- Clara (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here. It was remarkably peaceful and the only sound you could hear was the birds singing. The rooms and the property have been decorated with detail that truly contributes to this calm and cozy southern European farm feeling. Cherry on the top was the lovely breakfast! We wished we could have stayed longer.

- Marieke (9/5): Magnifiek! Fijne plek - Kleinschalig en karaktervol! Mooie Quinta, die in ere is hersteld met heerlijk zwembad. Het is er super rustig en goed bereikbaar. Eigenaren zijn leuke betrokken mensen die je voorzien van tips. Echt fijn is ook dat je er goed kan dineren.
- penny (10/5): Heaven - We did a lot of research before booking our week in the Algrave. We stayed for one week. Frederic and Sandrine made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Quinta Baltazar is a slice of paradise! From the moment you drive through the gates you start to relax. We had a standard double room with own little terrace which got the morning sun. The rooms are so clean, calming and tranquil, bed super comfy and the showers - well i could have stayed in all day! We were also given clean towels everyday. The breakfast is the best we have ever had featuring local produce , succulent fresh fruit, selection of herbal teas, large nespresso machine for coffee addicts (like me!) mouth watering fresh pastries made by Sandrine. The owners are in the process of building/ developing a restaurant and spa to compliment the current set up and we will def be going back. We can also recommend Sandrine's optional in house dinner which we had on one of the nights. There is an honesty fridge in the reception /breakfast room with a good selection of wine/ beer and water so you dont even have to venture out if you dont want to! The sun loungers around the pool were very comfy and each had lovely clean towels that we could use. We hired a car from faro airport which meant we could get around very easily but another couple at the hotel were using ubers and trains which seemed to work well for them . Frederic can book yoga, bikes etc but we didnt use these on this visit as spent time doing cultural trips and visiting all the different beaches all within a few miles . the swimming pool was small but big enough to stretch out in and cool down.

Une région sublime et préservée, des paysages à couper le souffle, des plages immenses, et une authenticité parfaite. Des hôtes charmants, attentionnés et attachés à partager les merveilles de leur région. Bref, un séjour parfait dans un lieu parfait.

Danke euch beiden, Sandrine und Frederic 🙏 - Eine Oase der Ruhe, die so wunderbar liebevoll und ursprünglich gestaltet ist, dass man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen kann. Sandrine und Frederic tun alles, um ihren Gästen einen super schönen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Frühstück super lecker und abwechslungsreich und. das Abendessen war auch ganz fantastisch und lecker.
- Marte (10/5): Ein herrlicher Platz um zu entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. - Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und man fuehlt sich soforr angekommen und wohl. Alles ist sehr liebevoll und individuell gemacht und ausgestattet. Das Fruehstueck ist koestlich und die Lage der Quinta phaenomenal. Der herrliche Strand ist schnell zu erreichen und es gibt nette Ortschaften in der Naehe.
- Isabel (10/5): Un séjour merveilleux à Quinta Baltazar - Cet hôtel rural a un charme unique, décoré avec beaucoup de goût par Frédéric et Sandrine, qui vous accueillent avec beaucoup de chaleur. Chaque détail est soigneusement pensé. Le petit-déjeuner maison est tout simplement délicieux, préparé avec beaucoup d’attention. La propriété est un véritable havre de paix : piscine, calme absolu et les parfums envoûtants de la campagne tout autour. Idéalement située, à deux pas d’Altura et de Tavira. Sans aucun doute une expérience à refaire.
