• Clara (9/5): - Fantastic location and amazing view. Nice size kitchen and bathroom. Blackout shutters were great. Friendly hosts, easy checkin. Dishwasher and tablets/soap etc available. WiFi was not strong. Blunt kitchen knives and coffee pot didn't work due to badly fitting filter.
• Catherine (3/5): Spoiler Alert. Apartment misrepresented.It is a room with a shared hallway with poor kitchen facilities. Do not book if - It was clean and well located near the lake. Very very poor kitchen facilities, no sink , very little cutlery ( 2 spoons) or bowls . No sink or cooker or microwave. There was a hot plate , sandwich maker and 2 plates .There was small fridge.Kettle and 2 cups in room .Shutter on terrace door would only open to 5 foot. so you had to duck to get out.Only one poor quality very soft pillow per person on the bed.

We really needed more of an apartment style. The location and parking more than made up for any short comings the room had for us.

A quieter part of the lake which added to its appeal for us Nothing. All good. Parking is at a premium but the instructions for the parking were very clear

• Richard (9/5): Great location - comfortable stay - Great locaion right on the lake with a view across to the island and the castle. Very comfortable room which had evrything in it we needed. Also handy to restaurants and a small supermarket. As it was quiet we were able to park at the units and the host was very communicative and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the Island room was warm with plenty of space.

It is 30 seconds from a supermarket which was very convenient. It was great to have a full kitchen. The car park access could be tricky if someone was staying next door.

• Shikira (9/5): Great location-perfectly cozy stay with pristine views of lake Bled! - Amazing views of Lake Bled! Great location with parking and a couple places to eat right next door. Plus the market was very convenient. The apartment felt very homey and cozy and we appreciated the welcoming touches. We made it work, but one bathroom for the group of five was a little tight. Still very worth it.
• Victoria (9/5): Amazing view and location - We found the 3 bedroom apartment to be very comfortable and spacious. It totally met our needs for a few days' stay. The view from the 2 bedrooms at the front was stunning - looking straight over the lake. The kitchen was a good size, and much better equipped than we were expecting. We went to 2 restaurants close by, both of which were excellent and and we made good use of the small Mercator supermarket which is less than a 2 minute walk away. It was about a 15-20 minute walk into Bled itself. This was ideal as it saved having to drive and park there. We knew that there was no A/C at the property, but there were some large pedestal fans which did a great job of keeping us cool at night. There are several key boxes fixed to the wall by the entrance doors. We worked out which one ours was in the end, but more detailed instructions about this would have been helpful. The parking space was a bit narrow and awkward to reverse out of.
• martha (1/5): Nightmare. Don’t even think about staying here - This was in a great location and it was very clean The gentleman I spoke to from the beginning appeared to be angry with me . The place was very difficult to access in the sense that you car had to be parked at least an 8 g it was minute walk away up a steep hill . The parking was full every evening when we came in and it was difficult to maneuver in a parking space . The description said you have rented one apartment but it was a room . The place was unbelievably hot . It was fine if you opened doors and windows but then many many bugs came in . The shower leaked . The wi fi was marginal. When I complained I received zero response . Also the bathroom mirror was so high you could not see yourself in it. When you walk in the door there is a two step down , it is very dangerous as most people are opening a door and looking in and not down. So if you are foolish enough to rent this place, open the door with caution and look down. Lake Bled is beautiful and the people lovely . The restaurant next door is excellent . Lakeview Bled Heaven Apartments are not heaven more like hell

There's a supermarket around the corner which is handy. - big windows on the west side, so the summer afternoon sun made the room really hot. - no air conditioning or fan - no mosquito nets on windows so couldn't open the window wide to ventile, afraid that mosquito would come in - couldn't find a hairdryer - basic kitchen, not much equipment so couldn't really cook

The stairs are really dangerous as the foot can’t fit into their width. Easy to fall down and broke something. In the room there is not ever a single glass!!! I had to take an effervescent aspirin and it was not possible. The curtains on the balcony it’s a joke - no privacy!

• Lauren (10/5): Perfect 2 night stay at this lovely apartment with an incredible view. - This lakeside apartment was perfect for our two night stay in Bled. The views out the window are incredible. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect as we stepped right outside and were able to walk to the market, restaurants, attractions and hikes. The host was always very responsive with any questions we had during our stay. Nothing

Just add air conditioning;) - The apartment itself was beautiful and the views of the lake, the castle, and the island were magnificent. Was east to check in and it was nice to have a grocery store and a couple restaurants close I would highly recommend adding some air conditioners. I didn’t realize when i booked it that it didn’t have air conditioning. This was totally my fault. Fortunately there was a fan in the apartment. However, air conditioning in the summer is a must. We would’ve opened the windows more, but too many bugs came in when we did this. A deck off the front of the house would be spectacular if it is ever possible.

The terrace was lovely We felt it should be described as a room with bathroom and terrace rather than an apartment, as there was no kitchen equipment at all, not even a glass to get a drink of water from the tap.
• Zsuzsanna (10/5): Outstanding accomodation directly on the lakeshore - The Apartment Heaven is a perfect accomodation for 4-5 persons, it's clean, spacious, beautiful and equipped with everything you need for a holiday. The apartment has a breathtaking view of the lake, which is really just a few steps from the house. The hosts are super nice and really helpful. There is a free parking spot at the entrace. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. The bed was a little bit soft for us, but that's obviously a matter of taste. :)

• Genevieve (4/5): Good location and clean but facilities and view were certainly below par - Be careful booking this apartment as there are two with very different facilities and that is not clear. This listing is one apartment that has been divided into two spaces to create 2 AirBnB. We had the back "apartment" which was more of a studio space with a bed and a bathroom and sofa and it had no view at all. It did have access to a terrace that was weather dependent so you could possible get a bit of a view of the lake if you sat out there. The "kitchen" facilities for this studio were another room down a shared hall that you had to lock and unlock. It had a hotplate and a table but no sink. The only sink accessible was in your bathroom in your bedroom and it was so small you could barely fill the kettle. If you had planned on doing a lot of your own cooking and washing up this would have been less than adequate. Secondly, the parking instructions were incorrect. I have no problem with parking up the road due to space issues but they gave us the wrong street number and as we arrived after dark we couldn't see the building they had shown in the picture and it was another 50m up the road on the other side from the number we were given

There are places to eat nearby and even a small supermarket next door I did not get along with the fact that there is no reception in the place,And the reception of the room is conducted in a virtual way. and it is also highly recommended that there be an air conditioner in the room, because the days are hot in our world.

• Emily (6/5): Thumbs up on location, thumbs down on terrace, kitchenette without sink - The location close to the lake is great--right across the street. And there is a gurgling stream right behind the apartment that is musical. Right across the parking lot is a good restaurant and very close to a good small market. The parking space is reserved and only about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Pull up, unload, and then move your car to the parking space. First is the layout. From the exterior you enter a shared hallway. Off that hallway are three separate doors to the Heaven apartment, the Lake apartment we were in, and the Lake apartment kitchenette. So I wouldn't call that a private entrance, which is how it was advertised. This can be a problem because our Heaven apartment neighbors left their key in the inside of the shared entrance door lock and so we were locked out until they heard us banging and came and removed it. Second, while the kitchenette was clean and neat, with refrigeration and a hot plate, it had no microwave and most importantly no sink. So you can't wash your dishes in the kitchenette, but rather have to take them down the shared hallway, to your room and wash them in your bathroom sink (tiny and also yuck) or shower. Third, do not expect to see the lake from inside your apartment. Only if you go outside to your terrace and around the corner, can you see the lake. But beware if you do so because the wooden boards of the terrace/deck are very rotten. They give when you walk on them and the owners have covered parts with fake grass panels to keep you from falling through and/or noticing. This latter is a safety hazard that should be rectified immediately!
• Sarah (10/5): Location location - Great communication from hosts. Location was amazing across the road to lake and swimming. Supermarket 100m away. Local restaurants next door. Secure bike storage provided. Spices and oils were a bonus. No aircon would be very sticky when peak of summer. A little tricky to wash dishes in bathroom sink suggest a separate tub.
• Martha (6/5): Ok stay - Location was good. Internet was out for our first day there, shower head leaked (my husband had to tighten it). The apartment has a shared hallway but when we checked in the people across the hall had their door open and were in the hall kitchen so we thought it was a occupied. Not really in the center of town but very near the boat that takes you to Lake Bled church.

• Kiran (9/5): Very nice stay at Bled - Amazing lake view from the apartment. A big apartment to accommodate 4 adults and a kid. Had a fully equipped kitchen with sufficient groceries for cooking (3-in-coffees, pasta, tomato puree etc.) - so you don’t need to rush to the nearby Mercator for cooking. Mercator supermarket is just couple of blocks apart. Very good restaurants nearby (Starkl is a good nearby one). Also Pletna boating starting point is bang opposite to the apartment. Bled-Milno bus stop is just few blocks apart. We loved our stay here! None
• Jane (10/5): Lake Bled Gem - Communication from the hosts was amazing. The apartment was lovely, plenty of room and well appointed. Some lovely little extras which made us feel super welcome. We stayed in the Lake room which doesn't have full views of the lake, but it really didn't matter as we were out exploring all day and going to the fantastic nearby restaurants at night. Such a wonderful place.

We arrived early but were allowed to keep our bags in storage. Thanks! Some flying insects around. Double bed in one room actually a sofa bed. Pillows were so thin. Kitchen had good appliances but bring or buy your own oil, salt, pepper, etc. Limited pots and pans.

There are many mosquitoes so it's not pleasant to sit on the deck where you can see the church on the island. There are 2 steps at the thresholds to the room and bathroom.

When we arrived, my multiple contact calls were not answered. Booking.com renting out such apartment damages the image of the website.

We were troublesome waiting for the information for getting in the house nearby. the parking is far away which was not told before. have to walk 10-15 min with luggage. unpleasant about this. there is no privacy in the room. the toilet is glass without lid. there is no curtain for the whole room( or broken). no air conditioner and quite many insects and mosquitoes. and it is misleading for the view. only one room is facing the lake. our room allocated is facing the other houses. no lake view from thw window. This is understandable but just not to be misled by pictures. kitchen equipment is shared used by all rooms.
