Guest Reviews
- Chris (10/5): - Only stayed one night but it was close to the hospital, quite, comfortable, clean and had all we needed for our stay.
- Amrickah (8/5): Good location good room/ amenities i used this hospital appointment visit as a test run to see if it was worth my 82 - Everything The aircon doesn’t blow hot air even on the different settings so you might need to have a quick check up over it to make sure it is working properly
- Kathleen (8/5): - Everythng provided for short stay. Welcoming aspect. Convenient for us. Easy to find in Garran not Harman! Narrow access into shower. Didn't meet the owner even though he was in the house.
- Florence (9/5): -
- OLGA (8/5): convenient for hospital visits - location was excellent for purpose to be close to hospital
nice backyard, quiet cul-de-sac except helicopter pad right across but I like helicopters
like the first aid kit, used bandaids from it, thank you
coffee machine with capsules and watercooler bedside light didn’t work
- Philip (7/5): - Inside facilities were good. The outside area really unkept and messy. The room was attached to the main house and you could hear noise from there.
- John (1/5): - Nothing The inability to provide a tax invoice.Changing the address location.
Bookings.com allow this activity to continue without any responsibility.
- Trevor (5/5): We loved the location but the property is not loved by the owners. - The distance to the private hospital The uncomfortable Bed, the squeeze shower, dripping tap, barking dog, squeaking sliding door
- Robyn (8/5): -
- Hannah (9/5): A nice stay close to the hospital - Perfect location near the hospitals, a 3 minute walk to the private hospital. The room had everything you could possibly need, we were impressed considering the cheap price. It was hard to find PowerPoints next to the bed and if you are a larger person you would have trouble fitting in the shower door- maybe remove the door and add a curtain.
- joel (10/5): Love it - Love it Close to hospital very clean and easy to get in
- Ian (1/5): - Accommodation being cancelled at late notice.
- Liz (8/5): - Excellent communication, spotlessly clean, comfy unit. Great little local information folder and just a few minutes stroll to the hospital. Would definitely stay there again.
- BEANT (6/5): -
- mark (9/5): Private, well equipped, great location close to hospital and major shopping area. - Very well-equipped room in a quiet cul-de-sac very close to Woden hospital and shopping centre. Secure undercover parking. Easy to follow instructions were emailed before arrival. Did not identify any issues that could have been done better.
- Emma (10/5): -
- Colin (4/5): - Close to Woden Hospital ACT. Was a quiet location. 1. The driveway was narrow with overgrown hedges that need a better trim as they scratched the car as we came in and out.
2. The yard has piles of dry rubbish in it which was unsightly and not suitable for children to be exposed to.
3. This location is NOT suitable for more than about 2 nights because there is no kitchen bench or sink. There is only the toilet/ bathroom sink which was small and difficult to wash used dishes in. The microwave was fine but the whole set up was uncomfortable.
4. The shower is Not suitable for anyone who is heavier than a lean build because it's a sliding door and only half opens. There is also a substantial grab rail right near the shower (a good idea) which impedes one from getting through the half opening shower door. It was very awkward and an older person would have trouble getting themselves through this door. The shower itself has good pressure.
5. The unit isn't able to be locked very securely because no key was supplied for the old sliding door (the entrance). Probably because the door has slumped a little not allowing it to line up and be locked from the outside. It can be locked from the inside with a bit of jiggling. There's a screen that works and is lockable, but it's not sufficient to provide effective security.
6. The layout was cramped, and a larger person would find it difficult the get to the left hand side of the bed.
There is a nice verandah to sit under.
But overall it needs a lot of those small jobs to be done (the whole outside area is unloved, uncared for) for one to feel comfortable in this place.
It is not a place we would stay in again.
- J.sandon (10/5): - This place is so nice and cozy, it truly felt like home during my stay. Everything was tidy and spotless, which made me feel very comfortable. The host was also very kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. It’s in a great location for anyone needing to be close to the hospital, and I’d be happy to stay here again 😊
- Susanne (4/5): Disappointed - Quite location and private Unable to have a shower as access was too narrow couldn’t fit thru was worried I would break the door as well as my mum was the same
- Anne (9/5): Very comfortable and good value for Canberra . - They have thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay. Decent bed, Nespresso coffee and kitchen basics. Even a play station . Carport for parking and sunshine coming in in the morning. Close to Canberra hospital, very convenient.
- Silest (10/5): Will definitely stay again - Very comfortable stay and parking right outside was great considering it was pouring rain.
- John (1/5): I booked and paid for two nights, but left after the first night, never again will I stay there - None Noisy, I could hear the people in next apartment talking as if there was only a thin door separating us
Dogs barking most of the night
Bathroom below standard
- Joanna (8/5): Great - Great location
Cute apartment
- David (9/5): - Great place to relax, car under cover, very quiet. I am sorry that it was such a rushed trip. Considering Canberra's winter reputation, I was impressed with the mild night, although it did rain.
- Robyn (8/5): -
- Lowe (10/5): -
- Michal (9/5): Perfect location very peacful and quite and comfortable - great location, very quite and central, enjoyed peacful sit in the winter sun on the balcony. Everything I needed in spades The aircon struggled on frosty morning due to being too cold for it to work. But that is ok I worked around that.
- Ann-marie (8/5): Very good - Was well located and very comfortable. Was quiet happy with all our stays. The reverse cycle air-conditioning was great, specially on the very cold Canberra nights. The only thing we didn't like was the light outside the room. Was very bright and made the room very bright.
- Maricel (8/5): The place is good the house is clean parking is good but only the shower is broken need to change -
- Terrey (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! It was also within walking distance of the hospital and some good shops for getting food for meals during my stay. Nothing. It was all good.
- Jeannette (6/5): I would nt stay in this room again. - Good location. Every noise, footstep, tap turning projects into this back room. No all the facilities stated.
- Nicholas (4/5): Disappointing - Room was clean and very handy. I liked it and would use again Smoke alarm was beeping from 3am till 4.30am I fiddled with it and it went off
I got a bad nights sleep before treatment which gave me a rough day
- Diana (8/5): Very good -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denisa (6/5): Pleasant - Perfectly equipped place, clean . A great distance from the hospital, bus stop... Too soft bed and a shower pipe needs a little fix, splashing water around. A dog barking for a long time around midnight and 5 am again. Quite loud in the
- Shaun (1/5): While it was great location but didn’t get much sleep due to possums living in roof - Close to hospital There was possums living in roof
- Jean (8/5): Very convenient - Nothing Scruffy
- Bailey (6/5): Pleasant -
- Zwijnenburg (8/5): Very good -
- Harvy (9/5): Confortable - It's a good place, big, comfortable and well equipped, with a bunch of boardgames, and a PS5 if you are into gaming. The only missing thing in this place would be a place to cook, a small kitchen so people can cook their meals, apart from that the place is excellent
- Caroline (10/5): Quoits - Rope quoits
- Chris (2/5): Very poor - Close to hospital, which was purpose of stay. Comfortable bed, good coffee machine. No parking available, other than 3 hrs street parking. Outside combination of building site and rubbish dump. Advertised as Netflix available meant if you were subscriber. Very small, access to shower difficult.
- Darda (6/5): Close to hospital and transport. - No breakfast For what we paid I think was ok and met our needs as was for only one night for a hospital appointment. The lady/owner was very helpful re transport to the hospital we had to go to next day.
- Vania (7/5): Good - Room had all in it I needed Well told would have parking next to room but wasn’t
Shower head is broken
Noise from from next next was a bit hard but they do have kids but washing machine going at 11-30 at night mmmmmmmm not necessarily
Yard full of rubbish but there is work going on but rubbish is household items
- Vicki (8/5): Wonderful stay - A lovely affordable room
Perfect for our needs
- Dale (7/5): Good -
- Judy (7/5): Good overnight stay - Clean Outside area untidy
- Bala (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roozbeh (9/5): Superb -

- Kelly (9/5): Superb - Very convenient location to the hospital..
Comfortable and well priced
- Sally (9/5): Superb - Very central to the hospital which was the purpose of our stay.
- Moore (9/5): Was great, host was amazing. - It was a nice cozy little place. Very comfortable and affordable. Close to the hospital, reason for our stay. There wasn’t much to not like about the property.
Was great for our stay
- Brona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Ethan (10/5): peaceful self contained unit in a wonderful area - good area. Nice bathroom set up, big tv, private shower was well stocked, water cooler in the room too we don't have any complaints other than we ran out of toilet paper lol
- Jenny (10/5): Amazing - Location was perfect. Very accommodating Nothing
- Shara (8/5): Very good -
- Noel (8/5): Great for our needs - Good location to hospital Nearby shops Nil
- Guy (7/5): Good - Water cooler is very noisy intermittently.
- Lauretta (4/5): Disappointing - The location was Amazing and TV facilities were good. An ample amount of towels were provided. Parking space was provided. Shower door opening was way too small and made it very difficult to get in/out of the shower.
Although facilities were provided for washing cutlery and crockery they were not clean when we arrived.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Terese (9/5): Perfect stay very close to Canberra Hospital - Location from hospital was great. Walking distance. It’s at the back of a property but once we got in it was perfect for our needs. Parking off street was great we left the car and walked to hospital. Just be aware it’s at the back of another house. Don’t let this put you off as it’s quiet clean and everything that’s needed for a stay near hospital
- Anne (8/5): Very good - Was basic but clean and comfortable. Good value for budget accomm.
- Stephanie (10/5): Clean, comfortable accomodation, easy walking distance to hospital. - Close o hospital
- Anh (3/5): Poor -
- Debra (9/5): Superb - Clean and great location if visiting hospital
- Debra (9/5): Superb - Seamless check-in process. Great location for visiting hospital only a short walk
- Wieslaw (8/5): Very good - Great to deal with when needed somewhere to stay in a hurry close to Canberra Hospital. Got to check in a little early and it's walking distance to the Hospital. Very reasonable rate especially with bonus Booking.com Genius discount. Bed could be more comfortable but was fine.
- Julian (8/5): Very good - Easy access. Good location
- Margaret (10/5): All you need. - Close to where we needed to go. Lots of appliances.
- Sapkota (10/5): Exceptional -
- A (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trishna (7/5): Good -
- Catherine (9/5): Superb -
- Tay (8/5): Good value workers’ accomodation for a few nights stay - Had everything needed and plenty of space. On property parking was also useful and it was in a leafy backyard. The aircon was great and also had the option of opening windows for fresh air. A top sheet for the bed would have been good. The fuzzy blanket alone was a bit of a weird texture on the skin. There was some mould in the shower. A small amount of noise from the adjoining house, but quiet after 10pm.
- Michelle (10/5): As above, fitted all my needs. - The room was private, quiet and comfortable, the location to the hospital is perfect for early appointments. I would suggest this room to others and will use again if needed.
- Graeme (6/5): Unlikely to restay without improvements - Clean, bu the two bed pillows were not good quality. Even adding two on top of each other was insufficient for a comfortable neck support.
The shower rose dripped all night and I could hear it even with the bathroom door closed. I had to use ear plugs to enable me to sleep.
The fridge’s freezer needs defrosting and new ice in the drink ice blocks as the current ones tasted stale.
The three lounge cushions all need replacing as they provide no comfort and the bed didn’t have a flat top sheet! I suspect the throw used instead of a fresh sheet isn’t washed after each visitor!!!
Basic comfort! Hosts Could do a lot to improve the comfort of the facility. Curtains were poorly hung and impossible to easily draw closed.
- Megan (10/5): Perfect stay - Spacious room, tv was great to unwind with Netflix at night, coffee machine was a nice touch. A short drive to some stunning national parks. It’s cheap because it’s not centrally located but if you have a car you can drive anywhere easily.
- Jarome (5/5): Passable -
- Sushma (10/5): Pretty nice and secluded. Loved that I didn’t have ti deal with people - Privacy Felt like the duvet hadn’t been washed ever. Would feel much better if you had duvet cover that could be washed easily.
- Kishan (8/5): crashed in and was comfy - Nice setup at the backyard. Separate Entrance. Easy Access Except for mold in Showers everything else was ok.
- John (7/5): If you need to be near the Canberra hospital and not needing service this is good value. - The location suited our needs and its proximity to the little shopping strip with cafe and bakery was a bonus. The air-conditioning worked really well. The parking was very tight. Trees and bushes could be trimmed back more and the gate posts created a tight opening. Medium size car just fitted with the mirrors folded in.
- Pauline (7/5): Good -
- Jodie (9/5): Superb -
- Troy (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Nil.
- Kim (7/5): Good -
- Colin (8/5): Very good -

- Eccles (9/5): Superb -
