• Nathalie (10/5): Stunning location, safe and welcoming, in the heart of Ancient Egypt - This is an absolutely stunning apartment with the most incredible view out over the river to Luxor Temple on one side and the Western Mountains on the other. You are right in the heart of Ancient Egypt here, as well as being within walking distance of some lovely restaurants on the West Bank. You are close to the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III, and a short drive (Or v long walk - or donkey ride if you fancy it) from Medinet Habu, Deir el Medina (the workers’ village), the Ramesseum, the Golden City of the Aten,and the Tombs of the Nobles. You can also easily take a car to the Balleynof the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Western Valley and the Temple of Hatsehpsut. Khaled is a brilliant trip organiser. I’m a woman and I travel alone and I have always felt completely safe with him and his family who welcome you like one of their own. Khaled will organise all excursions for fair prices, meaning that you can create your own itinerary or ask him for advice. This is Egypt at its very best.
