Guest Reviews
- Liam (1/5): bad - Bed was terribly uncomfortable, floors were covered in dirt, smelled of mildew, shower terrible, no wifi. We requested a refund but host did not answer, so we paid for a different hotel. Place looked nothing like the pictures.
- Rebecca (5/5): Quite disappointed. We reached out to our host on 4 occasions to ask for assistance and she did not reply to any of our - The property was not exactly as pictured and expected based off the photos presented. There was lots of different pieces of furniture. We did not feel like it was very clean. There were lots of stains on the carpets, beds, linen. The apartment in the photos depicts that there is a lot of natural light, there is not. We felt like it was constantly dark, with multiple bulbs missing from the lamps and light shades making them unable to be used. There were no working air conditioners or cooling units in the house. There was also no hot water in the shower.
- Sofia (9/5): Superb - We had a great stay and the apartment is in a great location. Very clean and has everything you need! The beds are not comfortable.
- Ibrahim (7/5): Good -
- Audrey (6/5): Friendly manager - The location was ideal Had a lot of trouble with the front door key
Didn’t seem to be as bright and clean as shown
- Angelico (5/5): Passable - Large facility Ancient design and furniture
- Natalie (5/5): Only a short walk to the centre, quiet area for sleeping, lovely Italian rustic interior and very spacious however it la - Lovely interior, rustic Italian decoration, quiet location, comfortable furnishings No working WiFi, no fridge or coffee/tea making facilities, no cups or plates etc
- Alexandra (8/5): Very good - Old building and place, has its own charm. Good location. No wifi. The bathroom needs some renovations.
- Pille (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - Great little apartment, good place to base yourself when in Florence.
- Edgar (10/5): Exceptional - Location is just great, and hosts are one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. The apartment itself is in an old building, giving very rustic feeling.
- Gordon (9/5): Superb - A lovely feel to the apartment and tastefully finished.
Felt a very relaxed place to spend time when not out on the streets.
- Jen (7/5): Good -
- Cristina (9/5): Great value for money - The apartment was very nice, with a historical vibe, very close to Santa Croce square- 5 min walking and 15 min from Piazza della Signoria. We weren't aware for the fact that in Florence there are two types of numbers: reds are for shops. It was a bit confusing to find the address but we figure it out.
- Mario (10/5): Great atmosphere - the interiors
- Matěj (7/5): Good - Very rustic feel to a stay in Florence. Very good location and very affordable. Bed isn't very comfortable when staying for a longer time and the apartment is darker than pictures show
- Vita (8/5): pleasant stay in a prime location - Medieval flair, feeling of a history. Good bathroom and very nice bed. Difficult to contact the host, especially if something doesnt work. The telephone contact didnt work. We could not start a gas cooker. Your own matches are needed, so we had to go out to find them.
- Steffen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luke (4/5): Convenient location at a substandard accommodation - Convenient location and check in. The pictures online were misleading making the apartment appear more appealing than it was (better lighting, potentially renovated). The reality was quite different, poor lighting, an odd dingy smell, thin ceiling (which allowed us to hear the neighbor’s TV until early in the morning), stiff and thin mattresses, an outdated bathroom with a flimsy/poor fitting door. In our two week trip this was the most disappointing accommodation.
- Aleczandra (7/5): Good stay for the money - I liked the proximity to the centre of the city. The apartment is very close to all major touristic locations in the down town, so makes it easy to walk everywhere.
I got the code for the key wrong and called the host, she was more than happy to help which was great. The neighbours were absolutely horrible. I assume because the building is quite old, the walls are quite thin and we could hear everything. Their TV, them walking, baby running around their apartment, someone fixing some metal thing (that made an awful noise) at 11pm... We had a hard time falling asleep, one night we manage to fall asleep at 2am when they decided to turn off their TV
- Luca (7/5): Good -
