• Nicolas (3/5): Not Recommendable – Very Disappointing Experience at Ida’s Apartment - The location of the apartment was perfect. Unfortunately, our stay at Ida’s Apartment was far from satisfactory. From the moment we arrived, we encountered several serious issues, none of which were resolved during our stay (apart from the bedsheets) despite reaching out to the owner. The owner was uncooperative and unwilling to address the problems, which greatly affected the quality of our holiday. Here is a summary of the issues we faced: 1. The air conditioning did not work at all throughout our entire stay in one of the rooms, making the apartment extremely uncomfortable, especially during the hot summer nights. 2. The bed linens were dirty, with visible stains – including what appeared to be fecal marks. 3. The shower drain was blocked, causing water to accumulate every time we used it. 4. The mosquito net was broken, leaving us exposed to insects at night. 5. The hairdryer was defective, turning on by itself and unable to be turned off, posing a serious safety risk. 6. The washing machine was also not working, which was very inconvenient for a longer stay. Overall, the apartment was in subpar condition and lacked basic maintenance. The lack of response and cooperation from the owner made the experience even worse. Based on this, I cannot recommend staying at Ida’s Apartment. The owner refused to acknowledge responsibility and did not reimburse us for any of the inconveniences. Her apartment did not meet even the minimum expectations of cleanliness, comfort, or hospitality.
• Janet (7/5): Lovely, near the Trevi fountain, - It was very central, clean & facilities were good. Only one person at a time could shower as the temperature couldn’t be maintained in the other shower was in use.

Even though we were on 1st level, did have to walk up quite a bit of stairs which was difficult with our large luggage.

Host did offer to get our clothes washed so that was nice. -hairdryer in main bedroom hardly worked was all tried up either sticky tape. - broken piece on shower in main bedroom and it was so tiny hubby could hardly fit. - my daughter got locked in the second bathroom so there was no licking of doors after that as she was in tears. - kettle was faulty worked only when you juggled it 100 times. - no terrace view it was a ugly view of people balcony’s and locked yuk. Straight out of kitchen. Location was great But unfortunately not recommended, we definitely won’t be back.

• Louis (3/5): The location is good but the accommodation was not. - Ida was awesome and very resourceful. Ida suggested many places to go, things to see, and places to dine. She was spot on with her recommendations. There is no complaint with Ida. Ida was responsive and assisted at every turn within her abilities. I can't say enough good things about Ida. Ida was such a wonderful host and sympathetic of all our issues with the accommodation that she paid for our return minivan to the airport. Unfortunately, Ida is all the good I can muster to speak of other than the apartment's location. The location is optimal and within a short distance of all necessary travel modalities that allow guests to navigate the entire city and country with ease. Walking distances to all must-see Rome attractions is favorable. I did not like that we did not have hot water. The hot water heater took the chill off the cold water at best. Ida gave an instructional video on how to deal with this "acute/never occurring previously" issue. The video in/of itself indicated that this was a longstanding or previously occurring issue. The hot water heater had to be shut off daily. The hot water leaked terribly and had to be shut off after each cool shower due to complaints from the neighbors of it raining down from our apartment. The complaint was of the water raining down was told to me and I cannot attest to it as if it were stated directly to me. The hot water heater flooded our terrace and began to flood our kitchen. Additionally, there was major mold and mildew in both bedrooms and in both bathrooms primarily. The mold and mildew was overpowering. We took supplies that were on property and tried to address it as best as we could. These issues were reported to Ida and she expressed her sincerest apologies and acknowledged these issues mentioned. I reiterate, Ida was exceptional with her response to our concerns and this review is not reflective of who she is. This review is directed at the accommodations. The apartment is not as reflected in the photos. The only similarity was with the layout. Photos online reflected a pristine, modern, and colorful accommodation. This is not the case in reality or in the case of the apartment we stayed in. The terrace overlooks the interior trash collection area. I hate that I was asked to leave this review. I reluctantly submit this review because I am not a negative person or one to complain. Also, I don't like submitting this because Ida was awesome. On the other, I should mention these items in order for these items to be addressed favorably to enhance another family's experience. I am optimistic that these items will be addressed and not perpetuated.

• Meir (7/5): Nice place at a great location. Hostess was very communicative. - Located in a great place close to every important site in Rome . The hostess was very communicative and responded very quickly. The washing machine was broken and we counted on it. Had to do laundry at our expense.

• Pip (7/5): Great, spacious base to see all the sights in central Rome - Amazing central location - few minutes walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps & Villa Borghese. Spacious, bright apartment, and a great host who was very helpful. An excellent base for seeing the city. Also air conditioning was great after a hot day sightseeing! Decor/paintwork a little tired and no natural light in the apartment. Also upstairs neighbours were noisy on the weekend (but that’s to be expected in an apartment)
• Ciara (10/5): Highly recommend - the property is located right next to lots of restaurants, shops and the train station. It is only a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and Bernini. The host was amazing and was in constant contact to ensure everything was ok. the rooms are spacious and clean. The only thing I would say is that the walls are not thick so you can hear the neighbours from all sides
• Noris (10/5): Great host and excellent location and amenities! - The property is close to many of the sights in Rome and is also served by many restaurants and cafes very close by. There is a grocery store within a five minute walk. The host is wonderful providing assistance in any way that she could. She arranged our airport transfers and even drove us to the train station upon our departure. The apartment has an elevator which was extremely helpful with small children and strollers. Each room had a separate bathroom that provided a lot of convenience and comfort. We would highly recommend this location for anyone visiting Rome.
• Vesna (8/5): Excelent. - Location is perfect. You can walk to everywhere and experience Roma in a best way. The host was great, the aparment was like home. Realy like it. We were 7. One had to sleep on a side bad. The bad was good but just as a note. The apartment will be perfect for a family of 4.

• Julia (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the apartment is really nice, pretty near to the Trevi Fountain. The host was really helpful, always answered our text messages pretty fast. She also made sure that we had everything we needed. You can ask her anything, she is more than happy to answer!

• Καρολινα (1/5): th kids were sleeping at the floor!!! - only the position the hostess is a liar, very bad hostess, the sofa bed was awful and the folding bed was broken. she came to kick us out of the apartment and she told us that she would call the police if we didn’t leave !!!
• Roger (10/5): Great apartment- clean and tidy with lovely owner. - Great location- 2 mins to metro. We walked to most of the main sites from here. Owner was friendly with great communication. Apartment was clean and tidy. Aircon was appreciated. She allowed us to check in slightly early and leave our bags for a later departure. Family of 6, required use of the sofabed, however it was comfortable so didn't mind at all.
• Blossom (9/5): Nice Location; Perfect for families. - Property is close to the metro as well as bus stops, you can easily roam around. Also, very close to Trevi Fountain and restaurants. I love how the owner is acommodating, she is exceptional! She made sure that we are comfortable and even willing to book places for us. Rooms are clean and plenty of extra beds you can tuck into.
