• Olivia (8/5): Beautifully renovated cottage with a town view. - Beautifully renovated cottage with a nice view over the township. The cottage had been well stocked with lots of pantry items, kitchen equipment, extra linen and towels and was exceptionally cleaned. The fireplace made each evening super cosy! Communication was easy with Host. Lots of space for us as a couple (or a family). Would not stay with friends as single bathroom and thin walls wouldn’t make it ideal. No black out blinds, only linen sheer curtains and the pillows were all very hard, so we didn’t sleep the best during our stay. No security screens on the cottage so we didn’t feel like we could leave anything open when out during the day.

• Nigel (9/5): Brilliant location and well equipped and furnished. - Beautiful location with stunning views. Very well equipped and furnished. One bathroom for 6 adults was a slight problem. Ground floor bedrooms were small but OK. Double beds were again OK.
• Phillip (9/5): - The Northern facing verandah looking over the town and on to the always pretty mountains was the stand-out feature. Made it easy to relax and difficult to leave. The electric kettle wasn't working so the host dropped off a new one within a couple of No locks on the windows so we couldn't leave them open on warm nights. Fans in every room was almost as good.

• sally (10/5): A peaceful and picturesque stop over - wished we could have stayed longer. - Beautiful views and the variety of Australian birds seen from the balcony were a highlight for the overseas guests. Attention to the small details made our stay easy and comfortable. I honestly can't think of anything.

The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of linen and towelling, staples in the cupboard for guests and a great selection of teas! We loved the clean and fresh feel of this property, it was a delightful stay. One thing we noticed was there wasn’t any cupboards or space to hang clothes, which might be a bit of a difficult thing for longer staying guests who need to hang or place garments somewhere.

The property is located in a prime location very close to the Bellingen town centre. The property was well maintained with stunning views of the town the mountains in distance. The host had very thoughtfully prepared all the things you would during the stay, including a coffee machine! None

The cottage is decorated to high standard and the beds and cushions very comfy. Host was very good at communicating. Would definitely stay again. Only one bathroom between us all but the toilet is seperate.

The view hits you first and as we moved around the property opening windows to let in air it struck us just how much effort the owner has gone to. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The sheets and comforters, even the throws were luxe. The bathroom was beautiful with a big bath, lovely shower and Sheridan towels. The wooden furniture was so well made. The kitchen was so well equipped and stylish. We were staying in the area to attend the Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass festival and had such a lovely time. Nothing.

• Nicola (10/5): Beautiful property in great location for Waterfall Way - Beautiful house renovated to a high standard. Kitchen was very well equipped, large fridge/freezer and a few bits and pieces in the cupboards to start you off. Easy walking distance (down the hill) to the main town. Lovely views from the terrace. Host was excellent accommodating us and communicating with us when we got caught in unprecedented wet weather conditions meaning we spent a lot more time in the house than anticipated as waterfall way was shut. Lovely place - just wish we’d had some dryer weather! Given the wet weather there wasn’t anywhere to hang wet coats other than on the chairs. A few more hangers and hooks might be handy.

Luxury in a home away from home. - The view was amazing, the house was exceptionally clean, the kitchen accessories were immaculate and had everything needed. The fire was a bonus as it was cold. Would have booked for longer if we were staying in the area. If we had to be really picky, for a house of 6, one toilet is not enough. We were 4 and there was a queue!

The pictures of the cottage just do not do it justice. Spotless, modern interior, fully fitted kitchen and all the comforts of home. Could easily have stayed a week.

The host was super easy to contact, access to the property was easy and straight forward but the property itself was truly beautiful, from the decor to the attention to detail to the view from the back deck - I just wished we had more than one evening. Prepare to be impressed. Absolutely nothing. The accommodation is beautiful and the hosts great.

Had an absolute ball and a fantastic stay at the mountain view cottage. Everything we could need with a beautiful finish on the inside and a large deck to take in the mountain range of the promis lands. Finbarr was more than willing to work with guests and replied swiftly. I left an item in the house, which I was contacted right after cleaning. It was shipped withing 12hrs. Thank you for sharing your magnificent hide away wich was was within easy strolling distance to the local town. Look forward to future stays. Brenton

Everything felt fresh and new, the amenities were perfect and we loved the attention to the little details, magazines, mid century inspired seating and lovely bathroom amenities. Nothing of note. There are no wardrobes but we didn't need them.

Our stay included two people but with only the one bathroom it would be challenging with a house full of people. It would also be great to have some full length mirrors on the back of bedroom doors to help with getting ready.

Beautiful kitchen and stocked with most of the essentials (salt, pepper, olive oil, honey, tea, coffee, Vegemite, tomato sauce etc. The linen on the beds were soft, nice pillows and towels. Nothing in this cottage was cheaply done. All very comfortable. Great north facing aspect so beautiful sun all morning. Location was close to Main Street. Very quiet. Would 100% stay again and recommend to friends and family . Wish I could’ve taken the two arm chairs home with me. I loved them! Nothing

• Ashleigh (10/5): Perfect cottage, exceptional place to stay in Bellingen - This was the perfect house for a weekend away with my girlfriends. We all fell in love with this beautiful cottage. A lot of care has gone into this property and it shows in the quality. It really had everything you could think of, and more. The view was stunning of a morning, and with the coffee machine, you don't even need to venture out for your first cup. Walking distance to restaurants and town (small amount uphill). Truly, there is nothing, but if i really had to think of something, our only request would be a few more mirrors - maybe behind the doors in the bedrooms. 4 women struggled a bit getting ready but not a major issue. We made it work!
• Jenni (10/5): A perfect, relaxing, wholesome weekend away with friends - We loved everything about it! The location was awesome with a view of the mountains. Watching the sunrise behind the mountains was incredible. The property itself was gorgeous. The furnishings and the house itself was very modern, clean, neat and the verandah was also stunning. All the provided extras including honey, s&p, coffee pods, glad wrap were so helpful. They thought of everything! They had plenty of coffee pods for the pod machine and even a milk frother. Also everything in the way of cooking utensils, pots and pans to cook a meal. The fire was beautiful one cool night, but the air conditioner was good for heating when we'd been out late and could instantly turn it on. The beds, bed linen and pillows were so comfy and the bath tub was so lovely. Had to take a bath one night. Bellingen is such a beautiful place to visit and would like to come back. The markets are the best I've ever been to and the Federation Hotel on Friday night with live music was awesome. The restaurant there was so good too and served delicious cocktails. Absolutely loved our stay! There was no firelighters or newspaper to start the fire. It was lucky our 1 paper bag from IGA did the trick (lighter and wood were supplied.

The cottage, view, facilities, heating were top shelf. Had such fun examining the building, garden, fittings etc....our obsession:) Not a lot of storage so if staying for an extended period would be challenging.

So well set up with everything you could need. - Great attention to detail with things like having a perfectly equipped kitchen, quality bed linen and pillows, comfortable furniture, extra towels etc. It was beautiful inside the house and looking out over the mountains. It felt more luxurious than some of the most expensive hotels that I've stayed in. I hope to return again sometime soon with my kids :) Nothing, everything was great!
