• Christine (10/5): Relaxing stay with exceptional hospitality - Nadia made us feel as if we were at home. Stunning views and walks. We were within close driving distance of Hondarribia and beach. Attention to detail so we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our 10-day stay. We didn't want to leave! Very doggy friendly! Loved San Sebastian too! Nothing except we had some rainy weather!

• Laura (10/5): Fantastico!!!! - La casa es recién reestructuranda con toda la eficiencia energética y acabados de calidad. Completa de todos los detalles y confort. Buenas vistas y buena ubicación. Entraron en la casa la barbacoa y durante un par de dias aparecieron unos bichito que habían aletargado dentro y que con el calor de la calefacción empezaron a salir. Nadia fue muy proactiva y nos resolvió el problema.

• Andra (9/5): Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-) - In erster Linie hat uns Nadia gefallen. Sie ist als Gastgeberin ein ganz besonderer Mensch, voller Empathie und Rücksichtnahme mit einem wundervollen Sinn für Humor. Auf unsere Extrawünsche (größeres Zimmer mit einer Waschmaschine) ist sie flexibel eingegangen und zur Begrüßung gab es einen baskischen Wein auf der großzügigen Terrasse die einen wundervollen Blick auf die in der Tiefe liegenden Bucht frei gibt. Die Möglichkeit auf der Terasse den Sonnenauf- und Sonnenuntergang zu genießen, nur mit den Geräuschen der Natur, ist unbeschreiblich schön. Daneben gab es ein gut funktionierendes W-lan, eine voll eingerichtete Küche und ein großzügiges Badezimmer in dem Handtücher und Pflegeprodukte vorhanden waren. Naja und hätte etwas gefehlt, dann sind wir uns sicher, dass eine sms an Nadia gereicht hätte und es wäre uns gebracht worden. Insofern absolut wundervoll!!!! Ganz herzlichen Dank, Nadia :-) Wir konnten wunderbar in deinem Ferienappartment entspannen. Ohne Auto ist das Haus sicherlich nur schwer zu erreichen. Es führt ein schmaler, kurviger Weg dorthin, was natürlich auch den besonderen Charme dieses Ortes, am Berghang mit Blick auf die Bucht von Hondarribia, ausmacht. Es bedeutet aber auch, dass bei jeder Gang in die Stadt oder an die Bucht, das Auto (hauseigener Parkplatz vorhanden) genommen werden muss. Das perfekt klimaneutrale Haus, hat dadurch leider einen winzigen Nachteil: wenn das Wetter einen Aufenthalt auf der herrlich gemütlichen Terrasse nicht zulässt, und man innerhalb der Wohnung bleiben muss, dann sind die vorhandenen Fenster (wenn man sitz, natürlich nicht, wenn man am Fenster steht) nicht geeignet, um die fantastische Aussicht zu genießen. Leider darf auch die Türe nicht mit einer Glasscheibe ausgestattet werden (klimaneutral) um verstärkt Licht einzulassen. Dafür ist die Luft innerhalb des Gebäudes jedoch jederzeit erfrischend. Das zuletzt geschriebene ist wirklich "Jammern auf höchstem Niveu". Wir empfehlen Hondarribia, die Ferienwohnung und die Gastfreundschaft von Nadia auf jeden Fall für einen Aufenthalt!!! Wir kommen auch gerne wieder :-)
• Clive (10/5): A delightful modern, clean apartment - very comfortable and peaceful with a friendly host. - The apartment was recently built and beautifully put together with great attention to detail. It was very comfortable with excellent beds and had everything we needed. We were able to cook with the stovetop and microwave/grill. Nadia was a wonderful host - very friendly and informative. Parking was directly outside. The environment was very peaceful, located in the hills, but only a few minutes drive from the town.

• Reinhard (9/5): Ein Zuhause im Grünen - Gastgeberin Nadia hat an alles gedacht, was man in einer Ferienwohnung brauchen kann, begrüßt mit kleinen Geschenken und ist überdies sehr gastfreundlich, hilfreich und berät sehr gut. Das Haus liegt schön im Grünen für Spaziergänge/Wanderungen und nahe genug der sehr netten Stadt Hondarribia. Nichts.

• belen (10/5): RELAX EN MAYÚSCULAS - Es un lugar excepcional para unas vacaciones en familia. La casa está muy bien amueblada y equipada con todo lujo de detalles tanto en la cocina como en el baño. Las camas comodísimas. Los anfitriones son encantadores, te hacen sentir como en casa y nos obsequiaron a nuestra llegada con bebidas frías, dulces, café y té. Siempre están pendientes que no te falte de nada. Nadia te da buenos consejos como dónde comer o que visitar. La casa es de DIEZ pero la anfitriona es de VEINTE. Además hemos viajado con nuestra perrita y ha sido tan bien recibida como nosotros. Sin duda un lugar que recomendamos al 100%. Seguro que volveremos.
• Joan Miquel (9/5): Estancia excelente. - La atención de la anfitriona, limpieza impecable, muchos detalles para hacer la estancia cómoda, opción de barbacoa eléctrica en terraza, no faltaba nada. Espacio algo justo para dos personas, cocina algo pequeña, campana extractora de poco tiro.
• Albert Boada (10/5): Un lloc perfecte per fer vacances tranquil·les, però també actives si es vol. - La Nadia, la nostra amfitriona, és encantadora. Et posa les coses fàcils, sempre disposada a ajudar en tot allò que calgui. La casa està molt ben equipada, amb productes de qualitat. A més, està pensada amb criteris d'eficiència, està molt ben aïllada tant tèrmicament com acústica i realment es nota. L'allotjament es troba a molt pocs quilòmetres d'Hondarribia, però prou lluny com per estar tranquils i envoltats de natura. Vam poder portar el nostre gosset i així fer vacances tota la família. La última part de l'accés a la casa (600 m) és per una carretera estreta d'un sol carril, només cal anar a poc a poc per si ve un cotxe de cara. Hi ha llocs per apartar-se i deixar passar.

• Valesca (9/5): - Nadia was een super gastvrouw. Altijd ter beschikking zonder opdringerig te zijn. Je kon bij haar terecht voor alle info over de streek. Bij aankomst stond er een fles wijn, melk, fruitsap klaar. Heel gastvrij. In het huis ontbreekt niets. Je kan ook binnen 5 min rijden de electrische auto laden bij een restaurant. Is een snellader. We hebben ondanks het wat mindere weer een fantastische tijd gehad!! Een aanrader voor iedereen die het Baskenland wil ontdekken! Niets

• Val (10/5): Lovely and peaceful , walking trails all around and the local town was a 10 minute drive . France was a ten minute boat - The property had everything one needed and if there was anything one needed the host was on hand to help out, whether it was something big or small or directions to a nice restaurant, she did bookings for us for a vet for our dogs to booking a beautiful restaurant also gave us a lift so we didn’t have to find parking in town. Parking in the centre is limited but ample parking near the beach which is only a ten minute walk back to the beautiful centre.

Nadia was a fantastic hostess and helped with taxis, restaurants, even hiking poles as property is 5 minutes walk from Camino do Santiago Norte! Can’t say there was anything I didn’t like. Everything was great.

• Maja (10/5): Quiet for sleeping, well equipped, lots of fresh air and in the green - The hostess was very accommodating and gave us lots of good tips. The rooms were practical, super clean and nicely furnished. There were even a few little things in the fridge and some tomatoes from the garden. We felt comfortable and slept really well as the house is a passive house and has good air conditioning. If we visit the area again, we would be happy to stay with Nadia and her husband again.

• Janita (9/5): Very fine apartment in beautiful spot - An apartment in a lovely quiet spot, a place handled with enormous care. Nadia is super friendly and communication is easy. From the apartment there is a variety of things you can do: hiking, go to the beach, visit San Sebastian or Hondarribia etc.
• Nicolas (9/5): Superb - As a Basque myself I am not easy to impress with my own country because I am used to the wild stunning landscapes that surround us and the gastronomy and everything about our land. Bearing in mind that , Kostoenena is by far my favourite place to stay when in the Basque Country due to the privilege spot where it is located with an insane view of Hondarribia ,the spanish french border coastline and the genuine basque way of living that surrounds the house. Perfection. The house is stunning and comfortable, you can feel the love for the details in every corner and has everything that you need and much more. It is an old "caserio" rebuilt by the owners themselves with all the facilities , a big private terrace with sofas and barbecue that our dog enjoyed very much. We had a terrific stay not only because the location and the house are just perfect but because the owners were really easygoing and nice, they made the experience better with their recommendations. The place really has a soul ✨️
