• Jules Wanderer (10/5): Definitely Worth A Night! - What an adorable and pleasant guesthouse! The place itself exceeded all expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with food, tea, coffee, and delicious locally made buranelli cookies. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was not only clean but had toiletries. Lastly, the location was ideal for exploring the picturesque island of Burano.

• Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - A beautifully appointed apartment is an exquisite location. This rental and community were a highlight of a mother daughter trip to Italy. Silvia the host makes you feel like your are a beloved friend. We arrived after a long day of travel and site seeing in a city that is annoyed with the over tourism in Venice. Silvia greater us with hugs, kindness, generosity and fresh chilled juices waiting for us in the refrigerator and the island specialty cookies on a platter on the table. Burano is quiet at night. Silvia made sure we had some where that would be open to serve us dinner. She provided us with a map and directions for an independent tour of the island. She answered our many questions and helped us with a tour of a glass factory on Murano the next day. I highly recommend this rental property. Silvia and the property are outstanding and very much worth the extra effort to get to this off the beaten path island in Venice.

Silvia was an incredibly kind and caring host, with amazing attention to detail. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Highly recommend! We loved everything
• Kiryl (9/5): Wow - This is a charming house which is completely correspond to the spirit ot the island. All is done with attention to the details that we liked much. Сozy table in front of the house where you can chill in the evening when numerous tourists dessapear and Burano become itself. Attentive and fun hostess Silvia at your disposal. Internet was very slow.
• Matteo (10/5): Calm, relaxing and friendly island 40 min cruise away from Venice - The hosts are very friendly and always ready to help, in English as in Italian. The house is decorated with taste, reflecting the Lagoon's palette. It is exactly in the middle of the (admittedly small) island, a short walk away from the Coop supermarket and the vaporetto terminal. The living space is well organized and the kitchen is perfect, even for complex meals (the large fridge was much appreciated). Nothing, the vacation was perfect.
• Adrian (10/5): In the heart of a beautiful village we loved our stay at Flora - Accurate description. Perfect location. Very communicative and helpful host. We arrived very late but it was easy to access the cottage. We were there in January so it was cold but Silvia had made sure it was toasty warm on our arrival. Silvia also provided biscuits, chocolate and emergency food rations. It seems petty to mention anything but the spiral stairs were tight. We got the hang of it and left our suitcases downstairs.
• Matthias (10/5): A home away from home, where you are really welcome. - Flora Cottage Guesthouse in Burano is stunning! The house is a traditional Burano cottage and it has been lovingly and carefully renovated. From the house you can see the canal and you are within easy walking distance of almost everything. The cottage is stylish, cosy and clean. The six beds were comfortable and there were additional pillows and rugs should you need them. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed, there were even a few store cupboard items and a washing machine which you can use if need be. Games, books, toys and two TVs (one with YouTube, Netflix etc.) are there for your recreation and we felt very at home. There are comprehensive instructions for the cottage, suggestions for things to do on the island and Silvia and Luca were always willing to help and answer any questions! We arrived quite late on Burano, just as the shops were closing and due to the adverse weather, none of the restaurants were open. But Silvia had been in regular contact with us and so Luca went shopping for us and met us at the cottage with everything we needed for dinner and breakfast. This was so kind and thoughtful and we had a really lovely and delicious meal - thank you again! We were so happy and grateful! We also enjoyed the welcome gift of the locally made biscuits (and bought ourselves a few more the next day :-)). Burano is just a 45 minute Vaperetto journey from Venice (line 12, stop A) and the boats leave every twenty minutes at peak times, from early ‘til late. A single ticket was €9.50 for anyone over the age of six. The island with its colourful houses and canal is beautiful and if you stay here you can have it in the evening and early morning all to yourself! Burano was the perfect antidote to the squashed alleyways, expensive souvenirs and selfie-seeking crowds of Venice. The church in Burano is lovely and there is an interesting lace museum which you can visit.

• Charlotte (10/5): A dream place to stay. - Just an amazing place to stay, what a joy, from being on the island, to meeting Silva, sitting outside the house in the beautiful Burano and had all the things we needed. Air conditioning and wifi good too. Can’t fault it and will be back. Stairs are a bit tricky to navigate but we got used to it!
