- Luke (9/5): -
- Julia (7/5): -
- Pontsho (4/5): - Erno don't know how to talk to people
- Edith (7/5): - The house is beautiful. The property is conveniently located near the amenities and comes with all the required utensils.
The view facing the Maluti Mountains was exciting. Nothing
- Rehder (8/5): Our stay was comfortable and pleasant, with a few small areas that could be improved. - The property is beautifully spacious, spotless, and perfectly located — it truly feels like a place you can relax.
We really enjoyed how open and bright the space is. We really appreciated the space and location, but felt that a few areas could use a bit of attention or updating.
- Sizwe (1/5): - Was clean To be accused of stealing
- Jemina (10/5): The house was very clean and everything was good - Eveything was superb ,The house was clean and there we liked the fact that we were able to hold our braai Nothing
- Jabu (8/5): Home away from home - The fact that they provided us with wood for stove as it was bit chilly and the house lounge is spacious The grass next to the trampoline needs to be properly cut and overall grass around the yard
- Sidd (8/5): - The house is located in a beautiful setting with a stunning mountain view, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The interiors were clean, and the utensils provided were also spotless, which added to the comfort of our stay. However, there are a few areas that require attention to enhance the overall experience and ensure safety and privacy:
1. The main entrance gate was broken; we had to physically lift and close it, which is not safe or convenient.
2. There were no curtains or blinds in the house in ground floor , which compromised privacy and raised safety concerns, as the interiors are fully visible from outside.
3. None of the bedrooms had lockable doors, which was inconvenient.
4. The toilets and showers lacked any form of separation, which made it uncomfortable, especially when staying with family members.
Fixing these issues would make the house much more comfortable and inviting.
- Refentse (10/5): Our stay was excellent - The place was very clean and the kitchen was fully loaded. Very impressive N/A
- Simphiwe (10/5): Stunning views for days! - Location and the views. Nothing
- Quintus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nishika (1/5): Bad - Stayed one night and the very next night we had an intruder come right upstairs into the bedroom and robbed. Interestingly, nothing stolen from the owners property but my handbag and belongings worth over R30k stolen. Security very light on the property and we left immediately as we did not want to stay a second longer. Was looking forward to a break and only ended up more traumatized after this event at this property 😪😪😪😪
- Siyabonga (5/5): Passable - No breakfast
- Pearl (9/5): Wonderful - Location is excellent. Makes it easy to explore the place Nothing!
- Xoli (2/5): Noisy neighborhood, unfixed plumbing, no outside lights, no blinds made us feel unsafe had to leave - Beautiful crockery and cutlery, stove and good wifi. Good view of mountain Outside lighting, blinds, better plumbing for shower, privacy for toilets, stable stairs
- Maritza (10/5): Rustic hidden gem - Good rustic selfcatering house. All one may need, close to the small town and shops and nice mountian view. Owner very accomodating and happy to assist.
Indoor BBQ , very cool! Nice wood burning stove and great Kitchen Some doors not working and loose on hinges.
Stair pieces not secure. Shower broken and flooded the bathroom. One patio door broken and when it rained seeped through the door into the house. This was not a problem as the owner is aware.
This property is in a wonderful location and just needs some maintenance.
- Lisa (8/5): Beautiful Location - Great location, spectacular view, suitable for families, dining indoors/alfresco. General decor and design are lovely. Downstairs bathroom floods as shower floor gradient is not steep enough.
- Sophia (8/5): Very good -
- Heraldine (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (5/5): Overall great stay close to town - Great location! Close to town Doors doesnt lock! No plug in second room! And need curtins for window as light comes in very early
- Wendy (3/5): Great location. House needs loving hands. - The location of the property is exceptional, just few houses down from the main square of Clarens. View from the house to mountains and fields. Garden is taken care of. Toilet and shower do not have any doors separation them from bedroom. Even for close partners/spouses it is too much.
Water from shower wets the whole toilet space. In the second bedroom only bath is available which with no water in town was useless (there was around half tank of water present outside the house but the pump needed to be turned on/off manually by the tank). All features required maintenance, starting from the staircase to the second floor with wiggly steps to gas stove with handles left in your hand after use. All door locks need attention. Top loader washing machine is placed under counter:). It was livable and we spent two night there, but would be annoyingly disappointing to stay longer. After fixing all the issues the house will be more welcoming.
- Tshanduko (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about the place The water pressure
- Anusha (9/5): Fun family getaway home - The accommodation was very neat and cleaned. It was very spacious with a beautiful garden..very relaxing. The open plan bath and toilet setup. Not a very ideal situation for sharing with family members. There should be at least a wall or a curtain to close off the section for privacy while sharing the bedroom. In the other room there should be atleast a hand shower installed so that the tub could be used since there is a water issue and one can't use the bath to fill up for a bath.
- Molahlehi (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation is so awesome especially for group of friends who wants to travel together and have some fun in Clarens, I will be in Clarens again this festive seasons and I am gonna book it again everything, its near everything
- Landsberg (8/5): Very good -
- Yolanda (10/5): Wonderful - Comfortable and clean, just in the centre no need to drive to go to the restaurants Nothing
- Daniel (9/5): Soulful breakaway in beautiful surroundings - Beautiful scenery. Restaurant situated behind property. Noisy until 22:00 over the weekend.
- Boitumelo (8/5): Very good - The house, the location and the views The owner didn't sweep the floor so it was a bit dusty and we couldn't find the broom
- Chauhan (5/5): Passable -
- Vicky (4/5): Disappointing - Lovely comfortable beds. Location good No warning on no water at certain times. Hosts were not ready for us upon arrival/didn't even know about the booking so had to check in 2hrs later whilst they got the unit ready. Hosts laundry left in washing machine.
- Carey (8/5): Very good - Great location
- Yvette (9/5): Beautiful location, close to Town and restaurants. Beautiful scenery from front door. Lovely stay! -
- Ingrid (4/5): Disappointing -
- Tshepang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesego (8/5): Tranquility at best - The place was in a very quiet area and close to town. The beds were super comfortable. Nothing really.
