• Agnieszka (8/5): In general we enjoyed our stay in Kudos beach. - Property was nice, clean and spacious like on the pictures. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was prepared with care and taste, fantastic assortment of cooked and fresh food. Power cut was messing up with our air conditioning (my friend had a health problem and she needed air conditioning in the evenings) and also we had a problem with water (lack of water in the middle of my shower). The pool on the pictures shouldn’t be even advertised because it was completely shut outside the season… It’s giving mix signals.

Alle Mitarbeiter*innen sind ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird liebevoll zubereitet, und Wasser steht jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll und minimalistisch eingerichtet. Auch die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Service insgesamt ist einfach grandios. 🤍🌴☀️

• Julia (10/5): - Beautiful apartment, furnished and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The breakfast was amazing and plenty and quite some variety to choose from. Free drinking water always available. Mosquito nets on the windows and AC and fans helped us always feel comfortable. Very comfortable bed! Staff was very nice and helpful. Wonderful views of the beach from the balcony. We will be back! Not exactly in the center of Jambiani, but there's still shops and restaurants within a short walking distance.
• Cristian (10/5): Superb stay in Jambiani - Clean, comfortable, modern but most importantly the location on the beach was top. Breakfast was generous and very good, staff friendly, so we had a great stay. We only used the pool once, it is super close (located in a resort just a minute on the beach ), you have to spend in food or drinks 10 usd, which for was ideal for lunch when there was low tide and did not swim in front of the apartment.

The pool was 2min walking distance and also very beautiful. We mostly ate at the Bar next to this property. Very convenient. In April it was a very quiet place. But my kids (3, 6yo) loved it. -

• Zeynep (10/5): - Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das gesamte Team war während unseres Aufenthalts unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bieten eine fantastische Aussicht. Der Blick vom Zimmer war einfach hervorragend. Perfekt, um morgens entspannt in den Tag zu starten oder abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Frühstück: Man kann es ganz bequem vorbestellen und es wird direkt ins Zimmer gebracht. Der Service war zuverlässig und liebevoll organisiert. Der Kaffee war außergewöhnlich gut und hat jeden Morgen perfekt gemacht. Die ruhige Atmosphäre des Hotels sorgt für echte Erholung und Entspannung. Insgesamt war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit wiederholen würden. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diese schöne Zeit. Absolute Empfehlung! Im Treppenbereich war gelegentlich ein leichter Geruch wahrnehmbar, vermutlich durch die Holzausstattung, und auch im Zimmer gab es einen dezenten Holzgeruch. Uns hat das jedoch nicht weiter gestört und der insgesamt sehr positive Eindruck des Hotels blieb davon vollkommen unberührt.
• Logan (9/5): Perfect spot for privacy and relaxing at the beach. - I love the apartment, well designed and very relaxing. As hospitality professionals it was nice to have the privacy and calmness that they provided. Getting breakfast every morning on the balcony, the perfect way to spend our Anniversary. The bed was comfortable, the aircons worked very well. The staff made such a good effort with our special occasion. The only thing I would mention is the wifi was a bit slow, we couldn't really watch a movie without buffing.

The room exactly how it looks like on the pictures : cozy, comfortable bed, sofa, the kitchen has everything which is needed for basic cooking. Stylish place . Unfortunately I experienced that few things are not completely align with the basic description on booking.com (or I was not too precize during checking) : - the property is far from the road. Very tricky to get here, during night the only tiny street is dark & shady - there is no reception desk. You have to call them beforehand arrival. Otherwise you will be staying outside for 30 mins - the restaurant (Scooby Doo) next to it has very loud music. Which made me impossible to work from the room, not mentioning the terrace - they DO NOT HAVE swimming pool. Confusing pictures. They are 5 mins walk from the property. And you have to pay for it : 15$ / day - one night it was raining. Ment the bed on the terrace was soaked completely. They shall adopt a solution on a side wall to avoid similar inconveniences. So altogether I left with a bittersweet feeling …

• Joanna (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - Beautiful apartments right on the beach with amazing view and lovely staff who look after you well and make very nice breakfast of your choice. We stayed for 10 nights and had a great time. Rooms are cleaned everyday, breakfast is served in rooms. I can highly recommend having massages especially the one with scrub. Very good and relaxing with homemade products. We highly recommend Kudos beach apartments and would love to come back in the future.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zudem extrem hilfsbereite, freundliche Mitarbeiter: Es ist immer eine Ansprechperson vorort. Einzig der Herd konnte nicht genutzt werden, weil ein Ersatzteil fehlte. Wir kommen dennoch wieder!

The owner was extremely helpful and responsive . She made everything easy and was always available to answer any questions. Her kindness and support really made the experience even better. I also forgot to bring my iPhone charger, and one of the staff members his name is lazer , kindly left his charger with me for my entire stay without even asking for it back. He also helped us with our luggage. His generosity and support were truly appreciated The apartment also smelled amazing and the bedding and towels were very clean and fresh I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nothing just The power went off once for about 45 minutes, but it only happened that one time during our entire stay, so it was completely manageable.

• Katarzyna (7/5): Besviken men underbar frukost - det är den som var räddning - Stort och bekväm Ingång på baksidan där det är fullt med skräp i omgivningen - den sidan av ön har mycket tidsvatten vilket gör att utsikt under största del av dagen är hemskt - vi kunde inte fånga en enda stund med ustkikten som på bilderna - går inte alls att bada där- så det är stort besvikelse att du betalar så mycket men kan inte bada - på hotellet som de hänvisar till att det finns pool och nyttja känner de inte till Qudos- vi var där en gång och drack kaffe för att vänta på incheckning - känslan att vi är inte alls välkomna att vistas där. Så du är helt låst till lägenheten och stranden som går inte att bada på

The staff were exceptional — always friendly, polite, and ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was rich, delicious, and offered plenty of variety. The location was perfect, right by the sea — we could hear the sound of the waves every day and it was truly relaxing. An unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Zanzibar. I would definitely stay here again!

I think it’ll be nice to have a big full body mirror. Shower turns cold and loses pressure faster than I’d prefer. The pool is next door, so it’s takes effort to go swim.
• Patrizia (10/5): Traumhafte Entspannung nach Tansania-Safari - Es war einfach ein Traum! Wir waren im Oktober zum Entspannen nach einer Safari hier. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist wunderbar. Das Frühstück ist perfekt und wird auf die Terrasse des Apartments serviert. Sicherheit ist gegeben, da 24 h jemand am Stiegenaufgang ist und aufpasst, dass nur die Gäste sich dort aufhalten. Betten für uns super, auch die Schlafcouch für unsre erwachsene Tochter. Im der Scooby Doo Beach Bar nebenan kann man sehr gut essen und Cocktails trinken. Cocktails wurden uns auch mal auf's Zimmer gebracht. :-) Bitte beachten, dass die Gehzeiten in Jambiani sehr ausgeprägt sind und man nicht jederzeit schwimmen gehen kann. Muss man eben ein bissl planen. Es ist auch mal interessant sowas zu sehen und bei Flut ist es herrlich zum Schwimmen. Zur möglichen Poolbenutzungi, gegen Konsumation und gleich in der Nähe kann ich daher nichts sagen. Für uns war es nicht notwendig. Für Taucher kann ich das Ocean Wonder Dive Center von Nadine Ostermann sehr empfehlen. Wir fanden das Tauchen zwar von dem her was man sieht nicht so toll (im Vergleich zu Malediven und Ägypten). Für unsere Tochter die dort den Tauchschein mit Nadine gemacht hat war es jedoch perfekt und auch der Refresher den wir gemacht haben (nach 7 Jahren ohne Tauchen) war echt super hilfreich. Die Unterkunft kann ich für Ruhesuchende zu 100 % empfehlen. Das ist jetzt eher eine Kleinigkeit: * an einem Tag war der Generator von der Scooby Doo Bar recht laut zu hören. Aber das kann einfach mal passieren, in Ländern wo der Strom halt manchmal ausfällt. * ein kleiner Wäscheständer zum Aufhängen der nassen Badesachen wäre hilfreich

• Flora (4/5): Je ne recommande pas! Un beau cadre ne remplace pas le confort de base et un service client pro.! - J'ai bien aimé la déco, les équipements et le petit déjeuner était super copieux! Je ne recommande pas Kudos. Malgré un accueil initial agréable et une décoration soignée, notre séjour a été catastrophique. ​Dès 21h le premier soir, nous avons subi une coupure totale d'électricité et d'eau. Nous avons alors découvert que nous étions livrés à nous-mêmes : la responsable était déjà partie et seul un gardien, sans aucune ressource ni solution, était présent. Nous avons dû passer la nuit dans le noir et la chaleur, sans même pouvoir nous doucher. Pourtant, nous avions lu des commentaires signalant ces mêmes problèmes d'électricité datant d'il y a plus d'un an ; nous pensions naïvement que la situation aurait été résolue depuis le temps, mais rien n'a changé. ​Pendant que les établissements voisins étaient tous éclairés (générateurs ou solaire), Kudos ne propose aucune solution de secours. Le lendemain, l'électricité n'est revenue qu'à 8h et il a fallu insister pour obtenir de l'eau. À 14h, nouvelle coupure. ​Face à l'absence totale de réactivité, nous avons quitté l'hôtel après une seule nuit au lieu de deux, bien que tout ait été payé d'avance. Un beau cadre ne remplace pas le confort de base et un service client professionnel. Établissement à éviter!

Wir waren so verblüfft als wir das erste Mal in die Wohnung kamen, mit so viel Liebe zum Detail und auch noch so hochwertig. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich toll :) Wir kamen spät am Abend an, wurden vom Parkplatz abgeholt und nachdem wir erwähnten das wir noch Hunger hatten, wurden wir auf die Hauptstraße zum Restaurant begleitet, wofür wir wirklich dankbar waren 🫶🏻☺️ Danke für alles

Wir würden uns wieder für diese Unterkunft entscheiden. - Uns hat alles gefallen, der tolle Meerblick, das leckere Frühstück, das sehr freundliche Personal, die liebevolle Einrichtung… Manchmal kamen sogar die Affen vorbei und man konnte schöne Fotos machen. Das Restaurant nebenan ist sehr lecker (Scoby Doo). Die Poolnutzung im Mwezi war problemlos. Das helle Licht an der Treppe. Da das Schlafzimmerfenster in diese Richtung geht konnte man das Fenster nicht offen stehen lassen.

Maybe I can just advise that if they want to mentain the cereal option then let it be muesli with yogurt and/or cornflakes with fresh milk and not vise versa as is the case right now. but generally the breakfast was good. I suggest the use of farmers choice sausages. Every other thing was perfect and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Breakfast had reasonable selections, tasted good but was served a bit cold. The location was not easy to find. And not easy to access the main entrance. You need to be guided by the staff at some point. The beach not the best for swim, was full of seaweed. Not sure if seasonal or around the year! I personally had a small conflict with the responsible/owner. About the extra charges/hidden charges that was not mentioned at the checking nor on my booking. Was informed only the day before leaving. But we managed to solve the problem amicably.

• ISABELLE (7/5): Malgré les petits points de détail évoqués, je conseille vivement cet établissement. Le personnel est charmant et très s - La situation magnifique. Le petit déjeuner parfait bien que proposé seulement à 8 heures le matin. Vers sept heures serait plus raisonnable pour pouvoir profiter des activités avec la fraîcheur du matin d’autant plus que le rideau pare soleil de la terrasse est fixé à l’inverse du coté soleil. Il est à gauche au lieu de droite. Il fait donc très chaud pour déjeuner en plein soleil sur la terrasse. Il manque une penderie et des cintres dans ces magnifiques placards. Impossible d’accrocher une robe. Il manque aussi quelque chose pour étendre ses maillots de bain et serviettes de plage alors que la baignade est une des activités principales de l’endroit. Dans la salle de bain le miroir est fixé trop haut. Pas possible de l’utiliser si l’on mesure moins d’un mètre soixante dix. Une douchette serait bienvenue au lieu d’une poire de douche fixe si l’on veut éviter de mouiller ses cheveux.

We recommend choosing to live on the third floor as it will be more private frol the balcony plus the view is amazing. The staff was so attentetive and kind. There should be sunbeds in front of the building for guests to use. Also more information about the tours they offer.

Appartement is sfeervol ingericht, ‘s ochtends lekker ontbijt op eigen terras en door de zeewind was het ook heerlijk om daar te zitten. Personeel was vriendelijk en attent. Alles was top. Alleen even beetje onduidelijk hoe we een tour konden regelen, maar dat kan ook aan ons gelegen hebben ;-)

Step down from terrace onto the sand but have a peace of mind knowing you’re secure with the terrace railings. Breakfast served on terrace was a lovely touch and nice surprise. We didn’t venture far, we ate lunch and dinner at scooby doo restaurant next door. Apartment was spotless and liked the fact the night security guard sits at the entrance. • Kris22221 (4/5): - Hotel posiada przepiękny widok z okna podczas przypływy naprawdę niesamowity i faktycznie jest przy samej plaży. Szkoda tylko, że są totalnie nie uczciwy. Hotel nie posiada własnego baseny, leżaków słonecznych ani parasoli. Te które widać na zdjęciach należą da Scooby Doo Bar i nie można ich używać jeśli akurat nie zamówisz czegoś do jedzenia albo picia. Basen jest też dostępny, jeśli zamówisz na nim jedzenie albo picie za minimum 10$ od osoby. Jest sporo hoteli przy plaży, które udostępniają swoje baseny na podobnych warunkach. Czułam się bardzo rozczarowana, kiedy wróciłam z basenu, który hotel poleca najedzona i po 6 godzinach odpływy, chciałam w końcu skorzystać z morza, położyłam swoje rzeczy na leżaku, a ochrona podbiegła do mnie i poinformowała, że nie ważne jest, iż jestem gościem hotelowym i nie ważne, że dzień wcześniej wydałam w Scooby Doo Barze sporo, jeśli teraz nie zamówię nic, to mogę położyć swoje rzeczy na piasku, bo leżaki są tylko dla klientów baru! Choć w danym momencie nie było kompletnie, żadnych innych klinentow w barze. Obsługa hotelowa oznajmiła, że być może będą mieli swoje leżaki za miesiąc. Więc całkiem nie rozumiem, dlaczego chwalą się w udogodnieniach, że mają leżaki i parasole skoro ich nie mają, podobnie jest z basenem. Dlatego uważam, się oszukana i na pewno tu nie wrócę.

• Regina (10/5): 7 Nächte im Paradies – wir kommen wieder! - Wir haben hier 7 Nächte verbracht und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wunderschön eingerichtet, mit toller Aussicht und einem leckeren Frühstück, das auf dem eigenen, riesigen Balkon serviert wurde – dazu noch großartige Mitarbeitende! Unsere Tauchbasis Pole Pole Divers war ganz in der Nähe – super praktisch. Auch die beiden Restaurants links und rechts vom Apartment können wir wärmstens empfehlen.
• Ögün (10/5): Entspannung pur mit sehr gutem Service. - Die Lage ist abseits von den touristischen Hotspots in Jambiani (ca. 15-20m Fußweg) und daher sehr ruhig. Für uns war es zur Entspannung perfekt. Wir hatten das Zimmer in der obersten Etage. Die Zimmer sind hervorragend eingerichtet, der Balkon ist ein Traum mit Sonnenliege und Meerblick. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Option des Frühstücks auf dem Balkon ist ebenfalls sensationell. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. Um das Apartment zu erreichen, muss man von der Hauptstraße aus 3-4 Minuten zu Fuß durch den san laufen, da es keinen direkten Weg gibt. Mit schweren Koffern ist das sehr ungünstig. Vor der Ankunft am besten das Personal kontaktieren und um Hilfe beim Tragen bitten.

• Mohamed (10/5): Our stay in Kudos was a cherry on the top for our visit to Zanzibar - The Location was Prime, an area full of life with access to most of the things and activities around you. A few steps from the main road, too short to car and plenty of spaces to park if you have a car. The room in Bohemian style was incredible with much care of details, everything we needed was available in the room, the beach breeze was filling the room, which was phenomenal. We were worried about mosquitoes due to the words we heard before traveling, NOT a single encounter. Breakfast was an option of 6 dishes, and my family and I kept shuffling between them to get a chance to try everything. Staff were VERY helpful and available on the spot, they actually managed to surprise us with my daughter's 9th birthday just two days before we finished our stay. I would not wish for anything more in that room and would for sure come back to it over and over. absolutely nothing. Everything was working perfectly fine.

• Jade (10/5): You made my birthday AMAZING! Incredible stay! - We had the most amazing stay at Kudos in Jambiani and truly didn’t want to leave. The staff were absolutely impeccable - kind, attentive, and genuinely warm-hearted. They went above and beyond for us, especially when we had an unexpected situation with a friend (who wasn’t on the booking) after a night out. They kindly allowed her to stay over and even prepared her breakfast for a small additional cost — all without making us feel awkward or uncomfortable. That kindness meant the world to us. Misee - who I believe is the manager (if not, she should be! 👀) - was phenomenal! She was quick to respond to any questions, always had a smile on her face, and made everything so easy for us. She arranged a driver for our night out, coordinated with our tour guide, and just made us feel so well looked after. A true gem! Speaking of the tour guide, Shawal was brilliant. As young female travellers, we’re always cautious - but with him, we felt completely safe and respected. He was patient and kind, especially when my friend struggled at the start of our snorkelling trip. He never made her feel bad and encouraged her until she felt confident enough to fully enjoy the experience. We couldn’t have asked for better. Then there was Stefano, who brought breakfast to our door every morning with a huge smile. He was friendly, respectful, and somehow knew exactly when to chat and when to give us space. A small thing, but it made a big difference. The apartment itself (we stayed in Apartment 6) was stunning and SO spacious. You could definitely have 4 people in there as there is a sofa bed. Honestly, it looks even better in person. Waking up to the sound of the ocean was a dream. And the breakfast - wow! Delicious, fresh, and a lovely start to each day. We’ve stayed in a few places during our trip to Zanzibar, but this one left a mark. We felt safe, cared for, and completely at home. Thank you to the entire team - we’ll be recommending you to everyone we know. Asante Sanaaaa!!! Nothing was all fantastic! If there was one thing me and my friend would add it would be a full length mirror. There is a lot of space for one 😉

The staff was extremely friendly, our host Shawal took great care of us during our stay, the property was clean at all times and they fixed any problems we experienced almost immediately (our TV wasn’t working and they brought us a new one on the spot). It was the highlight of our stays in Zanzibar. Thank you for great hospitality. We had an absolutely wonderful stay in. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local tips and even checking in to make sure everything was ok. The residential had a great pool area where we spent most of the days, check the bar restaurant, very nice food and drinks. Planning to return for our next holiday.

• Diana (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was really nice though there was limited choice. Aesthetically, apartments look exactly like the pictures. Beachfront property. Easy to communicate with staff via WhatsApp and efficient responses. However, very turbulent roads to access the property. Not easy to find. Wouldn’t recommend travelling with a lot of suitcases because they use a wheel barrow to transport. Lack of amenities - No pool/No in-house restaurant. Electricity and water outages were very disruptive, especially during daytime. Whilst they have a generator, it couldnt support the a/c or blowdryer. Electricity was manageable during the evenings.

We were received, accommodated, and treated so well. The house manager was so helpful and with anything we asked, they were really helpful with helping with any arrangements. I don’t have anything negative to say other than keep up the good work and thank you for all the kindness you showed. And we will definitely be back.
