• Kim (9/5): Great location and cute apartment - The location was excellent, 1 min away from Sao Bento metro station, 2 min away from Sao Bento train station (where you can take a train to Aveiro, Braga or Guimaraes for a day trip). Walking down to the riverside takes less than 10 min and there are restaurants and mini markets everywhere. The apartment is at the center of the center but not overwhelmingly busy. There are always pedestrians passing by on the street but the apartment was quiet (good soundproofing). The apartment was spacious, clean and cute. AC and wifi working well and bed was comfortable. There is no elevator but we were on the 2nd floor so it was ok. Joana was very friendly and helpful, messaging us before we arrived to provide all information needed. We could message her from 10am to 8pm and she was very responsive. The hot water tank was not too big so hot water will run out after about 15 min. The 2nd person would need to wait for about 30-45 min after the first shower to have enough hot water to be refilled.
• Leanne (8/5): Excellent stay. On the doorstep to everything. - Brilliant location, clean and spacious. All amenities. Host was very friendly and informative and easy to get hold of. The stairs 😂 although it was good exercise. A little nosey at night but it is on one of the main streets. No coffee pods.

Lovely apartment with a balcony over a busy street, but shut the doors and no noise came through. Aircon to keep us comfortable when doors were shut, and very effective blackout shutters. Epic shower. Joana is a lovely host, super helpful and gave good recommendations for restaurants. No negatives, everything was great.

• Anna (9/5): Fantastische ligging, fijne host, echt een aanrader! - De locatie was fantastisch, midden in de stad. Je kan overal te voet heen. Het appartement was schoon en voelde nieuw. De host dacht ontzettend goed met ons mee en gaf veel tips! Er kwam één ochtend alleen maar koud water uit de douche. Een paar uur later was het water weer warm, daarna dit probleem niet meer gehad.

The bed was comfortable and the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. She answered any questions we had before the trip, made sure everything was ok once we arrived and had great suggestions for restaurants and parking. Small apartment but it was fine for two people and if you are not planning on spending a lot of time there.
• marcin.kolwas (9/5): Fajny odpoczynek w miejscu ze świetną lokalizacją - Fajny apartament ze świetną lokalizacją. Byliśmy w czasie sylwestra. Dzięki dogodnej lokalizacji mieliśmy wszędzie blisko, łatwa komunikacja z lotniska (metro dosłownie 100m od apartamentu, pociąg 250 metrów). Apartament wyposażony we wszystko co potrzeba do komfortowego odpoczynku. Bardzo blisko do restauracji oraz kawiarni (100m od wejścia do budynku) z bardzo szeroką ofertą. Opiekun bardzo kontaktowy i mega pomocny. Nie było większych problemów.
• OscarFr (8/5): Porto, ciudad con encanto. - La ubicación del apartamento, a dos pasos de la estacion de San Bento, es inmejorable. Buena insonorización de las instalaciones, aunque la calle es bulliciosa no se escucha nada en el interior del apartamento. La ducha es algo incomoda, sobre todo al utilizar el dispensador de gel. Otro detalle negativo es que en 3 días no te cambien las toallas y no pregunten si necesitas algo.
• Sifra (9/5): Comfortabel appartement op toplocatie - Perfecte locatie en appartement van alle faciliteiten voorzien. Airco werkt heel goed. Steile gladde trap naar de bovenverdieping waar nog meer bedden zijn. Wees je er ook van bewust dat je meerdere trappen op moet naar het appartement en er geen lift is.

• JINGWEN (9/5): A cozy place in the centre of Porto - It is clean and centrally located. Conformable bed. Shower and toilets were functioning well. Communications and recommendation from the host. It is a bit noise in the morning when the worker come to collect rubbish bin on street (for a short period of time). I had my earplug in so not a problem. … and the staircase …
• David (7/5): Really good. - I really liked the location. Nice to be in a busy / vibrant neighbourhood. The property management lady was extremely helpful with all aspects of my stay. Top notch. I was on the top floor with no lift and a heavy bag. I didn't know that when booking but wasn't suprised either. It was an old building and someone had to stay on the top floor :( It may have influenced my accomodation selection. That being said it was still a really nice stay.

• Patricia (9/5): Gerne wieder! - Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein. Das Apartment ist modern und einladend eingerichtet. Die Fenster lassen keinen Lärm rein und lassen sich komplett abdunkeln. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, wenn auch viel zu schmal. Das einzige was uns gestört hat, waren die schmalen Betten (70cm/Person)
• Dennis (10/5): Wonderful quiet cozy apartment - Joana was very helpful, always reachable. Apartment had all we needed and if it didn’t Joana made sure we got it. Very clean and a great location. Very quiet even though right in the heart of things. Can’t really say we didn’t like but beware there are quite a few steps up the the apartment. We got used to them quickly and it became part of our daily workout to work off all the wonderful treats we were enjoying!

• Octavian (8/5): Centrally located, rather cramped duplex in Porto - Very centrally located (on a main pedestrian street in the center of Porto). Kind and helpful owner. Apartment is a small duplex in an attic on the 4th floor - 2 of the beds are accessible only via a steep ladder (not stairs). Windows not well insulated so noise from the street below can be heard even late at night. Cleanliness could be better (e.g. we found wrappers under the beds and the windows were extremely dirty). Tiny kitchen and very limited kitchen utensils.

• Ric (10/5): Excellent - Excellent location. Flores is a busy street and it can be noisy but on the inside of the apartment there was no noise when the heavy duty double pane windows were closed. I was surprised and being a very light sleeper, I had no problem sleeping here. I liked being able to stand on the balcony and watching people wander by or listening to a busker. Nothing really, very satisfied with the apartment and the location.

Recomendable - Alojamiento muy acogedor, en un lugar excepcional y con un trato por parte de la anfitriona inmejorable. Era un último piso sin ascensor y las escaleras para subir a la buhardilla pueden resultar difíciles para niños pequeños.

Camere ampie, letto comodissimo e la sera la via, nonostante sia centrale, e' silenziosa. Angolo cottura ben attrezzato per chi volesse cucinare o fare colazione a casa (anche se la via è piena di bar e ristoranti). Unica precisazione: non c'è l'ascensore e le scale sono strette: per chi ha passeggini o difficoltà a deambulare potrebbe essere scomodo.

The accommodation is over a shop on a busy street but the sound insulation in the apartment is so good you wouldn't know you were in the city centre. The location is probably the best in Porto, it is so close to the metro and within easy walking distance of all the attractions. The is nothing we didn't like.

Thank you for the awesome stay. - The apartment was very central in old town in a very lovely street - even it was hot, the air conditioning worked very well. It was clean and functional. Joana was very friendly and gave a lot of tips. We got access early in the morning with no extra charges and could leave the lugguage in the doorhall after check-out to enjoy a last breakast without discomfort. A shower shelf would be nice, but nothing worth mentioning.

• Monica (10/5): Highly recommend! - Joana was one of our greatest finds in Porto!! Warm, friendly, and communicative, she gave great recommendations on what to do and explore as a local. The apartment is very cosy with two separate sleeping spaces for two friends who need their own quiet sleep comfort. Well equipped kitchen with everything you will need. Location is unbeatable - you are in the middle of everything interesting, 10-15 mins walking distance to the main sights Due to it being a historical building, there is no elevator. It would be challenging for those with heavy luggage. We found it a great exercise to get ourselves hungry for the amazing food outside :)

Comfortable. 4th floor property so stair climbing skills are required. But still ok. Very noisy from street noise late night every night.Bums/drunks fighting and yelling constantly once tourists disappear.

• Helga (8/5): Just a nice little flat – good for two people in a good location - Location is the best part of this flat, it is very good and near to the subway - so easy to get from/to the airport. Also restaurants all around the place - short walk every were but this is Porto ;-) Good touch to have sound proof windows since live street music it is quite common on this street. We knew about the stairs, but we were at 3rd floor and after a long day of walking up and down all the Porto hills it is a little much. But it is not a problem if you are in a normal condition.

The mezzanine with the extra beds had its own air conditioning which was great and we didn’t hear any sound from the street at night. Up a lot of steep stairs so not suitable if you have any mobility issues. I enjoyed the exercise.

Next, the location - we could walk to all the places we want to go from the apartment. Sao Bento station is just a stone’s throw away. While located on a busy shopping street, we were not disturbed by the noise even when we were in the first floor. Bathroom is modern and spacious. Kitchenette is well-equipped. Nothing. Maybe the taxi cannot drop you off at the doorstep since it is a pedestrian only street. We were directed to drop off at the corner which is less than 50m away.

The metro/train station are also within a short distance to the property for those wishing to venture further afield. The one small annoyance was the bed base was in need of repair/replacement.
• Roni (9/5): Superb - Perfect central location, yet quiet! The apartment is lovely, very comfy bed. Everything was clean and modern The bathroom could be a bit more "inviting", just a little touch of decorating. But it didn't effect how I enjoyed my stay there :)
• Emilia (10/5): Exceptional - EVERYTHING. Joana is a wonderful, helpful, sunny, welcoming person, words are not enough to describe her. She has fulfilled every our wish. She explained us how to get around and reach the main attractions, leaving us guides and maps for the city. I will return to Porto in a month and I hope to find the structure bookable again. The location is located in the city centre so it is very easy to move around. Highly recommended. .
• Chris (10/5): Would not hesitate in recommending this apartment, right in the heart of a great area of Porto. - Convenient location, music coming up from the street was fantastic. Everything was easily accessible, trains, buses, restaurants, shopping. Really helpful information from Joana in getting to the apartment. Train rather than an expensive taxi. Joana was a fabulous host, nothing too much trouble, thankyou, greatly appreciated.
