The location was ok though the road to access it was not good and the properties around it were not so good. We expected a swimming pool it would be a welcome addition. The toiletry especially tissue were of very low quality.

- Amy (8/5): Best staff, retreat in the city! - I keep returning to this property because the staff are so, so thoughtful and kind! The location is a nice little retreat very convenient to the city. And there are good restaurants nearby to grab a meal away from the property. The road leading back to the property is in dire need of some attention. But, I also know that this is common virtually everywhere in Arusha.

- Artur (5/5): Passable - garden The staff promised everything but did nothing. We spent a lot of time without electricity and - as a result, also water. The hotel generator worked for a while, but then it didn't. Wifi mostly didn't work even when there was electricity. The hotel manager, mr.Hassan didn't even take that much time to explain the situation.... the only think, what he did well was that he gave ua a contact for safari guide, which was excellent. He also promised (by message through Booking.com) cheaper transport from/to airport that it was.

Then I couldn’t be served with the tea requested. The property is run down. Very poor maintenance. The bathroom was not very clean, mixture for cold/ hot water not working, low water pressure. Some attention need to be given to the rooms.

I ordered my meal but it was not ready until 2 hours later. However, the cook apologized. The hotel didn't provide body wash or shampoo in the bathroom.

- Jörg (9/5): Good value for money, beautiful garden. - The location is not too far from centre in a more quiet area, even a little bit hidden. They have a beautiful garden, where it is nice to rest from the busy town. The suites are spacious with balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. Again and again there was some technical noise at night, I suppose it is a water pressure pump. Breakfast quite simple, and the breakfast room is dark and ugly (but you can take your food into the garden).

Spacious rooms, maybe a bit dated bus ot has his charmes. A swimming pool would be soooooooooo great! 😉 You can't get any alcohol in the hotel (but they'll buy some in the street for you) You can walk to town center but be prepared for a nice hike

We had a very nice view of mount meru. Bathroom had a bit of a weird smell at times. Shower was just a showerhead above a bathtub which didn't work that great. Laundry was expensive.

They offered me to stay in another hotel (Lush garden hotel) for the same price, but it was terrible stay. Moreover, I met another people who had absolutely the same experience with this hotel on same dates!
- Ana (6/5): Make sure you get the upstairs room! - the staff is really nice and helpful ! the garden is beautiful ! we stayed there twice - pre and post safari. on the first night we got a good room with balcony, good bathroom and very clean. on the second time for whatever reason we were downgraded to a room that had an ant invasion, no cover on the toilet and no curtain on the shower…
