- Claire (8/5): Lovely 2 night stay, clean, spacious and located near to main shops. - Lovely home, well maintained, plenty of room for 5 people Would be ideal to have a 2nd shower as all guest used the en-suite one.
- Elsa Isabel (10/5): Nice place - Everything was just fine.
Lovely place and very comfortable. The fact that there’s only one bathroom with shower in the en-suite room.
I would suggest maybe install a shower in the family bathroom.
- Marit (10/5): Highly recommend for family and friends - Best beds ever when renting a holiday house. Plenty of space and a good location. Free parking. Noting to point out as negative compared to our expectations
- Michael (8/5): - Clean and comfortable

- Christopher (9/5): Ideal accommodation for our stay. - Modern, comfortable house with good accommodation in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Good location with street parking, 20 minutes walk to town centre. Tastefully decorated with well equipped kitchen. Lovely lounge with large TV. Ideal for our purposes, 5 adults visiting Bury St Edmunds for a wedding. Only shower is in the en-suite. One over the bath in the main bathroom would make a big difference. 2 bedrooms without bedside lights. Bed in en-suite room was creaky.
- KimlyAn (9/5): Home from Home - Clean, spacious, really comfy beds, great location, quiet, walking distance to town - would stay again & recommend to friends. Nothing to dislike
- Anderson (9/5): Convenient and comfy - Comfy beds. Well located for walking to the town.

- eley (10/5): Very nice place - Very comfortable and clean
- Gillian (9/5): Very comfortable stay in a house with good location and easy parking. - Very good location 20 min walk into centre. East parking. Well equipped and very clean. Cold conservatory that had dining room table.
- Phillip (9/5): Very comfortable 3 bed house perfectly located for exploring the delights of wonderful Bury St Edmunds. - Loved - the location close to town, pubs & restaurants, spacious, comfortable beds, good TV package, easy parking, well equipped, good communication. All made for a fantastic 4 night stay. A couple of improvements would make 9 out of 10, 10 out of 10
- a few floor/table/bedside lamps to create ambient lighting.
- a second shower in the family bathroom.
- simon (8/5): Nice stay. Would use the property again. - In a quite area with street parking. All facilities needed were included ie cutlery tea coffee towels etc. near the centre within walking distance. Tidy clean with 3 good bedrooms. The only negative which we did know about and didn’t bother us is there’s 2 bathrooms but only 1 shower.
We were there for a family wedding with adult children so worked around it. Not sure how it would work with couples/friends.
- Raeleen (9/5): Very nice place, ample room, and great location. Would rent again!! - Location to town center is excellent! Could not open windows in conservatory.
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional 3 bedroom house - The 3 bedroom house was excellent, I couldn't fault it.
The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The only noticeable thing to mention was that the bathroom locks didn't work, but it wasn't a problem as there were three.
- Heather (10/5): - Loved the house, if this is the exceptional quality of accommodation we have booked, we are in for a great holiday. Loved the special sunroom bonus perfect for breakfast. Highly recommend. Quiet neighbourhood Nothing
- Cindy (10/5): Lovely home in a nice area of town walking distance to the shops and dining. - Lovely home in a nice area of town walking distance to the shops and dining. Plenty of warm water for all baths.
- Gregory (8/5): Well located and clean - Well located, very clean, good communication with owner Nothing to mention
- Mary (10/5): Comfortable and walkable to town - Lots of free parking close..
Easy walk to town. Spacious and comfortable house
- Alastair (8/5): Very good - House was very high standard of cleanliness and comfort. The only real problem is that there is only one shower which is in the en suite bedroom. Not great if there is 2/3 couples staying.
Small garden at the back of the house needs some attention.
- Ricardo (8/5): Great stay and location - The house is very well located and is very comfortable. We stayed there to attend a wedding and everything was ok. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is good as well as the eating area. The bedrooms and beds are comfortable. The only note to add is that of the 3 bathrooms, only only has a shower head, the other is bathtub with no shower head or shower curtain. It can improve since there is only one shower and a dripping tap in the bathtub. only one shower and a dripping tap in the bathtub.
- Gemma (8/5): Very good - Was comfortable and well equipped, particularly in the kitchen.
- Clare (8/5): Very good - Good location in quiet neighbourhood with easy walk to town and train
Very clean and comfortable
Perfect for a family stay
My grandsons enjoyed the nearby playgrounds!
- Anne (8/5): A well kept and presented house that would be even better with a few small changes. - The property was very clean and well furnished. The kitchen especially was well stocked. When we had a problem with the TV the host was very helpful. It was a 10 minute walk to the town centre and in a quiet area with green space nearby. The bed was comfortable for one person but less so for two (a soft mattress meant rolling together). No bedside tables or lamps in 2 bedrooms. Only one shower and a dripping tap in the bath.
- Nicola (7/5): Short stay with partner and adult sons - It's hard to write a review as only stayed one night out of the three booked due to a family emergency. However, the house was clean, comfortable and appeared well equipped. Very quiet location. Also, the owners have responded well to suggestions in previous reviews. There is now a microwave, nest of tables and long mirror that have previously been suggested. Just so that potential guests are aware, the third double bedroom is very small. The double bed takes up 99% of the room. Was fine for us though. Toilet seat in ensuite off main bedroom needs replacing. Wasn't a fan of the blinds. Look nice but not easy to use.
- Moulshree (9/5): Superb -
- Kerrie (10/5): Exceptional - The house was really really nice. Everything you needed was here. The cold conservatory
- Ali (10/5): STYLISH HOUSE BURY ST EDMUNDS - Loved everything !! House was great.Bury town was short walk from house and superb, great food, pubs and shops.Definitely would rent again Absolutely nothing !!
- Geoffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (10/5): Walking distance to town and cathedral, warm, clean and well presented - House was spotlessly clean and warm.
- Tanya (6/5): It was a pleasant few days. - Good location, pleasant property in a residential area. The oven and kitchen utensils were not clean.
The conservatory/dining area was too cold to use.
- Stephanie (2/5): Comfortable - Everything we needed and more
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house, excellently equipped. Good location. Set up for Christmas, which was lovely. -
- Debra (9/5): Perfect for what we needed - Very clean, cozy and warm and all three beds were extremely comfortable we were there for a wedding and there were rooms without mirrors which made it a bit of a challenge
- Lucy (9/5): Superb -
- Samantha (8/5): Lovely house not far from town - Really lovely house with plenty of space for our small group of mum friends. Host was really helpful. Not far to walk into town. Clean with nice furnishings. Well equipped kitchen. Would stay again. Just little things. There are no bins in the bathrooms which are a must, especially for ladies. Shower didn't drain very well so was filled with water by the time I got out. Conservatory was understandably very cold but as the dining room, it could do with a better heater. There was no remote for the living room TV so we had to use the buttons.
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Teresa (7/5): Perfectly adequate for our needs - Clean and comfortable, easy walking distance from town, quiet area Could have done with another shower over the bath and a few more lamps, side and bedside tables
- Suzanne (9/5): lovely property, good location - Lovely house, small walk to town. very clean throughout.
everything we needed except a couple of extras we missed.
A coffee table, bedside tables either side, a shelf in the bathroom, a long mirror in one of the bedrooms.
This didn't dtract from our stay, otherwise excellent. dripping hot water tap in the main bathroom.
very squeeky bed in ensuite room
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable beds and good kitchen facilities
- Jo (9/5): Nice neutral accomodation perfect for our purposes - perfect for us spending a weekend in Bury to attend a wedding. Kitchen well stocked lovely dining room & lounge. would be really helpful to add a telephone shower over the bath which would be more efficient then running a bath or for washing hair. A nest of tables in lounge would be good investment as we had to put coffee cups on the floor.
- Giampalma (10/5): We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience at your lovely property and will return and recommend. - We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thankyou.
A property immaculately presented decorated and furnished with quality fittings and it was lovely to meet our hosts providing us with a microwave too.
We are now saying we prefer a self catering property rather than B&B on trips away to gain more freedom, space and relaxation time. It was great that the basic commodities were provided i.e tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, this is so useful for the guests not having to think about bringing the basics. There wasn't anything we didn't like and not being picky but here are a few suggestions for simple, easy improvements for future guests in our opinion:
A nest of tables in lounge area for placing drinks.
Mirrors on bedroom walls near the electric sockets for hairstyling etc.
A shower in main bathroom over bath to give the option of bath or shower for the occupants of the 2 bedrooms which don't have ensuites.
Bedside cabinets and lamps on both sides of the beds.
- Peter (8/5): Ideal for our needs and self catering requirements. - Modern, clean, good living space.
Convenient parking good walking access to the town. Not don’t like but would have liked a microwave or air fryer.
Small coffee table in the lounge would have been helpful.
- Mary (9/5): Overall just about perfect for our requirements - Spacious bedrooms
Quiet location Only one shower
- Arfan (8/5): Spacious and comfortable with great location - Spacious for a group of five friends. Lack of teapot as would be useful for group tea making. There could be more rubbish bins upstairs and the iron leaks water.
- Rachel (9/5): Wonderful stay, very comfortable - Really lovely house, good location, able to park on the street no problem Not great water pressure for shower, and a couple of taps weren’t right, but a plumber had been arranged so they should be resolved now
- Sheila (8/5): Comfortable, spacious, well located property - Beds were v comfortable and the property felt spacious Dripping taps
- Emma (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tashan (6/5): It was a good stay for 2 nights however would not stay any longer due to the bathroom facilities (only having one shower - Very spacious and clean property in a very good location. Only shower in the en-suite room.
Taps in both bathrooms were dripping constantly.
Only one or no plug sockets in the bedrooms.
No list of amenities on the site.
- Jonathan (10/5): Great place to stay - Everything was great, fantastic location and very well set up house, everything hotel quality.
- Emma (9/5): A fantastic, clean and comfy house for up to 6 people a short walk away from the heart of Bury - Excellent Property! 10 min walk into Bury. Plenty of parking. Great wifi. Very clean and comfortable. Comfy beds. Light and airy conservatory providing lots of extra space. Great kitchen. Would definitely stay again! Very small niggles - ensuite and family bathroom sink hot tap not working or not working very well. Family bathroom bath hot tap dripping. No corkscrew (or we couldn't find one!). Welcome pack would be great giving details of rubbish/recycling and how the TV works with regard to Netflix/Prime etc. But none of this spoiled any enjoyment of our stay!
- Amos (8/5): Very good - In a quiet estate that is close to the town centre.
Easy check in and out.
The host responded promptly to text messages. Street parking the property can be tight, but there is a parking bay nearby.
- Valerie (8/5): Few niggles but adequate for our short stay - Loved large dining area . Access to WiFi. Luckily had a geek in family that found the connection
Parking a problem with three cars.
An information pack would be ideal for taxis, wifi, take aways etc
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Burgess (10/5): Great location travelling to all attractions in Norfolk and surrounding - Smart to Nothing
- Ian (9/5): Superb - The location is ideal - very central.
The property has lots of facilities available - free WiFi, plenty of cooking utensils etc.
The conservatory is a great addition Nothing.
- Bryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tonya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Great stay - The entire house was clean and very nicely furnished
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - lovely place to stay , would definitely stay again very near centre of town
