- Qi Coghlan (8/5): - A convenient and secure location with easy access to shops and restaurants. The apartment is clean and spacious. Good place for exploring Franschhoek
Highly recommended. Non
- Anthony (8/5): Wine Tasting Trip - Cute apartment, sunny courtyard, good location for wine tram. Lighting problems need attention.
- Nick (5/5): -
- Larsson (10/5): - A charming, traditional-style apartment featuring a wonderful outdoor space, a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom with a bathtub, and an additional guest toilet. Very peaceful and secure, but still close enough to walk to all the great cafes and restaurants. We really hope to return! Also with the wine tram station next door. Can't think of anything.
- Lauren (5/5): Didn’t stay, we moved somewhere else and forfeited our 3 nights. - If you want to be where the wine Trams depart from then you are right there. In small industrial type area, courtyard wall is on Tram parking area, very busy, noisy, could see taxi’s coming and going, we did not feel safe to walk from apartment to restaurants at night. Key locks need replacing, difficult to gain access. Needs an upgrade, feels old and a bit grubby especially couches, arm chairs. But if you on a budget and happy to put up with all the above I guess you will be ok. We moved, paid more but got an upgraded cleaner apartment.
- Isobel (9/5): Gorgeous stay in Franschhoek right by the wine tram - Incredible location right by the wine tram. We loved the eclectic decor, particularly the outdoor bath, and the garden space. Good cooking facilities and overall a fantastic stay. No issues. thanks so much!
- Fiona (9/5): -
- Kim (10/5): Lovely stay, thank you! - A perfectly comfortable and wonderfully located little apartment. Maybe some braai facilities in the courtyard would be nice, not sure if that would be allowed.
- Bojan (9/5): - All you need for a wine getaway
- Solomons (9/5): - The location was perfect , we could walk everywhere and it was safe. The host ensured we had everything we needed and was available for us to contact at anytime. N/a

- SallyB (8/5): Great location and lovely, well appointed apartment. - The location of the apartment was great. Quick and easy to walk into the town centre, and close to the Wine Tram, restaurants and shops.
- Murray (10/5): -
- Lance (9/5): Lovely, exactly what we needed! - The venue was lovely and central, very accessible location to get into town. It also felt very safe with a gate and locks on each door. It was nice to have access to so many amenities too! The lockbox was quite rusted, it was hard to get access to the keys
- Philp (4/5): Quite pleasant - The stay was not bad at all...main issue was no key on arrival and then the sliding door key was not given to us the next day as promised..so no access to the courtyard as it was a warm weekend and we couldn't open the sliding doors for fresh air...but other than that ok...oh and no tea...but thankyou for the lovely wine 😀
- Peter (7/5): Nice apartment - Quaint apartment in a handy location a couple of minutes walk from the Main Street . Easy to find and nice accommodation . Only downside is there’s no safe for storing valuables.
- Audine (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay suited us perfectly due to the location as we attended a wedding nearby. The apartment was comfortable & we were grateful for the tea & coffee available. We loved the unusual bathroom setting with a garden courtyard!
- Jana (9/5): Stay in Franschhoek - The apartment had everything you need, even for a longer stay. It is very private and the little terrace is a nice add on.
- Michael (10/5): What an absolute delight. Not what we were expecting, with all our needs catered for. - Perfect location, short walk to the Wine Tram station and shopping.
- Brendan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (9/5): Perfect pad for discovering Franschhoek - Superb location on the edge of town. Just a 10min walk.
Very convenient for the Wine Tram and pick and pay.
Well furnished and equipped Thoughtful provision- including Nespresso machine.
Thoughtful provision of wine, coffee and snacks.
24 hour security on main gate.
Small outdoor seething area to rear
Just a 3km jog to parkrun.
There is a parking space if you had car. No dislikes.
- Alison (4/5): Could be cleaner - The first impressions were good, and the apartment had a homely feel.
The owner left complimentary treats such as biscuits, popcorn, coffee & sweet wine, which we thought was a lovely gesture.
The location for the wine tram was excellent.
The shower worked well. The internet wasn't working when we arrived, so we had to contact the owner several times, which is not easy or cheap without wifi! Eventually, at lunchtime the following day, he sent someone out to check on it and then contacted his service provider in order to fix it. We had wifi later that evening.
The dim lighting throughout was an issue as my partner couldn't see to shave. When we opened all of the curtains to the apartment in the daylight, we could now see that the white bed linen was not so white, and the whole apartment looked very tired & grimy. Filthy kitchen cupboards, dusty lighting & cockroach!
The patio door to the outside seating area had very little security. It was just bolted at the top, so anyone could gain access by lifting the door off the rails.
Bed was uncomfortable. All lumps & bumps, but some lumps are possibly the controls from the electric blanket left on there. Also, when you look up from the bed, there is a gap in the edge of the ceiling where the roofing insulation material can be seen. Just poor workmanship that needs finishing off properly.
Air-con was very noisy, very old and not very efficient.
- Jane (10/5): Perfect location for the Wine Tram - It was extremely convenient for the wine tram, pick n’ pay and walking into Franschhoek. Quirkily decorated with everything you needed and a little bit of outdoor space to sit in. It was very good value.
- Michelle (10/5): Fabulous, would I stay here again, yes, yes, yes. - Very clear directions for location and key pick-up. These hosts thought of everything, the very welcome wine and milk in fridge, snacks, the toiletries in the bathroom, so many little touches. The laminated card with wifi code. The book shelves, beautiful room and bathroom. The gorgeous courtyard garden, which was most exceptional at night, beautiful sky at night. The well equipped kitchen, plenty of glasses and crockery, cutlery. (Currently staying in a more expensive place with 2 cups/plates/knives/forks etc and the worlds smallest fridge!). This truly felt like a home from home, we loved it here. In particular the “Bath” room. Just wow… Nothing, it’s a beautifully decorated apartment, gorgeous sitting room, fabulous bed/bedroom, great shower room, gorgeous “Bath” room and the lovely garden, this place is pretty close to perfect.
- Willem (10/5): Pleasant surprise - Absolutely loved every thing about the apartment Nothing
- Admin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emelda (10/5): Totally loved the stay and warmly recommend it to all and sundry 😁 - It was the cleanest holiday accommodation I’d stayed in. Extremely conveniently situated. Was more than adequately equipped. Loved the many thoughtful touches - cotton buds, matching dressing gowns, etc. loved the homeliness. Biggest surprises were the beautiful bathroom and pretty courtyard. Nothing. Loved all of it.
- Sherryn (9/5): Convenient, comfortable and great value for money - Everything we needed. Cody, Comfortable and quaint. Fully equipped kitchen with great appliances. Perfectly located in the town, walking distance to everything. Bed was super comfortable and we slept like babies. The only thing was there was no adapter for the hairdryer- it had a round two pin plug that didn’t fit any of the wall sockets or other two pin adapters. Not a huge deal though as I had brought my own hairdryer.
- Stephanie (10/5): Will be back - Spacious, comfortable bed and linen, everything you need I only discovered the little extra room with the bath and outdoor area later by coincidence when I opened the curtains… lovely outdoor area
- Julian (9/5): Very satisfied. I would recommend it. - It was spacious, thoughtfully decorated. The bed was comfortable. There was a sweet little veranda. All in all, it was more than I had expected. There was some confusion in finding the correct apartment, as it had a different name to the one advertised. There were no direct outlets for the cell phone cords. It was not clear which wireless network was the one associated with the apartment.
- Quintin (10/5): Exceptional - Well situated and decore was great . Very comftable
- Wendy (10/5): Extravagant, abundant comfort - Everything about this place was a hidden gem. It is one of the most reasonably priced places in Franschhoek, but the attention to detail is immaculate. From the rugs to the art to the bath with a view and private, quiet courtyard, to the location and treats: perfection. I would like to express our gratitude to the hosts. It was a stay that felt saturated in care and joy. Nothing...
- Jim (8/5): Perfect base to tour Franschoek, go to wine farms, restaurants etc - Its a great place, very close to the Wine tram station, and Franschoek Cellars, the Wine Tram reception is about a 100m walk if that. Has no view to talk of , shower drain , drains very slow.
- Nikola (10/5): Lovely, convenient, friendly stay. - It had everything needed, was clean, light and felt friendly. Unexpected back room with lovely view, fabulous bath and sunshine :-)
