Guest Reviews
- Waterman (9/5): Wonderful easter break in a lovely property - Lovely property. Very clean and comfortable Excellent location from the town and from the station. Didn't like the shower, on certain settings the temperature kept fluctuating. Decking in the garden was a bit uneven and cracking.
- Andre (9/5): Excellent, we hope to return - The property was perfect, ideal location near shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. The bed was comfortable and it was well equipped . No negative comments
- Marsha (7/5): It was a good location and size. - The location The lighting and size of bathroom.
- Renee (9/5): Enjoyed the city of Bath. The apartment and the little outdoor backyard was enjoyable. - Location and very comfortable. Wonderful beautiful apartment. Would stay there again.
Just for people’s information there are stairs that you need to go down to get to the apartment.
My friend and I did not have any problems navigating the stairs. Nothing
- John (8/5): Most pleasant - Location , space and lovely garden Leaving
- Natalie (10/5): Lovely centrally located apartment in Bath. - The apartment is beautiful and sunny. The sitting room over looks a pleasant little garden. It's so central and therefore a perfect location for exploring Bath. All the furniture was comfortable, especially the sofas. However, we were worried about the dinning room chairs that felt a little wobbly.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Rosy (8/5): We were happy and comfy in the classically Georgian house! - Excellent location
Microwave available
Spacious rooms
Having the garden was fun, with a nice outlook Shower was poor - Though the owners note there are plans to rectify this.
Limited saucepans

- Lisa JUSTINE (9/5): Great spot for exploring Bath - Superb location. Spacious accommodation. Lovely and warm and well equipped Could have done with a vacuum under the settee cushions! Was looking for an earing and it was not the best!
- Martin (9/5): Lovely stay in comfortable apartment with great location. - Fab central location, roomy, warm and comfortable apartment, well kitted out. -
- Rodney (8/5): It’s a really great place with a few little bugs that didn’t stop us from enjoying it. - The location was superb. Just mere steps from every main attraction in Bath. A real bonus is the private garden. Plus it’s only a 5 minute walk from the train station. The water pressure in the shower is almost non-existent and the floors are very uneven. To be fair this is a very old property and one shouldn’t expect everything to be perfect. It’s a beautiful place and the private garden is just beautiful. I
- Natalie (10/5): Lovely Ap in great location. - Very well equipped. Comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything we needed. Fabulous location. Would stay again.
- richard (9/5): Will be staying again - Position was excellent
Furnishing good quality Shower was ok
- Maria k (7/5): Nice apartment close to the river, shops and restaurants. - Great location.
Nice to have a garden & a bath.
- Allyson (8/5): -
- Simon (10/5): - Amazing location, very close to the shops, restaurants, cafes, public transport and local attractions! We had a great stay at the apartment.
- Deb (9/5): -
- Guneet (10/5): - It is a great place away from home for a family. Much better than a hotel.
- Patrick (10/5): -
- Alexander (10/5): -
- Jon (8/5): Enjoyable stay, will be back. - Good value clean and well appointed apartment.
- Shaelen (10/5): Lovely apartment right in the heart of Bath. - The property was well decorated and comfortable with an amazing location close to transit connections and most of the major sites in Bath. The property management was also great - when something broke at the property (nothing major), they fixed it right away. Nothing! We had a bit of trouble figuring out how to work the shower because we don’t have an electric shower at home but we did figure it out in the end.
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lori (9/5): Superb - Apt was very nice and more than large enough for 4 adults. Lots of space and the garden was a nice touch. Unfortunately there was lots of garbage on the street outside the main building entrance that made the place feel a little sketchy even though it was a great location. And we never figured out the shower!
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional - Charming old house with beautiful patio and yard. Not a big deal but key access was down a dark and steep-stepped basement, not great for women travelers.
- Deborah (8/5): Overall, a wonderful stay - The location is fantastic. So close to everything and just far enough away to be quiet. The style and cleanliness were top shelf, and the apartment got warm quickly when we needed it to. The water pressure in the shower is very weak. Also, due to the age of the building, some of the floors aren't level which was fine for me, but for my 81 year old mother, it was sometimes challenging.
- Linda (9/5): The apartment was a lovely enhancement to our stay in Bath. - The location was super; close to everything and lovely views out the back windows. The garden was so nice and private. We loved the apartment. It suited out needs well. A well supplied kitchen, and room for the granddaughter to crawl around in the sitting room. Getting in was a bit tricky, but it was more just us trying to figure out the directions. We were looking in the dark for the hall switch and lock box, but once found, all went well. We thought a crib was provided, but it wasn't; however, the host offered to drop one off for us. Communication was a bit delayed. Also, we weren't able to drop off luggage early, which would have saved us around 30 pounds.
- James (9/5): A superbly located area and great stay for a young family - The location was ideal, it was extremely suitable for our young family with 2 bedrooms and loads of space - everything was nearby and easy to get to from the apartment. Also there was a lift for buggies etc
- Maycel (10/5): Wonderful stay - Great location walkable to city center. The host, George, was responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment was beautifully decorated, cozy, and very clean. The garden is a great place to hang out which we did even if it was cold when we visited. None
- Russell (9/5): Sunny, garden apartment in perfect location. - Fantastic location, sunny garden apartment.
Parking nearby, as was the train/bus station.
Quiet, sunny. Great kitchen. Comfortable beds.
George was super responsive to all our needs.
One of our families best stays yet.
Very nice for two couples.
- Rachael (9/5): Comfortable clean and central - The location was excellent and within walking distance of all the city enter attractions. The apartment was well decorated and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.
- Katharine (10/5): A hidden gem! - Beautiful design and spacious, garden was great for a morning coffee in the sun, location is amazing. Would definitely stay here again. Nearby parking at Manvers Street
- Theresa (9/5): Great place for a short stay - Great location, roomy apartment Shower trickles
- Angela (7/5): A very spacious and well designed apartment in an excellent location but in need of up-dating. - The location was excellent. It was a very spacious apartment with a lot of character and tastefully decorated. The furniture and decor was very tired. All the backs of the dining room chairs were very loose but two were in danger of breaking so we didn't use them.
- Hancock (10/5): Would definitely go back again and recommend. - Our first time visiting bath and we absolutely loved it. The apartment was excellent, very clean, warm and a sense of home. Everything was in easy walking distance, which was great with children. We were also able to park in the overnight car park at the bottom of the road, which was good value.
- Robyn (8/5): Almost perfect. - Location was excellent. Lovely apartment, very tastefully furnished. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Only complaint was the shower which was hard to adjust to get a hot shower.
- Brenda (10/5): On our annual get together, we found this beautiful apartment good value for money with a well equipped apartment, - Very comfortable and Great location
- Janet (10/5): Superbly appointed apartment, exceptionally clean and great location - Location, decor, cleanliness
- Catriona (8/5): Very good -
- Joel (10/5): Lovely city centre apartment perfect for a girls weekend away - It’s central location and we enjoyed the outdoor terrace plus the games in the sitting room There was nothing at all we didn’t like
- Kev (9/5): Superb -
- Caetherine (10/5): Excellent - The host had thought about little things that would improve the stay. Even down to things like the door wedge or automatic lighting. The decor was lovely and the garden and the place was clean. It was excellent. The TV had a wide range of channels. Kitchen had all essential appliances and it was welcoming. We loved the alice in wonderland theme. Towels need to be bigger and more fluffy.
- Patricia (10/5): Most enjoyable. - Beautifully decorated. Clean. Well stocked kitchen.
Lovely garden. Weather good enough to sit outside late afternoon. It was all fine.
- Richard (8/5): Lovely place but provide proper bath towels, PLEASE! - Spacious. Comfortable beds. nice outdoor seating area. Location Small towels. Why do so many places have such small towels? What is the relative cost of providing what I think is referred to as ‘bath sheets’, something of a size that one can actually dry oneself on without ending up with something resembling a soggy flannel? Do people running rentals never go away and notice the same problem and then have a ‘lightbulb’ moment ?
Directions to the property could perhaps point people arriving by car to South Parade as a place to unload the car before moving onto a car park rather than North Parade which is in effect a massive bus stop!
- Stevie (7/5): Great location, lovely living room and kitchen. Otherwise needs a little bit of love. - The living room is great, it’s got a brilliant garden, the main bedroom is nicely furnished and the kitchen has a lot of light. Easy access and great location. The bathroom is in real need of attention. The shower hardly works at all and should be updated.
There’s a little bit of meanness apparent everything - small ancient towels with stains, just one dishwasher tablet and one solitary coffee pod between the four of us
- James (8/5): Nice location with a lovely garden - Location was great, just off the North Parade. Easy access to restaurants, shops, and sights. A short walk from the train station. Generally not too noisy. Loved the outside garden although we didn't get to use it much because of the weather. Bed wasn't very comfortable, sheets were too small and kept popping off. Microwave was impossible to figure out, you need to leave instructions on how to use it as the buttons weren't intuitive. Washer/dryer really only worked for a very small load and still took 3-4 hours to complete a wash/dry cycle. Note that it has only the one bathroom and it's nowhere near the bedrooms, it's down the hallway across from the dining table. It would have been nice to have been stocked with more than the 1/2 roll of toilet paper, I had to buy more on day 2!
- Steve (9/5): Excellent - Fantastic location
- Danielle (7/5): Good -
- D (8/5): Very good -
- Alexander (10/5): Normally book a hotel in Bath but this apartment was far better, more room and a private garden to relax in after a day - Superb location ,well maintained with lots of room and a garden to relax in , fantastic! Nothing
- Vivien (8/5): An 'easy', comfortable stay with grown-up family, a hidden gem, with a bonus garden. - Helpful and welcoming host, plenty of space for three of us, fantastic location, could walk the whole of Bath from here, 6 mins from the railway station, quiet and lovely bonus of a garden Just a few little extra touches, but that is being 'picky'. It was a really lovely place to stay.
- Liezel (9/5): Lovely stay, would highly recommend! - We liked the location, easy walking distance to the shops but quiet location. The garden was lovely! Very short walking distance from the nearest car park (Manvers street) which helps when you have luggage. Black out blinds would be amazing, the current Roman blinds in the bedrooms don’t block out the light enough.
- Jasonk (10/5): Perfect - Fabulous Georgian house with access to a patio area and a walled garden. 5 minutes walk to bars and restaurants, the river and a park. 10 minutes walk to all the attractions and shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. We'll fitted and equipped kitchen. Nothing all very good
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mashael (9/5): Excellent - • Host
• Internet
• Size of the apartment
• Providing two copies of keys • Old furniture
• Accepted Cleaning
- Stephen (9/5): A well placed and appointed property. - A well appointed unit with a back garden backing straight onto the river. Lovely location close to many of the attractions in Bath. Mattress in main bedroom needs attention.
- Neal (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (9/5): Perfect location, very comfortable apartment and all very easy to book and sort out keys - great location, and fabulous to have a garden to sit in on a warm spring evening Would have been good to have a few more glasses and plates
- Sarah (9/5): Fab weekend in the heart of Bath! - We loved the location and the decor, the outside space is also lovely. We would stay again in a heartbeat !
- Amy (9/5): Great stay! I recommend this apartment! - Awesome location! Convenient to everything. Comfortable living room and beds.
- Brian (9/5): It was a perfectly quaint apartment. A place I would stay in again. - Wonderfully decorated. Perfect location with outdoor area and view of the river. Wished we could have stayed longer.
- Kirsty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (10/5): A Wonderland - Beautiful back yard and amazing location, comfy beds and a nice shower! Nice sitting area and a full kitchen. Communication with host was easy and friendly Nothing I didn't like!
- Lesley (10/5): Exceptional - The location, beautiful apartment, cleanliness, very pleasant owner.
- Robinson (9/5): Loved the location, would come back in the summer to stay and use the outdoor area - Nice location that close to everything in Bath Township It was not clear that the place does not have any car access, and you needed to plan your arrival to ensure you can find parking in the area. So suggest there is better guidance on where to park to unload. etc...
Use South Parade Street to park and unload bags as this is a quiet dead-end street.
Best parking is the Manvers Street Car Park
- Caroline (10/5): Excellent, spacious apartment. Friendly helpful manager. - Location, quality & welcoming Nothing
- Mohammed (9/5): We enjoyed our brief stay at this apartment. - Great location. Close to train station, attractions, shops and restaurants. The apartment is well equipped. Good communication with the host. Very accommodating.
- Tiffiny (10/5): Fantastic location and beautifully decorated interior! - Check in was smooth with door clear instruction for door codes and retrieving keys from lock pad.
We appreciated having personal communication at every stage.
The location and decor of the flat could not be better!
- Karen (10/5): Lovely relaxing weekend, will definitely stay again when visiting Bath - train / bus station and the city centre all in easy walking distance Nothing
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Location
Well appointed and equipped Slightly cold even with the heating on
- Jonathan (10/5): Great stay in a fantastic apartment in a great location - Fantastic location, very close to everything in Bath.
Lovely apartment with all that you need for a stay.
