Guest Reviews
- Cailean (10/5): -
- Soo (4/5): Grotty little apartment & that is being kind! - Bathroom was spacious with a good shower, although toilet seat unsafe as moved and nowhere to hang anything. Whole place was grotty & damp & looked like it needed a good clean. Sheets on bed felt damp, which was very unpleasant and damp patches all over, which explains the dehumidifier and the steaming up of the bathroom mirror whilst shower was in use, which wasn't great. TV was useless, it was ok if you spoke several languages except English, (despite changing the language to English in the settings) & remote control is disgustingly filthy. I contacted the proprietor which was a waste of time as they were less than helpful. Pleased we were only there for two nights & we would not stay there again, nor recommend anyone else to, even those on a budget as it was no where near worth what we paid. Should've got a Travelodge...
lesson learned.
- Adrian (1/5): Location great but not as clean as I would expect for the cost - Location was great, To noisey as we were in the basement apartment,You could here people stamping about all night,Could do with a good paint and tidy up,Blinds were full of dust and signs of damp on the walls,Bed sheets were clean but you could see stains from times before, wouldn’t book again,We payed £200 for the night which I suppose isn’t overly expensive for London but I believe the apartment could do with a good tidy up dust and decorating
- Greer (6/5): Desperately in need of an update to make it worth the cost being charged - Good location, 5 min walk from Kings Cross St Pancras which made it more easily accessible from Heathrow More bedsit than anything else. Very rundown and in need of an update. Photos are incredibly deceptive, making it look like a separate bedroom, living (for kids) and bathroom area when in fact it was all in one room. Definitely not suitable for more than 1-2 people. Also doesn't advertise that there are steps down to a basement only access. If you stay, make sure you close blinds as there is a sensor floodlight that activates with any movement. Overall, I don't think it was worth the cost I paid for the 3 nights.

- Sorensen (9/5): -
- Katie (7/5): Fine for a couple of days in London - Great bathroom and shower facilities. Ideal location for King's Cross for getting into and out of London. Perfect for a couple of days to sight see various locations. Plenty of food and drink options nearby and nice to have a fridge available in the room for drinks and snacks It was very musty smelling and a little tired. Tv didn't seem to load any channels. Not keen on having tea and coffee open, would be nicer if they were in sachets. A bit of noise from the street outside but that's expected in the location it's in.
- Haydee (7/5): Ubicacion genial - La ubicacion y la ducha. Las camas eran comodas. Ademas tenia heladera, pava electrica, etc.
- Petr (7/5): Nice stay overall, but with some easily fixable issues - We stayed for two nights. Communication with Roy was very fast and smooth.
Key collection was simple, and access to the apartment was straightforward.
The double mattress was very comfortable — firm, but not too hard.
The bathroom was otherwise clean, spacious, and very nice.
Overall, despite a few issues, our stay was still good. The flat was quiet, with no street noise except for the occasional garbage truck. In our case (Apartment A), it turned out to be a basement flat, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the listing.
The place looks a bit better in the photos than in reality.
When we arrived, the flat had been cleaned in a hurry — the toilet hadn’t been flushed, the seat was not properly cleaned underneath, and one towel was dirty and didn’t smell fresh.
The dishes were still wet, and the sheet on the single bed had a yellowish tint (possibly just a mattress protector).
The slats on the single bed were sunken in, and our daughter found it uncomfortable.
There was no hand towel provided.
We reported all of this to the owner, who may have passed the message on to the housekeeper, but unfortunately, nothing was done afterwards.
If the reported issues had been addressed (or had not occurred at all), our rating would definitely be higher.
- Wall (10/5): Exceptional -
- Camilla (6/5): Great location wise, but the humidity was a huge problem and feels overpriced because of it. - Good location, bathroom was really nice, good size for two people. The apartment was very humid, many of our clothes felt damp because of the humidity and our towels didn’t dry. The fan and dehumidifier did nothing. The apartment had a strong smell of moisture, and they definitely tried to cover the smell with the air fresheners. The smell is now on all of our belongings. There are also huge cracks on the sides of the door so we could hear everything from the hallway and the neighbours. The cleaner came really early and was talking on the phone so loud we woke up because of it on multiple mornings. The neighbours kept leaving the front door and gate open which made us feel unsafe.
- Steve (9/5): Superb -
- Sheryl (7/5): Comfortable flat centrally located great access to public transport. - Location is great close to public transport and easily accessed. Comfortable sleeping and nice bathroom. Kitchenette is very tiny and doesn’t have a sink.
- Adolf (4/5): great location but worn-down half-basement apartment with poor mattress - needs some love! -
- Davide (8/5): Very good -
- Simone (7/5): Good - position lower ground level
- Kirsty (3/5): Photos aren’t a true reflection of size, wouldn’t stay again. - It was close to King’s Cross for ease for Eurostar. Both the main bed and the sofa bed were exceptionally uncomfortable and none of us got any sleep. The front door handle on the inside of the apartment fell off several times.
- Debbie (8/5): Excellent stay - The property is an excellent location. Was clean and facilities were good.
I struggled to find it at first but the host was very helpful sending me a picture of the entrance.
The cleaner was very friendly and helpful when dropping our bags off .
- Janelle (7/5): Good -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gill (6/5): Pleasant -
- Edward (3/5): Fine for short term, nothing more - Good location, clean but lacking essential maintenance. I read an earlier review said the door handle was loose, but I assumed if so, they would have had it fixed by now. Apparently not. On the surface all was fine for an overnight stop. Then you look in more detail to uncover mould, dodgy electrics, disregard for appliance location - no space to use them.
TV non functional, but does a good job collecting dust.
In essence it's ok, but don't plan on an extended stay until assurances of a bit of care for upkeep
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michele (8/5): Very good -
- Stefan (7/5): It was worth the price compared to other near properties - Location, clearness. No cable TV, no chance of using any cooking equipment. I didn't need it at all, except the TV, poor wi fi quality inside the room, but after all if you are looking a quiet space, 9 bus stops with 91 Bus to Trafalgar Square or 3 to 6 subway stations to the city center, a walking distance to British musium or another famous destination, it is a good price compared to location.
- Sheila (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sheila (4/5): Disappointing -
- Debbie (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent. The property was very quirky and fitted our needs perfectly . It was very secure and we liked the idea of codes to get in.
It was very clean and spacious .
We were allowed to leave our bags too which was a great help. The door handle on the inside needs fixing.
Apart from that everything was good!
- Francesca (8/5): Very good -
- Yue (2/5): It’s a terrible place to stay, the hygiene condition is very poor, and there is always someone trying to unclock the doo -
- Patryk (8/5): Very good -
- Alkharusi (2/5): It was really horrible night & unfortunately the payment non refundable we moved to another cleaner hotel next morni - Location Bed sheets & covers not clean
WiFi was not working
Very noisy outside as we got basement apartment & the outside lights were sensitive when any person pass through so outside lights was on most of the night with the broken curtain it was really horrible night
Curtains broken
Windows locked
- Claire (5/5): Passable -
- Marilyn (8/5): Very good -
- Jenny (4/5): Not as advertised - Close to Kings Criss Station. - Stairs were more like a ladder. Very hard to traverse with heavy luggage.
- Cramped bedroom. Had to walk sideways to get to the bed.
- Extremely expensive for what it is,
- Merin (4/5): Bring door safety locks 3 if you want - Location
Good bathroom
Spacious room including kitchen appliances Not at all clean
Very dusty and no cleaning tools available.
Door lockers to terrace were not lockable. Especially one opposite to front door is completely open.
Very hot room..fan was provided but not working.
- Clifford (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (4/5): We were upset but after a long day driving, we made a good thing out of a bad thing. - Host didn't send information at the beginning of the day when we arrived on how to get into the property, then we received an email after asking and was sent a picture of the door and the lock box with the code which was great but didn't sent the door code to get in the front door so was stood in the rain ringing the door bell until a man who was either living or staying there and he let us in and gave us the front door code, when we got into the property the door to the balcony was open and hanging slightly because it was broken and the key had been snapped off in the lock, there was a charge for cleaning but the thick dust behind the microwave and around the floor and tv cabinet shows it hadn't been cleaned properly in a while, the toilet set was broken and moved every time you sat on it, one of the beds was up against another balcony door which you could lock but didn't open unless you moved the bed out the way, the place was ideal for where we needed to be and had to pay parking outside as a visitor which was expensive at £20 a day, felt let down as London is worrying without worrying about your accommodation, the only good thing i could say about the property was that there was a fan in the room which was needed with the heat, mattresses could do with a good clean when you change the sheets and the pillows either need washing or replacing often, was nice to have clean towels when we arrived, we wont be staying again, if your not fussed and just need somewhere to sleep then you should be fine if they fix the broken door as it connects to the other building and we were worried leaving to go out thinking someone would get in.
- Tamami (2/5): disappointed(;_;) - Good location. Guidance of host was helpful. I booked this apartment 6 nights, but I left in 3 days this room is too different than I expected even it’s not so cheap.
The room is not clean enough as there are someone's hair and dust everywhere, and there are many flies flying in the room. Even I couldn’t open the window, more flies come into the room. The smell of air fresheners makes me sick.
I didn’t realize it’s on basement and no kitchen(It says “mini kitchen” but completely no space and no sink means not the kitchen. I have chronic disease, I need a kitchen to prepare my special menus. No laundry machine as well and no changing towels, I needed to go to coin laundry also waste of money and time.(It's wrote there is a laundry machine on top page that is misleading). Terrible Wifi conneciton as well.
It's big waste of money for me, but couldn’t stand staying here any longer. We moved to other flat.
- Morten (6/5): Pleasant room, but not the expected parking options. - Perfect location with all you could need for a couple of nights stay nearby. Very easy access to the underground. Quick access to inner city London. It said 'parking available' when booking, which was my main reason for booking. Upon arrival there was no parking available. We found parking at the street, but it was only available half the day. Other parking nearby required booking by phone, which only worked with UK number. With no options available, we had to park at the street, and we were of course fined. Really a shame - I would have booked something else, if I knew the exact parking situation.
- Quan (7/5): Good location, good price - Location is good, just 5 minutes walk from King's Cross Station Toilet is not clean
- Doris (5/5): For 2 persons it is fine - Location The Couch broke down, very uncomfortable
Even if the Location is Perfect, it Should be Invested in a good bed and in the Kitchen fourniture
- Johny (7/5): Great location. Clean room. Just damp. - Location It was a basek=ment flat and a little humid. Did not realize it was a basement flat. Would be nice if multiple key were available. My sons wanted to go out at night and i had to keep door unlocked or make sure I did not fall asleep so I could let them in.
- Fiorella (9/5): Superb -
- Hanneke (6/5): Great location, apartment needs some attention - Great location, staff easy to contact when needed and help for a broken lock was offered swiftly though it took quite some time to fix Not very clean, kettle had lots of calcium in it, Netflix didn’t work, fold out bed kept collapsing, couldn't close the window eg lots of noise during the night
- Josh (8/5): Great location, great price. - The location was perfect for two travelers that were on foot. It is about a 3 minute walk from King Crossing so all of the mass transport is nearby. Also a lot of food and drink nearby. Seems in need of a carpet update. Maybe some new firmer mattresses. Overall, though, these things didn't ruin our stay.
- Nuno (4/5): Not worth it. - The location was good and the host was very helpful. Both beds were very uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed. This was not appropriate for three people, two small and cramped.
- Angelica (9/5): Superb - I liked the location, it was literally 8 mins by walking to the train station, and close to amenities. The fridge it's a little noisy and you can hear it while you are trying to fall asleep
- Wilton (9/5): Great location, well-organised space and good value considering it is right next to Kings Cross. - Very good location, easy-to-find. Good communication. Everything you need. Practical and did the job. Spacious and love that it has two large beds in the same room. Perfect for a co-sleeping family with young children…. Or for two travellers who like their room…. Or for 4 adults who are looking for good value and don’t mind sharing a good size double bed. Lovely spacious kitchen for self-catering stay. Well-equipped. Nothing - it was really good. Things to be aware of: it is in central London and doesn’t have double glazing so there is a little night time noise but nothing major and absolutely to be expected.
- Eleftherios (8/5): Very good - very good location next to trains and metro. clean and quiet room.
- Emily (3/5): Convenient for train station if single person - do not stay with your family or children. - The host was very responsive and cleaner was lovely and helpful.
Close to train station as that is what we wanted with luggage and stroller. Incredibly noisy!
The metal stairs are right next to the apartment and you can hear people going up and down them all night. The people next door (unsure if residents or holidaying too) were up all night - which you can hear everything. They had a smoke machine of some sort and smoke came out from their door and under ours and set the smoke alarm off at midnight.
Someone tried to put their key into our door at 2am and persistently tried to open it even when I yelled out to them.
It is very convenient if you need to be near the train station and was a clean apartment but we did not feel safe with all of this going on throughout the night.
Would not recommend for anyone with children or a single woman.
- Brooke (8/5): Clean, comfy and well located. - Location was great and it was clean and comfortable. Although basic, it was all we needed. Would stay again.
- Anne (2/5): Awful - Dirty cutlery and tissues lying around. Unmade bed stains everywhere on curtains. Steaming hot, no open windows. No wifi. Noisy.
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susana (5/5): Passable - Location It was really noisy and although the kitchen and bathroom were fairly new, overall the apartment was old
- Gaurab (9/5): Great - Great location
- Choo (8/5): Great location for short stay in London - Location at Kings Cross was great so walking distance to train stations and easily accessible to sights. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Access was down some stairs and then up a flight of narrow stairs so if you have big luggage, it’s challenging. The door to our apartment was also tricky to close and lock properly.
- Yongyuan (7/5): Good location but falls slightly short in accessibility - Proximity to St Pancras and King's Cross station. Good responsiveness and flexibility of staff in allowing early check in. Nice and friendly cleaning lady. Accessibility - I had to go down a narrow flight of stairs and then walk up another flight of narrow stairs to get to my ground floor flat. Hard to recommend my flat to people with mobility issues or with heavy luggage like me.
- Susan (6/5): Pleasant - Central location Difficult access. Good facilities but difficult to use appliances because of limited space.
- Adam (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chandramouli (8/5): Location and amenities were excellent - The location was excellent. The amenities really helped us out. The apartment was very clean. We had no pods for the dishwasher and we received them very quickly for us to use them. The apartment has washer and dryer whcih helped us out considerably. The apartment needed a fan considering the weekend we were there it was really hot. The appliances could have had operations explanations. It was tough for us to figure out how to operate them.
- Anita (1/5): I am going to try to get my money back........ - We could not find the place. There was NO clear directions. We stop at a hotel on the same street to help us. No one knew about this place. I tried calling the number but no one answered. Bottom line either this place is a scam or it is not correctly advertised on my booking.com. We had to pay for another night at a hotel. I have pictures to prove I tried to locate the place. We could not find the place.
- Adam (5/5): Passable -
- Debora (10/5): Exceptional - The pictures do not do justice to the place.
- Martha (6/5): If you just need a room to crash and sleep, this is the place. I would take my family here. - Good location near the train station. The first impression is pretty bad as you walk down to a trashy basement. The studio is pretty small with the sofa bed and queen bed too close to each other. It’s ok for a 1 night stay or for 2 people but definitely too small for 4 adults. The restroom is extremely small randomly placed in the middle of the studio.
- Anita (9/5): Clean and safe place to stay, close to Kings cross station. - Very good location, clean and comfortable. It was not easy to find the place initially as the address was confusing.
- Melanie (8/5): Good stay and great location for Eurostar - Excellent location, brilliant for trains, tube and Eurostar.
- Olivia (8/5): Very good -
- Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rajshekhar (10/5): Nice and perfect - Nice and perfect for small family Nothing
- Miho (8/5): Very good -
- Rybakov (5/5): Passable -
- Foreman (8/5): Very good - The roof top Nothing
- Barabax (8/5): A solid place in an excellent location with plenty to see/enjoy around. - The location was excellent. It made the whole stay a most wonderful experience. The place was easy to find and the kitchen was a bonus with kids. The room was not as clean as one would expect it to be. Some parts of the room would deserve a bit more care/renovation. However, all in all a good place for the stay.
- Márcia (5/5): The place consists of a room and a restroom, there is no way to easily cook meals there. - We liked that it was near to the Train Station where the Eurostar arrived (good transport system nearby, with train and coaches), also there were small supermarkets around (co-op) and a Nando's. We expected it to be an apartment, when in reality, it was basically a room and a restroom. The washroom did not have a window (no ventilation). The room was not on the floor level, but kind of like a basement. Also, we had a lot of luggage and there are narrow stairs, and no lift. We felt that the location was unsafe: as soon as we arrived, people approached us, trying to scam (or rob) us and started following us. There is no kitchen, they don't even have a proper sink (only in the washroom). Cooking there is impossible.
- Mohd (9/5): Superb -
- Yoni2022 (5/5): Wouldn't return - The location is great. Check in is a bit hard. Wifi terrible. Lots of noise from other apartments in the middle of the night and early morning.
- Caitlin (5/5): Passable -
- Kristy (4/5): Great location, host very friendly and accommodating but needs work. - Location Not the cleanest, multiple hairs found in bedding when rolled back. Foul odor from either the flooded stained walls/ceiling or rug.
- Mcgowan (9/5): Great location, enjoyed my stay. - A few minutes from King's Cross so easy access to local attractions. Clean, neat and comfortable stay. Responsive host, will be back. Netflix ok butTV reception was not good.
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Good location. Staff where all friendly. Appartment is cosy and cleaner was very nice and did good job. We where earlier than expected and they held luggage for us till room was ready which was very nice as we went off touring. If we visit again fir sure we will book here and recommend . Thank you
- Raymond (1/5): Left apartment after 15 minutes because my family felt unsafe. Other families with kids beware. - We stepped into the apartment for 15 minutes and my family with young children felt unsafe so we left to stay elsewhere. We felt unsafe because 1) the area was unkempt and had weeds growing everywhere 2) the balcony wood was rotting everywhere and my children could have fallen off and 3) some door and window locks were broken so people could open the apartment from the outside without any keys. Since we did not know the area (and it felt unwelcoming/sketchy) we decided very quickly that we could not stay. After a long whatsapp exchange the host refused to refund us our money even though we did not stay at the apartment. Not to mention we could barely fit in there. I hope other families with young families read this and beware.
- Limbikani (8/5): Very good -
- Shamim (8/5): Very good - Location was good. Kitchen facilities were also exceptionally good 👍 Mustafa was very helpful and was kind of him to attend to our requests promptly. Toilet seat was kind of loose. It was however fixed... but it didnt stay on forever ... maybe a new one would help.
- George (10/5): It was great stay and has sufficient facilities for staying with family and kid - The room was spacious and at walkable distance from kings cross There is a narrow staircase to access the room
- Yan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (8/5): Very good -
- Francisco (8/5): Very good - The best of all was the access and location of the flat near King's Cross!!
- Ariel (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, 200m from King's Cross station.
Modern and clean with all necessary kitchen appliances.

- Tim (10/5): Super comfortable stay in a great location - The check in is super easy thanks to the photo instruction from the host who was vey kind and helpful. MY flat had a nice view of the park which is a stone throwing distance from the King's Cross Station. I had a comfortable stay. All good.
