• SIWEN (1/5): Terrible Experience - Good location A Terrible Experience The owner didn't tell us anything before we arrived. Upon reaching the door, we had to do the following: 1. Asked the owner for the door code and key to open the door. 2. No electricity. After contacting the owner, he topped up the electricity and told me to bring the white appliance and charging cable from the kitchen to downstairs to ask the security guard to charge it. 3. No internet. We tried the Wi-Fi password several times without success. Finally, we got it right, but there was no internet. We waited half an hour for him to fix the network problem. 4. No hot water for showers. When we asked the owner, he said I should go to the balcony to turn on the water heater, but there was still no hot water. Then he said there was nothing he could do because it was too late to find anyone to fix it. In the end, we had to take cold showers in the 15-degree Nairobi night. The toilet was filthy. The sink and urinal had yellow stains, and the toilet light was broken. We stayed for three days and no one came to fix it. The next morning, when we went to the balcony, it was covered in dust and leaves, as if no one had lived there or cleaned it for a long time. Only after we complained did the owner call a cleaner. The apartment has a terrible orientation; it's completely dark during the day and you need to turn on the lights. My clothes took three days to dry after I hung them on the balcony. Even when it's sunny outside, the apartment is cold inside. Combined with taking a cold shower the first day, I caught a cold the next day. Due to the lack of sunlight, the bathroom ceiling is moldy, making living here extremely uncomfortable. Communication with the owner: I had to proactively ask him about every single issue, as he didn't inform me beforehand. Furthermore, he was very slow to respond. I called him several times via WhatsApp, but he never answer.

• Essie (7/5): Great and can still be better. - It's in a very good location close to all essential services. The host is very friendly, professional,and great in communication with clients.The apartment is clean and well maintained. Just a few things to work on.. Despite all the great stuff about this place, l found it frustrating that even Airport taxis are not allowed for drop off and pick up from the car parking, one has to struggle with carrying all the luggage upto outside the gate. Another thing to improve on is to ensure Guests have electricity through their stay, it felt awkward having electricity units loaded in bits and making up to blackout because the electricity units were done. You could consider having power back up during power shutdown for Guests on official mission, stayed the entire day without electricity during a shutdown yet was on official mission and lastly you could consider having a washing machine for Guests on long stay and for washing the beddings,the cleaning lady uses her hands for washing and l noticed some of the beddings and towels don't get well washed. Otherwise it's a great place and l enjoyed my stay.
• Mercy (8/5): - Cozy apartment .I had ample space as a solo traveller .Location was very good as I wanted to explore restaurants and nightlife .Loved how secure the complex was with extra security.Treated water to drink was a bonus . Host responses were delayed . There is room to improve on seamless communication . I feel its always good to have someone to welcome on arrival . I had 3 heavy bags which i had to carry by myself up the steep and to the room . The bedroom lights are very dim , i had to switch on all the house lights just so i could get ample light into the room . The geyser outside is quite confusing on what should be switched on and off - I didn’t understand the instruction . Please add a drier to the facility and the bedding could be improved. The mechanic shop downstairs , they were hammering through for the whole 5 nights i was there Generally though for the price. -It was a fair deal.

The host was easily reachable at all times that I reached out and always answered any questions that I had. The apartment was well maintained and felt like a home away from home. The location and security also was top notch. I will definitely be back as soon as I return to Nairobi again! Nothing not to like

Constant dog barking from 22:00 hrs till 3 am disturbing sleep.If you need good sleep at night avoid. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to check out an hour and 15 minutes later the care taker was not understanding at all , I have booked accommodation with booking.com before and I must say I was taken aback by aggressive tone of the care taker I was happy to pay for the extra time.

The WiFi worked well, kitchen was well stocked (although we didn’t use it) and there was drinking water provided. Definitely recommend for your stay in Nairobi! Nothing.

Overall I found the apartment as was in the photos, beautiful, quaint and peaceful. Will be going back soon.

• Jabulani (8/5): Couple 2 night stay - My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights here and I would say it was great value for our money. The place was clean and spacious with a comfy living room, big tv, decent size kitchen, and balcony. The bed was also comfortable and the room had nice shower as well. And despite it being in an area with a lot of restaurants, malls, clubs, etc... it was quiet and peacful at night. I would suggest that they maybe add some hangers in the wardrobe and to change the lightbulb in the bedroom, those small changes can make it a little more comfortable especially for longer stays. Otherwise we had a lovely stay!

• Anonymous (3/5): not comfortable - Location Foul smell in the bedroom all night, it was as though the room was mopped with a very dirty/ stinky and dump mop or surfaces cleaned with a dirty smelly cloth. No WiFi connection at all. Host had not topped up the electricity when we arrived and so we had to wait about 30 mins for this to be sorted. It was late, nearly 1am and we had to be up early by 5:00 to catch a flight the next morning. Disappointing.
