Staff/hosts were very welcoming, friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
Great value for money. Couldn't watch breakfast TV.
Couldn't stay longer

- Lucy (10/5): Great! - Clean tidy everything you need for a stay long or short Nothing. It is dated compared to somewhere like Haven but it’s pretty much exactly the same just a bit older. Perfectly fine

- Sara (9/5): Lovely peaceful location - Quiet peaceful location. Lots of space for kids to run and play games safely. Welcome gift much appreciated. Campsite cat and chicken came to visit lots which children loved
- Allen (9/5): We will be back 100%!! - The property was beautiful. In person it was even more lovely than the pictures! The location was soo peaceful and it was lovely to see our children playing with other children who were camping there. The friendly chicken and cat made the stay extra special for the kids Only negatives the internet was really slow (couldn’t watch Netflix for the kids) and it was hot at night, could do with a fan or two.
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (4/5): Very poor. - Good location. No power on arrival until an hour later. Landlord had been drinking (His words) and didn't take my first call to turn power on. We had to throw food out as it had spoiled as fridge never got cold enough. No welcome pack, no tea towels and decking and caravan was filthy with a dirty ash tray on patio table. Clearly hadn't been cleaned or checked by landlord. Almost felt like we weren't expected.
- Clemmie (8/5): Quiet and perfect for the purpose of our trip - Very informative, we had all the instructions needed prior to arrival
- Waseem (10/5): Really good - Very good cabins with all necessary things Quality of mattress not good

- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Very oldi worldie nice and quite after hard day racing very clean and everything you need for self catering. Nice little touch with the bottle of wine and cookies on arrival 😋 Nothing

- Debbie (9/5): Had a lovely three nights and amazing value for money. - Location was ideal for us to visit family nearby but also some of the beautiful locations nearby.
The Cabin had everything we needed and was clean and in lovely quiet picturesque area.
The hosts were excellent at giving us information prior to travelling that we needed but also checking when we arrived we had everything we needed. Also answered a question we had promptly. N/A
- Jagadish (10/5): A cosy, peaceful cottage with clean rooms and great outdoor dining, perfect for family time. - We had a lovely stay at this very cosy cottage. My child absolutely loved it! The living hall was a good size, perfect for spending quality family time together. The weather was great during our visit, so we enjoyed having our dinner outside – it was a lovely dining experience in the fresh air.
The location is very quiet and peaceful, making it a relaxing getaway. We found the property easily, and it’s conveniently accessible from the M5. One of the highlights was the evening walk we took right in front of the cottage, where there’s a public access path – a perfect way to end the day.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sadia (10/5): Friendly staff, comfy stay and an excellent view. -
- Alison (8/5): Very good - lovely setting, it was a good base for visiting attractions all were in quite close to get to, and nice and close to the motorway. Added bonus was the beautiful weather we had N/A
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Frazer (10/5): Exceptional - What a brilliant place to stay .the host couldn't have been more accommodating. will definitely return
- Syed07 (9/5): Superb - Calm and peaceful location. Great place to stay with family. Loved the open area outside. Everything we needed to stay was present in the cabin. The host was courteous, helpful and caring.
- Neykova (4/5): Disappointing - A nice and spacious cabin, with lots of amenities. There was a BBQ available, all necessary cutlery and crockery, even some movies and board games. The location is great, very quiet and beautiful area. The cleanliness was not great. Lots of dust and spiderwebs everywhere. The bath was clogged and there was hair in the drain from the previous occupants. Not much cleaning equipment left such as dishwashing liquid, sponges or even a multipurpose cleaner.
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
- Lynda (9/5): Visiting friends locally - Great location , very peaceful N/A
- Sacha (8/5): Very good -
- Lander (9/5): Superb -
- Phylicia (6/5): Nice - Great location of the cabin, lovely shower and nice touch with the DVD's. A little more space to move round the cabin, a little more info on where the keys are on arrival and maybe an information sheet on useful things to do in the area and surrounding area
- Dean (8/5): Very nice lovely owners and very well run - Peaceful clean good location very friendly
- Liam (9/5): Perfect for what we needed. The hosts were very helpful. Would stay again if I’m in the area. -
- Sushmita (8/5): Very good - Lovely location and surrounding areas, easy access for everything we need. Great family holiday cabin with great facilities and secured. Tor was wonderful and very helpful. Kids really enjoyed the place especially playing with the chickens. Loved every bit of it. Thank you 😊 None
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the chalet, the random chickens and animals popping in. Nothing
- Mark (10/5): Great owner, left us with some local cider and apple juice which was a nice touch. - Comfortable and clean lovely quiet site.
- Kelly (4/5): Rather disappointed with cabin but nice location and site - The location was very close to where we had come down to visit. The site itself was quite pretty and the welcome hamper was a lovely thought. The cleanliness which was rather disappointing after reading the reviews saying it was deep cleaned after each stay. The cutlery and drawer were very dirty, there was a lot of dust on the shelves in the double room, so much hair in the shower plug hole, chewing gum over the double bed, dirt up the radiator and the list goes on.
- Peter (8/5): We were attending a family wedding reception at Duvall priory and the cabins were excellent and served their purpose wel - Very quiet and clean This is absolutely not a complaint. But there were no DVD’s or games. No welcome pack with instructions on what was local or the WiFi and PIN code for the tv. The TV did not work (No proper router). Fortunately we had booked two cabins and got the WiFi info and TV code from their welcome pack. But it still would not connect to wireless. I phoned the owner and mentioned this and he said to switch off and then back on again. He was on his own as his partner was in hospital and he was looking after her 5 children etc., etc., Where we wish her a speedy recovery and hope he coped ok, having booked a cabin that they had only had for a few weeks and being told that he was sorry but there were still areas that needed to be attended too, it didn’t help us as it rained most of the time and we didn’t bring anything with just as on the website it stated dvd’s games tv in the cabin. He did offer to come and take a look at the TV, but we were only staying two nights and this was our second day. Having said all that, it was a minor hiccup. Maybe a follow up phone call 30 mins later or to come to the cabin to check if all was working would have appreciated. The site was very peaceful and the cabin exceptionally clean with a lovely owner. would I stay there again YES!
- Carolyn (9/5): Superb - Peaceful location. Enough room for the 5 of us. Lovely woodland decor. Relying on previous occupants to clean is a little unprofessional. We did find items that hadn't made it to the rubbish bin.
- Moore (8/5): Very good - Lovely quiet location within easy reach of M5 and about 30 mins from the coast.
Very friendly hosts.
Parking, private garden area and decking. Just a shame we couldn’t use it due to some very wet weather!
Very good value for money considering it was May half-term/bank holiday.
- Nicola (10/5): Hidden piece of heaven on earth! - Hidden piece of heaven on earth. The site is in a rural area, but not far from all the requirements for shopping, tourist sites etc.. Shambala cabin was spacious, clean & comfortable, more than you get in the more modern ones. Equipped well and the little extras (a toilet roll, towels tea towel, sponge, washing up liquid, shower gel, hand wash) really makes life easy for the start of a stay. The little gifts left for a nibble and quench your thirst is a lovely touch too. Booking was easy and regular communication from Tor & Laura, before/during stay is great. Nothing
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about the place and the cabin was amazing.
- Richard (7/5): Good -
- Jean (7/5): Brilliant value for money - Brilliant value for money. Liked the fire pit
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -

- Emyr (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lloyd (10/5): Great hosts very helpful -
- Kerstin (9/5): Superb -
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (9/5): Great stay. Already planning next visit. - Location was great. Not a busy area. Very quiet.
Lovely cabin which met expectations. Catered for all 3 children. Lovely little touches with the wine and shortbreads. Definitely stay again.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): Great stay, great host. Everything you want and need from a place to stay - Great place. Easy to find. Awesome owners attentive and happy to do all they can. Everything you want and need from a cabin. Great heating, one of the best boilers on the market. Secure gate. Even had a pizza cutter!! Which you don’t often have at places. Possibly the oven being electric and not gas could be better. If some of the apps on the tv was signed in on a joint site account so we didn’t have to do it. A security light on the gate to open the lock be easier than getting torch out.
- Graham (5/5): It was adequate for our needs. - Ease of access. Privacy. Location. Peace and quiet. Excellent shower Issues with heating. Intermittent internet. Very soft single beds.
- Dermoy (7/5): Good - Quite off grid quaint but quirky great shower good facilities kitchen and more The gate
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. It was the perfect place to stay.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karl (10/5): Peaceful and perfect. - Lovely cabin in s fantastic location. Just far enough from town to feel remote. As a former local it was great to use as a base to see family and friends
Campsite was great for the kids and well maintained. It also felt very secure
- Claire (10/5): Fantastic place very quiet and picturesque - Cabin was lovely loads of space inside and out. Had everything we needed.
- Paul (10/5): Quiet campsite, clean and tidy, had a great time. - The cabin was great with own bbq to use. Location was great for both coast lines. Room for kids to play great fun. Nothing
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Bonnie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catarina (8/5): Very good -
- Syed (8/5): Family stay in Postwood Gardens - Cabin Shambala - May 2023 - The location was really nice/peaceful and easy to get to. It is about 3 miles from Collumpton and M5, making it easy to get around a large area of Devon and Cornwall.
The cabin had the right amount of room for the 5 of us to move around comfortably as well as having our own rooms for some personal space.
Tor was always available at the end of the phone and close by to help with any issues that we may have, as well as offering advice on places to visit. Paignton Zoo was amazing. Nothing that comes to mind. Maybe it needs a couple of bits in the kitchen, like oven gloves, to get hot dishes out of oven; otherwise, it was fairly well equipped.
- Sharon (9/5): Beauitful site and lovely caravan, great communication, fresh eggs and bottles of wine and juice at arrival made us feel - there was such a great care and attention to details and the campsite is beautiful and very quiet it’s a bit dated and few things missing in the kitchen but still very good value for money
- Geethu (9/5): Superb - we liked the cabin because of it’s location and ambience! it is surrounded by beautiful woods and camping site! very peaceful and suitable for a weekend getaway. The host was amazing and so welcoming. we were given welcome drinks and a pack of eggs!! everything was available in the property for a family such as cooking utensils, towels, hair dryer, flat iron , TV, DVDs, board games , baby cot, high chair etc. We are so happy and satisfied and looking forward to book this property again.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Radek (9/5): Superb -
- Philippa (10/5): We cannot wait to go back! - We loved everything about our stay and shambala stay. the owners are lovely and we were so relaxed. It was central to everywhere we needed. The fact we had to leave 😔
- Stuart (8/5): Very good - Lovely, spacious cabin. Plenty to keep the kids entertained for a couple of days. Tor and Laura are lovely, amiable hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. A nice welcome hamper was much appreciated by us all.
The location was pretty quiet, we were only woken by a noisy owl!
- Irene (9/5): Superb -
- Chelsea (7/5): Good -
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts are lovely, it’s a very comfy, very peaceful place to be
- James (8/5): Very good -
