Guest Reviews
- Maria (10/5): Clean apartment, ony 10 minutes walk from the must see. - It’s clean and comfortable Be prepared for the stairs that you need to use to go to the centre- the property was lovely and owners very helpful no to dislike about
- Isidora (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erika (4/5): Disappointing - My partner and I both love Perugia and have stayed there several times, on a contract with the university. We chose this property for the wonderful location, just under the medieval aqueduct, in the old town. The apartment itself was great and I would gladly return there on a next occasion, but on our return something bizarre happened. A few days after leaving we received a message from the host, claiming that we irredeemably damaged the sink and bidet taps with acidic substance, and asking for 200 EUR damages. Needless to say, we never used any acid on our 8-day stay (indeed, why should we have tried to deplaque taps...), let alone muriatic acid, as the owner claimed. Let me add that the corrosion on the photos sent looks clearly old, and indeed the taps had signs of corrosion on our arrival. It was probably an old cleaning accident that they made us pay for. My messages pointing all these out were ignored; soon another claim for damages arrived via Booking.com, this time (mysteriously) for 150 EUR. In the end we paid up to leave this matter behind, but it was clearly a rip-off and foul play. While the apartment itself was great, I would strongly advise anyone against having to do with this host - or be prepared to be made to pay for all kinds of "damages".
On our many travels through Italy and elsewhere, nothing comparable ever happened to us. We would gladly have chosen that apartment on a next trip to Perugia, but definitely not after this experience.
- Ficorilli (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation was clean and the owner was very nice and helpful. It was 10 minutes from the main square. We were in Perugia in August, so we were very happy that there was air conditioning.
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (1/5): Worst place of whole trip due to little to no sleep due to parties and barking dog. - Extremely noisy neighbors. Party one night. Next two nights dog constantly barking left alone. No sleep. Owner not helpful when asked for a partial credit
- Johanna (3/5): Not fun, it was hard to get to and at the bottom of the old town with hundreds of steps to get to the top - It is accomodation for back packers. The bed is thin and hard. The linen and pillows are old. The bath towels super hard.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (10/5): comfortable and cosy two bed apartment - the property was perfect for our stay of 5 nights. it is very well located and only 5 mins to the main piazza up the steps. it is in a quiet residential street but i would just bring some ear plugs as sometimes you can hear other residences opening their doors etc :) the owner was very friendly and explained the apartment when i arrived nothing - just note that there are steep steps to get to the main piazza but all of perugia is hilly and has steps!
