Gerald (8/5): Great accomodation in a massive hotel - There is definitely a lot of space. The room was spacious. Nice abd cozy pool area. The size and the space comes with a price. You must not be afraid of walking a few meters. And you are not in the center. Availability of taxis and tuk-tuk’s covers for that.
VINCENT (5/5): Be carefull - Zwembad Oud hotel , dringend renoveren. De rekening bij het uitchecken was fout . Na de rechtzetting ging het weer fout . In plaats van 1500000 kip ( $70 ) liet men mij 1500 dollar betalen .

Hans (4/5): Nice place, but lack of professionalism in service. - We liked the large rooms, even fitted with a hottub! The beautiful garden/park and the location itself was nice and peaceful. The breakfast had a lot of choice. Nice tasty bread, perfect for westerners. It also features some Chinese, Thai and Lao cousine. The separate Chinese restaurant of the hotel, was amazing and had a lot of choice, and good tables, which also includes an outdoor area for every room ( I believe they have around 12 rooms or so) that each fits 4 tables. The rooms weren't so clean, the showerhead was leaking and the rain shower was covered in dirty lime. I ordered a pizza through their room service app, and I specifically mentioned to not put any olives in it. 45 Minutes later the pizza arrived, and covered with olives. I didn't want to make a super big issue to the girl who brought it, as it wasn't her fault. I requested a refund for 1 pizza (as I order a lot more during my stay), thinking it wouldn't be a big issue for them during my checkout. The staff at the reception, told me I had to pay, and that they couldn't reach the manager. I told the reception, I will write a honesty review about this, and I believe that a prestigious hotel like the Landmark should always have a manager onsite. This is unprofessional, and I won't come back to this hotel anymore. In order to enjoy French cheese for breakfast, you have to be there between 05:30-06:00 as I found out that when this was gone by 07:00, they don't keep adding it for guests who arrive at the breakfast later.

Sascha (4/5): Schlecht. Wir hätten am liebsten das Hotel gewechselt, allerdings hatten wir bereits bezahlt. - Die Lage ist super und das Personal war freundlich. Das Hotel ist kein 5 Sterne Hotel! Alles ist sehr abgenutzt und es riecht unangenehm. Im Restaurant beim Frühstück war an der Decke auch Schimmel zu sehen. Unfassbar, dass dieses Hotel als 5 Sterne Hotel angeboten wird. Das Hotel braucht dringend eine Renovierung- es gibt in Vientiane genug andere gute Hotels. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt hier leider überhaupt nicht. Was auch nicht zu einem 5 Sterne Hotel passt, dass Wasser vom Zimmer ist kostenpflichtig, eine absolute Frechheit.

Rooms are not cleaned or serviced daily and when you request it to be cleaned, they lie and say they already cleaned it when clearly not. When they actually clean the room, they forget to refill ammenities. You have to request for this multiple times before they come

Pictures of Barack Obama, Jill Biden and Chinese ministers so this is the hotel used when dignatories visit Laos. Very nice breakfast, vast pool, lots of staff but very few other guests

Chinese restaurant and some facilities. The staff are noisy at the important locations such as gym. The roads are not good, should be more beautiful with granite lining. During the road repair, there are no roods to the hotel lobby, the one must climb up the mountain to reach to the hotel lobby The roads have no signed for the driver. Need to ask the watchman for the way.

Service is upscale classy. Drinks and foods are great. Hotel gardens are wonderful. Mosquito at the pool area. Need beach towel for the pool area. Cats out in the outdoor dining. I’m afraid of Cats. I wold like to be able to eat outdoor to enjoy your beautiful facility.

Amanda (10/5): Definitely Share Drinks with Savang - The hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing. The only down side is how it is rather far from center and you have to get a cab to go places. The staff was very helpful in getting cabs for you but it would have been nice to walk around ourselves. Savang is also an amazing bartender and staff in the hotel’s bar restaurant lounge. My husband and I loved talking with him. Also, the Chinese restaurant is delicious and the Lao massages are to die for. we miss that the most and will definitely be back! Our balcony door had a broken latch and didn’t close all the way. We didn’t see there was a gap in the door until the next morning. That meant mosquitoes had gotten in our room and we were covered in mosquito bites. We fixed the problem the following day but that first night was rough!

The breakfast was amazing. And the help from the greeters and staff was amazing! We will be back. I give the staff 10 stars I Cant find anything to not like about this place!
