Guest Reviews
- Valerie (9/5): - Lovely property and good location for both Carrickfergus and for the train station for visiting elsewhere.
- Malcolm (7/5): Covered what we needed - Overall the house was lovely, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. Location was perfect and central. False Advertisement on Add, “Entire Place is yours” which isn’t true. We booked as a family due to attending a funeral & were shocked when we learned the extra room was being advertised for booking. If we knew this we wouldn’t have booked as we were anxious about someone random turning up during our stay.
Secondly the bathroom needs some attention/upgrading. The cleanliness of the 1 bathroom for a 4 bedroom “shared” accommodation falls extremely short. Definitely let’s the property down!
- Rory (8/5): - The room was very nice and quaint… it was clean and well kept
Towels were provided in a neat manner on the bed and the overall experience was lovely The property had no faults so there was nothing I didn’t like
- Rezene (10/5): - Very nice and clean! All was good just the upstairs long walk to get floor 4
- T (7/5): Roof over you head and comfy bed - Got the top room even though the property was empty. Would be good to have a bin in the room
- Archer (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): -
- barry (10/5): - Easy self check in, comfortable room, clean all round.

- Tien (10/5): - The host is very enthusiastic and always willing to help with any questions you have. The accommodation is really comfortable, and if you’re planning a holiday, this is a wonderful place to stay
- Abbie (8/5): - Clean and comfortable It wasn't clear that it wasn't the entire house to rent
- Briggs (5/5): - Close to Carrickfergus Centre. Nice kitchen and sitting area downstairs. I guess the level of room was reflected in the price. Efficient remote checking-in system. Bedroom was very small and there was poor soundproofing between rooms and floors - creaky stairs and we heard lots of running water from the bathroom upstairs. Bed was adequate but no more.
- Helen (10/5): -
- Jacqueline (7/5): Correct place to stay in Carrickfergus - - the bed was comfortable and room has enough place
- the good location from the city center
- place to park the car in the street but better arrive early - the bathroom wasn't clean as there were hair from previous users, the room was dusty
- the bedroom drapes didn't come down completely
- Christopher (8/5): All round very satisfactory. - Central, clean and good value for money. Had a lovely bath too which was great. I’ve lived in Scandinavia for 20 yrs now (baths are rare there) so having a bath was a luxury. Everything was fine.
- Eileen (10/5): -
- Yann (3/5): Itchy, noisy and uncomfortable - Huge TV Wooden floor was very creaky, small stairs space, 10 people to share 1 bathroom, bed has bed bugs, kitchen couldn’t fit in 3 persons.
- Renata (1/5): Bad - Stay away from this place at all costs. THIS IS A WORST PLACE I HAVE STAYED WITHIN ALL MY BOOKING.COM EXPERIENCE AND ACROSS ALL COUNTRIES. No parking, dangerous surroundings, house itself old, and with a disgusting smell, as probably people smoking inside. Dirty and filthy everywhere. We literally run away 7.30 out of the house, without using any faculties except the bed over night. The stairs making so much noise, that you're awake all night, from people walking up and down. You could hear everything. PLEASE, do yourself a favour, save your money. We booked last minute, paid 109£ for absolute most disappointing stay. I will also report this to booking.com so other travelling won't be ripped for nothing. Stay away from this place at all costs. - Raivo (9/5): Superb -
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Ajao (9/5): Our stay experience was really good and I would recommend this place to anyone I know thinking of exploring Belfast - The property was so beautiful and clean Some guests came on Saturday night and was disturbing the whole house which was infuriating because my husband had to call order before they stopped
- Nichola (8/5): Very good - Was great location and bed was so so comfortable, lovely big heavy blanket if you were cold, 2 bath towels provided, all cooking essentials, microwave, oven etc. Cupboards were emaculate. Only thing I didn't like was the code to get into the room, everytime you went to toilet was annoying, lock be much easier but understand some people probably loose the keys.
- Gary (10/5): Fantastic, Local, very very comfortable Beds - Hi The Location was excellent very central & very close to all services shops restaurants, The property is lovely very well maintained & Spacious,
We will return next year to this property as we were extremely pleased with it, Nothing
- Anne1371 (2/5): Very poor - Room looked nice The smell we didnt stay long as the smell when we went in was either damp or weed other bedroom doors open,it felt more like a student house did send a message to the owner but no reply
- Roderick (9/5): Nice place, will be back - Great location, very comfortable Lot of stairs
- Y (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet and clean place
The owner was very cooperative to help Nothing
- Joseph (1/5): Not an accurate description of this property. - Plafe was somewhat clean, although bathroom was untidy. Nothing about this property that I liked, I have walking issues so I use a walking stick, I couldn't get up to the allocated room as it was on top floor also 1 bathroom and it was two flights down, so we had to pay way over the odds for alternative accommodation. Also main door was not locked on arrival.
- Tara (10/5): Exceptional - It was beautiful and glad our first booking got cancelled it's a very beautiful place
- Laura (10/5): Good central location - Good central location. Clean. Well equipped for your stay. Shops, bars, take aways etc within walking distance.
- Rizvi (8/5): Very good - Location n clean n furnished Back yard
- Dombi (9/5): Superb -
- Gerard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daryl (10/5): Very pleased with my choice. Very pleasing stay. -
- Liz (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely little home from home. Would certainly recommend and if ever up this way again would stay here
- Leśniakiewicz (9/5): Superb - There just one issue. Parking. I came very łatę and Was dark. Was just one parking spot on the street. I havent seen my one wheel is on yellow line. So i got penalty. Its my fault but this good if its next visitors know that
- Derek (10/5): Perfect. Clean & tidy. Great location/ safe and value for the money - Fantastic location.
Peaceful and quiet.
Safe and ample parking.
Large room, bathroom and facilities.
Friendly and very helpful staff.
Definitely recommend and will be back in the future.
Great value for money too. :)) N!A
- Linda (7/5): Good - We had cereal and milk and a cup of tea but was not sure if we were eating someone else’s food. The bathroom needs a better clean, dust in the corners and a bath mat would be good and hand towel for personal use after washing hands.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bonita (6/5): See comments - Comfy bed. Clean. Location great Difficult to use small key safe (I have 1). No mention that the toilet is downstairs. No mention that the there a number pad to door. Did not feel safe. No window in the room at top of 2 flights stairs. There were smoke detectors. No cup/glass. No small kettle
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Warm, comfortable, and cosy. Had everything that was needed
- Glenn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derek (7/5): Good -
- Iziegbe (9/5): It was so comfortable and very welcoming. - I stayed for a short while, but I will also recommend it for a long stay. Lovely and comfortable place. The heating was going off and on but there was someone on standby to help turn it on when it goes off.
- Edita (9/5): Superb - Comfy bed, clean room... very fast replies to my questions (exceptional communication) On-street parking with not too much spaces
- Fadash (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberly (8/5): Very good - It's a really nice and comfortable place to stay. There is everything you could need. Mitchell is really nice and responds quickly when you write to him. He also provided breakfast, snacks and two cans of beer.
- Ruth (10/5): Excellent, generous hosts and very comfortable. Thank you. Thank you. - The house is spotless and finished to a high spec - everything looks brand new. There is a lovely open plan sitting room/ dining room and adjacent well equipped kitchen. We were left m&s choice of cereals, bread, milk, biscuits, fresh orange juice, tea and coffee, butter, ham and cheese so the value was exceptional. There was even oat milk available. The towels and bedding felt luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. The house is well situated being central in the town and near the bay, and there was plenty of local street parking. Nothing
- Harun (10/5): Perfect - We were thoroughly impressed with this accommodation – the best we’ve stayed at on our tour around Ireland! The value for money is unbeatable, and the amenities truly exceeded our expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing us with a restful night. Check-in was easy and flexible thanks to the key box, making arrival smooth and stress-free. The free parking right on-site was a huge bonus. Special mention goes to the friendly staff or owners who made us feel very welcome. Everything here was just perfect!
