The problem was with booking.com allowing us to tick the box for room with breakfast but it not being the case when getting the villa. This apparently is a frequently complained about issue regarding booking.com. It was not accommodation managers problem. Booking.com need to rectity but wont as many other travellers online have claimed.

The pool is alsk very nice. The restaurant was delicious and affordable. Communication with the staff was easy. Everybody was helpful and friendly. The snorkeling trip was perfect and the price was very good.

Terima Kasih 🙌🏼 - Si vous cherchez un petit coin de paradis à Sekotong, ne cherchez plus : le Krysna Bungalow est tout simplement une pépite ✨ Nous pouvons dire sans hésiter que c’est le meilleur hôtel de la région et nous le recommandons à 1000 % ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été touchés par l’accueil incroyablement chaleureux de toute l’équipe. Leur gentillesse, leur prévenance et leur disponibilité ont vraiment fait toute la différence. Un immense merci à Wayan, Irfan, Soubali ainsi qu’à notre guide pour l’excursion vous avez rendu notre séjour inoubliable 💛 La piscine face à la mer est un vrai rêve : quoi de mieux qu’un plongeon matinal avec cette vue avant de partir explorer les environs ? Justement, l’hôtel propose des excursions parfaitement organisées, notamment vers les Secrets Gili et plusieurs quatre autres îles. Nous avons passé une journée absolument magique, entre eaux turquoise et moments incroyables à nager avec des tortues 🐢 Côté confort, rien à redire : l’hôtel est impeccable, les chambres sont spacieuses, très propres, avec une excellente douche et une bonne pression (ce qui fait toujours plaisir après une journée d’aventure !). Et que dire du restaurant délicieux ! Nous nous sommes régalés à chaque repas. En résumé, tout était parfait. • Romi (10/5): - Wat een heerlijk rustige plek met mooi uitzicht. Ook het bijbehorende restaurant is erg goed en het personeel ontzettend vriendelijk. We komen graag nog eens terug! De kamer decoratie zou beter kunnen: er mist een nachtkastje en bijvoorbeeld bedlampjes. Ook de badkamer is gedateerd maar werkt voldoende. Het heeft ons verblijf niet verstoord.

Notre bungalow donnait sur la piscine avec la mer en contrebas. Magnifique. De quoi apprecier le sunrise le matin. Le staff était adorable, les activités proposées très bien organisées. Nous avons mangé le meilleur poisson grillé de notre séjour préparé par notre captain lors du trip snorkeling sur les Gili Gede, Asahan, Layar. Extra ! RAS

They wanted that we have an unforgettable holiday and we had. Do not miss the watch the sunrise in the morning and also the moon rise in the evening. Go to Gilli Island, take a driver and go to the mountains to get an unforgettable view and in the evening watch the sun set on another beach. All was fine

The location of our rooms immediately in front of the pool and the sea, with the view across the bay to Mount Rinjani in the distance - lovely, peaceful and tranquil. I was concerned there could be traffic noise to disturb one's sleep because the rooms back on to the road. In fact - no problem. The bathroom is a solid long block between the sleeping room and the road. This acts as a sound barrier - and sleeping is no problem.

• Rahel (9/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer was sehr schön ist. Auch der Pool ist schön und wir gut gepflegt. Man hat einen wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang. Wir haben unseren kurzen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das ganze Team ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Auch der Kaffe am Morgen traff genau unseren Geschmack, Espresso Latte. Das Team führt auch Ausflüge durch zu den verschiedenen kleinen Inseln. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, super zum mit dem Roller zu erkunden. Das Zimmer ist einfach eingerichtet aber für uns völlig ausreichend. Klima funktionierte einwandfrei. Gleich gegenüber der Unterkunft ist ein Kiosk. Ansonsten hat es nicht sehr viel.

We promised them to come back some day and we mean it :) Hot water, especially water pressure, can be challenging, but we manage everything :)

L'humidité et l'odeur de moisissure, une petite rénovation de la salle de bain. Avant et pendant notre séjour il a beaucoup plu ce qui fait que l'eau ruisselante des collines a rendu la mer brouillée, sans ce problème l'endroit doit ressembler à un petit paradis.

• Juliette (5/5): - The location is good as we are close to the Secret Gilis, and the hotel can organise day trips, which we were unable to do due to bad weather. We were disappointed with the room for the price we paid and the high reviews online. There was only 1 socket and one bedside table and the bed sheets were paper thin and the bed was not comfortable. Only one small bar of soap for the bathroom. The breakfast, bathroom and room were very basic (which is fine) but it did not warrant the price we paid.

There are motorbikes to rent out at the hotel, great food, breakfast, and a phenomenal view of the bay, the other islands and part of Lombok. We brought some concerns about the garbage on the ocean and the manager was very open to talk about it and explain what's happening in the island. Very quiet area - great to rest. All the garbage on the beach and ocean. Apparently this only happens during the rainy season. And they tried their best to clean and maintain it the best they could even though they cannot control everything that is going on in the island. There aren't many things around (shops, restaurants) but at least the hotel has the kitchen always open. Grateful for that.

Disponibili per noleggio scooter e tour in barca per le secret gili. Comodo il servizio colazione e ristorazione, anche se potrebbero aumentarne la qualità. La camera potrebbe essere migliorata, soprattutto dal punto di vista strutturale. In particolare, il bagno!

• Diana (9/5): Great waterfront bungalows - I had a very nice, peaceful stay in the deluxe bungalow. The room has everything you need and is clean. It faces out to the sea. There is a pool right outside your door. The bungalows provide trips directly to the three islands or four islands, which are nearby. Talking... The breakfast is very good. The only issue is no hot water in the room. There was lukewarm water, but not hot. Other than that, it was all perfect.

• Sebastien (9/5): - L emplacement proche des gilis secrètes, la location de scooter pour visiter la région (3 € par jour) comme Tirtagangga, Belongas... Le personnel était très accueillant avec notamment Wayan qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils pour les visites et nous a organisé le retour sur Bali. Nous vous conseillons les sorties avec le bateau de l hôtel et le capitaine Gili qui est génial qui nous a envoyés pêcher et plonger plusieurs fois pendant la semaine (50 € la journée pour 4 avec thon grillé au feu de bois le midi). Très bon restaurant avec des prix corrects 3€ le palt en moyenne). Nous avons eu du mal à quitter ce lieu calme et l équipe du Krisna qui était adorable. Merci Wayan ! Il manquait des moustiquaires au dessus des lits à notre arrivée mais l équipe nous en a installé dès le lendemain

• Lishan (10/5): Cried When I Had To Leave - I had a wonderful 4-night stay at Krisna Bungalows and Restaurant in Sekotong. The Balinese team (both Wayans, Komang and Nyoman) were incredibly warm, helpful and genuine, and the whole place feels very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable with air-conditioning, and all have hot water. The bungalows are right by the sea, so you can snorkel straight from the beach. I also borrowed their canoe and paddled to Gili Nanggu—about 45 minutes each way, a great experience. Their Four Island Tour was excellent, with beautiful corals, colourful fish, many turtles, and a delicious barbecue lunch. There’s also a nearby dive shop if you want to scuba dive. The surrounding Balinese community is friendly, with kids playing on the beach and good fishing right from the shore—I caught several fish myself. The restaurant has tasty local and Western options, and breakfast is available. Don’t forget to say hi to their cute tortie cat, Kripik. Sekotong is peaceful and beautiful, and Krisna Bungalows is a perfect base if you’re heading to the Gilis. I happened to be there during Galungan and Kuningan, and the penjors along the streets were lovely. Highly recommend staying here for relaxed nature, great snorkeling, and truly caring hosts.

• Richard (10/5): Beautiful and peaceful place with great service - Very nice cabins in traditional style at the edge of the beach. They are quite simple, but with all major facilities you need. The owner Wayan and his staff are very helpful with arranging things. Whether it's trips, transport or small practicalities. Even on the day of balengur festival he arranged a driver to bring me to the airport. It's lokated in a more quiet area of Lombok, which I liked. but don't expect bars or many restaurants. Nothing to dislike about Krisna Bungalows itself. But there are few facilities around. Just a couple of mini-shops. There is a little village but that is almost 100% residential. You need a scooter to get somewhere.

Frühstück Standard, fruit juices mit Wasser verdünnt. Meer sehr schmutzig, Abwässer fließen rein, viel Müll schwimmt rum. Sogar beim Schnorcheln bei den Inseln immer wieder Müllteppiche

• Cristina (7/5): Buena atención, pero con varios aspectos mejorables - El alojamiento está dividido en tres zonas separadas, a las que se accede caminando por la playa, cada una con su propia piscina. La zona más económica tiene habitaciones bastante justas; merece la pena pagar un poco más y alojarse en las casitas frente al mar, que son mucho más cómodas. En la parte económica no hay agua caliente y, en algunos casos, mis compañeras incluso se quedaron sin agua. En cambio, en las casitas frente al mar no tuvimos ese problema, aunque la presión del agua era baja (algo que para nosotras no fue un inconveniente). No nos dejaron botellas de agua de bienvenida ni nos cambiaron las toallas durante los tres días de estancia; debido a la humedad, no se secaban bien y acababan con olor. En los alrededores no hay mucho: un warung y un pequeño supermercado justo enfrente. El restaurante del hotel ofrece comida correcta pero con poca variedad, y después de unos días se hace repetitivo. En el lado positivo, los precios de los tours están bien y el trato del personal fue siempre muy amable y cercano. También nos gestionaron los traslados de ida y vuelta al hotel a un precio razonable El desayuno es muy justo, sin fruta y con poca variedad. Durante el día el ruido de la carretera es bastante fuerte e incómodo, aunque por la noche se está tranquilo; eso sí, el tráfico empieza muy temprano. La playa justo enfrente del hotel no invita a bañarse, está bastante sucia.

• Patrick (8/5): Rundum eine super Unterkunft direkt am Meer, dass Personal und Essen waren super! - Die Lage für einen Besuch zu den Secret Gilis ist perfekt. Man kann direkt Ausflüge buchen und hat super Ansprechpartner. Das Bad hat Renovierungsbedarf!
• peter (8/5): - De goede zorgen van het personeel en de boot trip naar de eilanden.En de locatie is aan de zee. Het viel in het begin wat tegen. Het comfort is geen luxe maar het bovenstaande maakte veel goed. We hadden nog overwogen nog langer te blijven.

• lidia (8/5): - Está muy bien el tour que hacen a las Gili secret. Está bien para pasar una noche o dos. En el restaurante se come muy bien y son muy amables!
• Tina (8/5): Für 1-2 Nächte vollkommen OK - Für eine Nacht war die Unterkunft super. Ich wurde freundlich empfangen und das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Mein Zimmer war basic, aber sauber und hatte sogar eine kleine Terrasse. Die Unterkunft erstreckt sich über 3-4 Grundstücke entlang des Strandes. Offenbar sind die Zimmerkategorien nach Grundstücken aufgeteilt. Der kleine Pool war praktisch, da der Strand kein Badestrand ist. Leider war das Wasser völlig überchlort. Ich hatte ein Mittagessen sowie das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen in dem dazugehörigen Restaurant. Beides war einwandfrei. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Landstraße und man hört den Verkehr die ganze Nacht lang. Für eine Nacht ok, aber länger hätte ich aufgrund des Verkehrslärms nicht bleiben wollen.
