• RileyJay (8/5): Epic place to say, great price if split between two or three, location is prime. - Epic spot if you ski and board. On the run, not too high up that you need an uber to get around as there is a few more places higher up the hill and would be awesome for skiing out of but not close to food or town. This is the perfect mix. Would stay here again ! Staff were great. Can’t beat the spot! Dryer is very bad at drying clothes haha

• Andrew (1/5): Filthy/Dirty, lack of communication and possible dangerous situation - The street was icy and inaccessible for the car to get up, it is a dangers situation which was not stated anywhere when booking. looking at reviews there had previously been a crash with a car sliding down so it was a known issue. There for we could not access the parking on property. We called the reception 5 times in 10 minutes with no answer or call back. We had to walk up the steep hill covered in snow and ice to get there. Mind you we could easily drive on other hills just as steep. This is a maintenance issue. The property itself was not signed properly so had some confusion. The receptionist had a cold attitude. walking into the reception it was smelly and outdated in a dirty way. We asked what we should do about the parking and our baggage, her response was well the cars parked somewhere so that's fine and baggage we need to bring up by hand ourselves. We got the keys to the room, they made us wear communal slippers that did not look clean, the hallway to the rooms was covered in stains everywhere. The room itself had stains all over the carpet, walls and stairs and some even on the bed sheets and couch! The beds were small and hard, the stove top had not been maintained and there were cracks all over the walls. we walked out immediately to find another place to stay as it was getting late. Went back the next day to get a refund. The lady at reception told us the manager would be back in 15-20 minutes. we waited 30 before going back to the desk just to be informed that he HAD been back and left again. She said "you can call him on our phone" so we awkwardly did, just to be told to look at booking.com as the refund was coming in. Was very unprofessional with communication and wasted our time. We found a much cleaner and nicer place for the same price that was also ski in ski out.

• Xavier (8/5): Very great location, friendly staff and very cosy. - I like how it was so close to the mountain slope easy access for skiers and snowboarders. The free shuttle was very useful to and from happo one station the heaters were easy to use it was very spacious. I also liked the outside area with the fire. The beds were a bit hard and the sewage smell on the bathrooms

• Dog (8/5): - Overall, we had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The hotel is located right above the ski slope, and the access road leading up to the property is very steep. For guests who drive, the road can become extremely slippery and potentially dangerous, especially in icy conditions. We experienced an accident where another car slid and hit our vehicle, causing scratches. During this situation, Mr. Shuto, the manager, was extremely helpful and professional. Even though we did not use the shuttle service, he assisted us by calling the police, helping with communication between different parties, and offering to arrange towing for the other damaged vehicle. His support truly went above and beyond and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Inside the hotel, the overall bed and common area experience was very comfortable. The hotel provides a drying room for ski gear and washing machines, which are very convenient for ski travelers. Overall, this hotel is a good option for a ski-focused stay. However, guests planning to drive should be especially cautious due to the steep and slippery access road. .
• J (7/5): No frills but super convenient ski in ski out location - Ski in ski out location on Toomi slope of Hakuba Goryu was very convenient - great for families with young skiers. Free laundry (washer and dryer), drying room for boots. Shuto-san the manager was very proactive to help fix problems (eg clogged toilet and loose kitchen tap). He was also up early to drive the snowplough after a snowstorm so we could walk and drive out. They will clear garbage and change towels upon request. 5 min walk from Yamaha ski rental which has a discount for guests, also walking distance to restaurants. Facilities are old and dated, small and uncomfortable beds, hard flat pillows, towels rather worn. Kitchen is small and basic.

• Carol (10/5): Charming lodging, great location and excellent service! - Shuto the hotel manager went above and beyond to help us with a number requests eg. Bringing us to the supermarket to get groceries and waiting for us, sending us to nearby restaurant, dropping us off at bus terminal when we missed our shuttle bus. He also was very nice to offer us sparklers during Christmas and my kids really had fun! Overall service was very personable and we enjoyed our stay for 5 nights. Location is great , just next to the gondola, ski in ski out. Overall the hotel had a very old charming feel. Room appliances are very dated and need upgrading. Mattress can be softer and I would recommend to add a few wall mirrors in the room. Currently, only one small mirror in the bathroom. This lodging has a lot of potential but needs quite a bit of upgrading.

• riki (5/5): 家族で旅行の際の宿が無かったところでようやく見つけることができた宿でした、厳しい事を書いてしまいましたがそれも含めて思い出になったので感謝しています、ありがとうございました！ - 外国人のスタッフの方が一生懸命に駐車場の場所などの対応してくれていました 部屋の鍵が壊れていて内側からはかけれますが外からかけようとした際に回りませんでした、ちょっとした外出の際にこれは少し不安なので改善していただきたいです。 また、恐らく以前利用していた方がタバコを吸うためなのか分かりませんが、リビングルームの火災報知器全体がスーパーのお惣菜のラップで包まれていました。 衛生面でも少し気にしていただけるともう少し気持ちよく利用ができると思います。
• 理加 (3/5): コンドミニアムを語るなら不衛生すぎる。寝るだけならあり。 - 値段相応、もしくは以下でした。 白馬の中では安く選びましたが残念な結果でした。 ・不手際でタオルがなかった。何度も管理人に連絡したが連絡つかず、近くの銭湯に行くことにした。 ・部屋の電球が切れていてこまった。上記したように連絡が取れず困った。 ・清掃が行き届いていないのか至る所にゴミや前の客の痕跡があった。 ・フロント脇のゴミ置き場が、ゴミ置き場の匂いがして悪臭がした。 ・キッチン周りやコップなど不衛生さがあり、使うものを控えた。使い古したスポンジがあったが、何を洗った後か分からず、使用は控えた。
• MIYUKI (2/5): お風呂は入れません - 部屋が比較的広い キッチンがついている お湯が全く出ずシャワーすらできなかった 他の部屋との兼ね合いのせいか水もお湯もコントロールできないです お湯を出していても水が出たりキッチンの蛇口も壊れており、管理人は夜不在なので電話で確認したらお湯を出したままで良いと言われ、そのまま滞在中放置だった

• Liezel (10/5): We had a wonderful stay! - We were collected by shuttle at the train station. The host, Shuto, was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The accommodation is right on the ski slope. There were no ATM's near the accommodation. The closest ATM is a 30 minute walk away. The bathroom had a really bad smell.
• imogen (10/5): Amazing! Great staff and great location! - It was amazing access to the snow resort with lifts just a quick 3 minute walk. Staff were amazing and catered all of our needs and helped us as much as possible. We were so happy with this stay, we hope to be back soon. Shuto is amazing!

• Ken Ho (10/5): Amazing location and great service - Shuto was a great host and is willinging to go out of his way to assist with lifts to the long term car park as our 2wd vehicle was unable to access the parking. Had great recommendations on food and onsen, plus the daily shuttle to the supermarket was very useful to get supplies especially when road conditions were difficult. The ski and ski out location is amazing and will definately stay again in the future.
• Adam (3/5): Had a great time but expected better rooms and service for the price - Position fantastic Dated. Smell of cigarette smoke throughout. Beds too hard. Poor communications from owners re whereabouts of delivered ski bag. Had to go to delivery service in town to check it had been delivered which it had and wasn’t notified at check in nor on messages on booking app to hotel. Also booked van to take us to Escal plaza for 10am on check out day but driver did not show up by 10.10am and tried to call him but no answer.

• Kate (1/5): I wouldn’t recommend staying here - Bedroom heating unit was good Location good for access to green slope at goryu My partner and I booked this hotel for a 5 night stay with the allure of the incredible slope side location, unfortunately due to the following issues, location aside, we won’t be returning nor would we recommend to friends The issues were: - kerosene heater in main foyer room, on 80 percent of the time with confronting fume scent when entering hotel. It made our group anxious about carbon monoxide poisoning given the lack of adequate ventilation - On check in, piles of rubbish throughout reception gave us a sinking feeling about general upkeep - Extremely dated interior with run down appearance, many stains on carpets throughout our room. The wall was also cracked throughout - Generally stale odour in room prompting us to keep the window open despite the sub 0 temp outside - “Kitchen” very underequipped and a part of the stove was even held together by a bandaid! - Skylight without blind wouldn’t necessarily be an issue if it wasn’t for the adjacent night skiing lights which are on until late - Very hard and uncomfortable mattress and pillows, we could feel the springs

• Kathy (8/5): Great Spot for snowboarding - So great being right there next to the chair lift and gondola. Rooms are dated but very clean! Only a few restaurants around to get by foot, but we made do for our 4 nights.

No facilities, the smell from the tube in your room is disgusting. The male staff is bad in English. A very steep slope at the entrance, it's slippery.
