Guest Reviews
- Eleanor (9/5): A unique and private place in a lovely location - Lovely location, truly feels secluded but you're still so close to Wexford town and the coasts. There was a peahen on the property who loved to sit on our windowsills! The host was friendly and the home itself was very fun, I spent a lot of time in the hanging chair. Appreciated the kitted out kitchen, helped us prep food for long days out exploring the area! There are some spiderwebs and spiders in some of the harder-to-reach spots like in rafters and corners, so if you're an arachnophobe be warned!
- Andrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seán (10/5): Brilliant stay - Beautiful property in a peaceful and quiet location. Perfect for a couple getaway and if you’re looking for something different than a usual hotel stay. No complaints

- Colleen (10/5): Excellent place to stay comfortable and close to town - The property was a home from home, very comfortable and a great location only a short distance from town. Nothing, it was great 👍🏻
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (10/5): Awesome stay close to hiking and downtown Wexford - Quaint, quiet and unique.Lynn has a beautiful property conveniently located for day trips to Wexford, Waterford, New Ross, Enniscorthy etc. Nothing
- Julie (10/5): Lovely cottage with beautiful views - Nicely kitted out with everything you need. Lovely grounds with all the animals. Very neat.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clair (9/5): A wonderful base just outside Wexford town with spectacular views and a real home from home feeling. - Loved the setting, the warm welcome and we felt right at home straight away. The 3 dogs, chickens and peacock were great for our children.
- Arto (10/5): Cottage getaway - Nice place in a secluded area, perfect for a break from city life
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful setting, comfortable overall, good bed. A sign by the entrance to the property would have been helpful--I relied on recognizing it from the picture on the website.
- Ken (8/5): Very good - Concrete step across entire floor
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional - Loved how peaceful it was. Loved the layout of the cottage too. I suppose and this is only something very small but in the evenings/night times you'd miss the tv, but in saying that it was lovely too the way it was.
- Mary (9/5): Superb - This is a great place to stay, picturesque and full of old world charm and close to Wexford city. Nothing
- Henry (7/5): Excellent really enjoyed myself - Lovely cottage felt safe Noise of vehicles and the peacock early in the morning
- Cillian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (9/5): Charming and nicely renovated. Quiet and private. - Very nicely renovated old cottage close to town but rustic.
Adorable friendly dogs and two peacocks.
Lovely touches; with a nod to the fact that her property was formerly an equestrian center.
Well equipped kitchen.
Toiletries, dish soap, spices etc. provided.
There is another larger house on the same property. We found that once the other guests checked into that property that our Wi-fi became more sporadic.
We also lost hot water one day and when we contacted the owner to ask (she did not reach out to us) it turned out that the other guests has somehow turned off the hot water supply.
No TV which is fine
with us but may be a negative for some.
The bathroom especially the shower would be a problem for a plus-size individual and the property is definitely not suitable if you’re mobility challenged.
The owner is very friendly and laid back but available as needed. She provided the EIR code location (we had never heard of this, being from the US). GPS does not work to locate the property and there is no signage or street numbering. If you don’t travel with local cell service or a data package it would be impossible to find. Basic directions including landmarks, street numbers and distances would be helpful.
- Eunice (9/5): We enjoyed our stay very much and would come back again. - The cottage was self-sufficient and had everything we needed for self-catering and to be comfortable. Lynn was very friendly and made sure we had were taken care of. The location was in the mountains with a lovely view and near walking trails which we enjoyed. As the cottage was next to the road, road noise was audible early morning but it was not a busy road. It was also a working property with animals so if you’re looking for a remote quiet location or a light sleeper, this may not fit. We didn’t mind and liked the animals.
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Ciaran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Breege (8/5): Peaceful and tranquil stay over in the renovated barn. - The bed was comfortable. We got an extra blanket from our host when we asked for it.The property is located in a tranquil location and within walking distance from a nice walking amenity. There were extra supply of toiletries provided which was a nice touch. We proberly needed written instruction on where the switch for hot water for our shower.

- Louise (10/5): Exceptional - The cosy cottage, the privacy, the space, the views. Being in the countryside but having the town conveniently close. Also, the lady who owns this property is just lovely. The WiFi was a little spotty, but honestly, that didn't really bother us as we were there to unplug.
