• newiza (9/5): Prioritise your tenants - The place was exactly the same as shown on the pictures and it had a beautiful ocean view, not far from the ocean, the house can accommodate more than six people The agent responsible for the flat is always not available whether is telephonical or via WhatsApp , we had to figure other things on our own. She always respond late or never respond at all. It made our stay a little bit difficult

• Neo (5/5): - We liked the view I recently had the opportunity to stay at 17 Serene Simbithi Penthouse Oasis from 13-17 of November , and I would like to share my thoughts on the experience. The property itself was quite pleasant, and our accommodations were exactly as depicted in the photographs. The view from the balcony was particularly enjoyable. However, it is important to note that there were additional charges that were not clearly communicated at the time of booking. We were unexpectedly required to pay an extra 4,440 rands, including a demand for R450 per person to access the property, which was not disclosed in the initial booking details. Moreover, I encountered issues with the host regarding noise complaints. Despite the policy stating no noise from 8 AM to 10 PM, I received a phone call on the morning of November 14, 2025, at 7 AM. The host insisted that we pay R3,000 for alleged disturbances made after midnight, claiming that security had visited our room multiple times. In reality, security approached us only once at 9 pm 13 November 2025 and we had retired for the evening shortly thereafter. Regrettably, the host's demeanor was quite rude, which significantly impacted our overall experience. In conclusion, while 17 Serene Simbithi Penthouse Oasis has potential, the lack of transparency regarding fees and the host's behavior detracted from what could have been an enjoyable stay. I would recommend future guests to clarify all charges upfront to avoid similar issues.

• Heidi (7/5): The property is beautiful with all amenities however the hosting left a bit to be desired. - The property is beautiful and easy to access, close to the beach and with a stunning view of the ocean. When we checked in just after 15h00 there was no electricity and were only told upon enquiry that there was loadshedding. We went out and came back after 18h00 and the electricity had still not come back. It only came back just before 22h00 and it was clearly not loadshedding but an outage that the host did not inform us about to enable us to better plan our time. We were also provided with the wrong WIFI details on the check-in link that we were given, which was also a bit frustrating.
• Romona (9/5): Family stay - Kirsty and her attentiveness...we had a busy weekend and she was always on time with access codes and answering my questions...loved Judy the cleaner ...the welcome gift was a lovely touch The AC in all the rooms needs some attention
• Scharie (8/5): Very good - View, jacuzzi, spa bath a special treat. Everything needed was supplied Requesting access codes for a daily visitor. Limited privacy on the large balcony
• Beverley (5/5): The accommodation was good, the housekeeping sucked, people becareful of false advertsing aircons? - It took too long for us to get access codes into the estate. We felt like we were in a fancy jail. The welcome centre is not opened on a Sunday. We were disappointed that the aircon remotes were hidden away from us even though the property advertised aircons, we had to threaten to cancel our reservation then the remotes were given to us the next day. The facilities were not clean, the kitchen and bedroom cupboards were dirty, the stove was filthy, the couches were stinking sour this brings it down to poor housekeeping. The carpet in the main bedroom smelt of toe jam (dirty feet)
