- Dariusz (1/5): Nightmare and more nightmare - There are two things that cannot be faulted: the beach is about 1 minute away and the internet is fast. Well, I will be as honest as possible when describing this accommodation. I'm a traveler and have extensive experience renting accommodations in various places. This one really disgusted me and my family. But from the beginning. As soon as I booked this place, I contacted the owner and told him I had family coming from abroad and we were going to spend a family vacation. When we got there, it looked like an abandoned squat. There was dirt and stains everywhere, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. We also had doubts about whether the bedding was fresh. I immediately informed the owner, but he told me the property needed renovation and that I could leave and he would refund my money. This was incredibly rude, as he knew I had family living abroad. Furthermore, the day before my arrival, he informed me that the shower handle was broken, which is a lie, as all the other people who rented this accommodation have been reporting the same thing in their feedback for months. This left us stranded and unfortunately unable to change accommodations at the last minute. It would create too much hassle, confusion, and likely a significant last-minute expense. Finally, I'll say this: the entire property is in a terrible state and requires a complete renovation. I think it's unacceptable to rent such a mess, but as you can see, the owner is very clever and puts people in a bind. Furthermore, there were numerous drug dealers visible on the premises, so it's not a safe place for adults, let alone spending time with a family with children. Avoid this place if you want to sleep soundly. I have some photos that I took right after entering the accommodation. I forgot to add that we had to clean the accommodation for 6 hours immediately after arrival to be able to exist there.
- Jacqui (1/5): Disappointing accommodation close to beach - Good location, spacious living area Nothing is luxurious about this accommodation. Broken shower so had to hold shower head with one hand to use shower cubicle. Notified owner of this but received no response. On the day of arrival I was notified the oven wasn’t working but air fryer was available, microwave and bbq. Pre-planned meals could not be used so wasted. No outdoor seating area as stated unless referring to two plastic chairs on the grass. Microwave dirty with food stuck to the insides and inner roof. Large circular stains on living room floor and hallway which look like possible dog urine stains. Large crack on corner of tv. Dog chewed tv remote with no backing. Attempted to address issues via a formal complaint on this platform but Booking, com stated that the owner was unreachable and to leave a review on how the accommodation was. Owners should be transparent about what is being offered.

- Hayley (7/5): Cute and cozy, with a stunning beach, just a shame about the weather. - Lovely little caravan, with everything you need for a stay. The arrival gift of a bottle of wine and a tin of biscuits was an added bonus. Having towels and bed linen was also an added bonus. We were made aware that the cooker wasn't working properly before we arrived, which wasn't a problem, as there is a single air fryer, but if people were staying longer than a weekend that would need to be sorted, as would the shower holder as that was also broken.
Unfortunately we couldn't get the heating to work and the tv lost signal from early Saturday morning. I messaged the host to see if there was anyway to sort it, and got no reply by 5pm, which was a shame as we packed up early and went home that evening instead of Sunday morning. The carpets need a good clean, or to be replaced as there were a couple of very large stains on them and they we're coming away from the kick steps that hold them in place.
Also be advised, although this is a dog friendly place, your fur babies are not allowed in any of the onsite facilities, so when its windy, cold and wet, there isn't really that much to do, which is was for our weekend.
All in all it was a lovely little caravan, just needs a little tlc to get the broken things fixed.
- Vicki (6/5): Disappointing birthday trip - Clean, near fish and chip shop, near beach. Dog friendly. 3 bedrooms. The advert suggests you can opt in to late check out up until midday and no mention of cost but when the owner got into contact before our stay they wanted to charge £10 per hour. They also admitted to a non functioning oven before we arrived.
The listing also states garden and sea view. Although, we were approximately 3 rows back from the sea, all we could see from the caravan were other caravans and the sea wall. There was no sea view until you walked up to and looked over the sea wall due to the height of the caravan park in relation to the sea.
It also said garden view with outdoor terrace and furniture which was in fact an uneven slab of concrete which had a rusty table and chair and the chair was broken so couldn't even be used. The lip to the concrete surface was also too high on/off of it so when I tried to use the allocated parking space for parking, I scrapped the underside of my car.
Furthermore, in relation to the non working oven - when we asked for the midday check out instead of 11am at no extra cost, their response was there was an air fryer. Limiting cooking facilities to this and a microwave meant I was limited what I could cook for my Mum on her birthday which was our reason for the visit.
In the caravan, various other things were stained or broken so left me feeling anxious that the owner of the caravan would try and say that we had caused the damage.
This included the metal shower holder which has snapped clean off and the other half of it was laying on the shelf in the bathroom before we even arrived so this would have been known about when they went in to do their checks/cleaning.
The TV itself had a crack on the top left hand side of the screen and when we arrived had no sound until I spent over an hour fiddling with the settings to get it working properly again.
There were 2 very obvious round stains on the living room and hallway floor.

- Mariusz (9/5): - The property is located near a lovely beach and features a well-equipped kitchen, and the owner is exceptionally pleasant and friendly. There is a small, somewhat worn table outside, accompanied by a few chairs that also appear to be showing their age.
- Enrico-b (8/5): A nice work stay - We always stay in St Osyth / Jaywick for some work in the summer, and regularly book in various caravans.
It's spacious, safe, easy to find, and everything is up and running - you definitely need a car.
- David (9/5): Superb - Great location and everything we needed in the park and caravan. Only thing that was a bit of issue to us was shower head holder was broken so had to hold baby and shower head to wash them.
- Radoslaw (10/5): Exceptional -

- Lucyna (10/5): Exceptional -

- M (6/5): It was ok - The size was great and it was clean. Parking right outside the door. When I arrived it was freezing, it took 24hrs for the space to heat up adequately. It had a smell the entire time of curry. Difficult to find. I didn’t stay the full duration, I left after 4 nights.
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable and clean caravan beautifully decorated for Halloween by the owner. Distance from the beach is max 150m. We highly recommend
- Krikeb (10/5): Nice caravan, very close to the beach in a quiet location. - The caravan was nice and clean, nothing was missing, it was really close to the beach, perfect place to walk with the family and dogs. When we arrived the caravan site we've met 2 maintenance guys on a utility vehicle they led us straight to our caravan.
It would be useful for the guests if the owner would send a Waze or Google maps exact location link to avoid confusion, I've put one down below.

- M (10/5): A blissful retreat with a great host and a prime beachside location. - We loved our caravan getaway just 2 minutes from the beach!
It was the perfect escape! Daily beach walks were a highlight, and the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere was exactly what we needed. The host did an outstanding job making us feel at home, and the rooms were spotless and fresh. Highly recommend this serene beachside retreat!
- Shirien (9/5): This was a brilliant caravan...the host thought of everything 😊 - The Caravan was exceptionally clean, tidy and so comfortable. The owner left such lovely touches for us, like colouring books and toys for our four year old; she also left us wine and a pineapple, which I thought was very thoughtful.
This was an amazing van, very clean bedding, fresh towels, nice and homely...it was a beautiful stay. Could not fault it, was incredible for a holiday home. No complaints, it was brilliant
