• Joel (10/5): Well appointed and stocked flat in a great location for a good value. - Salamanca Getaway is a very well appointed small apartment in a great location. Just a 10 minute walk from Salamanca market and good restaurants, and a 15 minute walk from the central business district. we found the apartment clean and the fridge well stocked with essentials and beverages. After finishing a week on the overland track, it was great having the laundry machine and the hosts even provided a drying rack in addition to the dryer. Great value in a great location in Hobart. Will definitely try to book this place again if we are fortunate enough to return someday. wifi seemed slow and unstable. we were able to check email and surf a bit, but when we tried to FaceTime our kids back home on our holiday, it was not sufficient to keep a good connection.

The fridge was fully stocked with breakfast nibbles, which was such a nice surprise. I’ve travelled a lot and this was absolutely one of the nicest stays I’ve had, so many thoughtful touches.

Contact with the hosts was easy and attentive. Their instructions for entry very clear and concise. Very happy with all aspects of our stay & will happily recommend to others. The extent and variety of food and drink for consumption was exceptional (not that we used all). When we arrived, it was quite cold outside and we happily cooked some provisions provided. An easy walk to Salamanca Markets was a bonus.

The fridge was stocked with breakfast items, drinks and also snacks. We really appreciated the extra little things, like charging stations on the bedside tables.

• Amanda (8/5): Very good - Beautifully appointed apartment in a very good location. It had everything we needed, including an abundance of complimentary snacks and staples. Best stocked apartment I have ever stayed in. Bacon, eggs, milk, juice, chips, chocolate, breakfast cereals and bars, water, coffee machine and pods, and so much more. Easy, secure under property parking. We found the mattress a bit hard, and the water pressure in the shower was pretty ordinary. Also, as smokers, we were extremely disappointed that we were not allowed to smoke out on the patio. In the description, it only said the apartment was non-smoking. It said nothing about the patio. It ruined the idea of relaxing after a big day out with a bevvy and a smoke. Instead, we had to stand out on the street to have a smoke. Had we known this, we would have booked somewhere else. THIS SHOULD BE MENTIONED IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY!

Undercover parking with its own space & lift access to the unit. The welcome snacks convinced us that we can’t have picked a better place to stay while in Hobart.
