We loved the room, so large and comfortable. Coffee makers in the room were great as I could make strong coffee. They kept the rooms immaculate. We thought there was a tennis court but it had been removed to build a new meeting center, disappointed

There isn’t a tennis court any more. One reason we booked was to play tennis every morning. We were disappointed. Some of the young men serving in the dinning room were very somber and sour. The older woman was amazing, engaging and welcoming.

They had a wedding on site that did not stop playing loud music until 1AM. The internet was not strong in our room. The mini split did not function correctly the first night and could not be fixed. We had to sleep in another room.

• Eric (8/5): Great location in a beautiful setting - We loved the location - about a 15 minute walk to town. The setting is beautiful. We really liked the restaurant for dinner We did not expect a $55 fee to use the gym. We were told about this during check in.

Also enjoyed walking around the community and all the flowers there and Bloom. My wife and I would have preferred a larger unit. But that's our problem. The staff was understaffed during our stay and wasn't responsive as they should have been. In part that could be due because the holiday weekend. The steam room never did work while we were there this is disappointing.

• Christine (10/5): Great place to stay when in Boquete. - Loved the restaurant and the concept of healthy eating and sustainability. Inside heated pool was awesome - didn't use the outside pool as it was cold. The inside pool was free to us as we did a spa treatment. Excellent massage!! We also used the gym and thought it was well equipt. Our hotel room was spacious. We didn't golf but the course looked great and cost to golf with rentals seemed reasonable. Loved the outdoor landscaping!! Not far from town center.

Todo muy cuidado y conveniente para pasar un fin de semana increíble con la familia. Lo que más valoré es que es pet friendly. Me hubiera gustado que la piscina tuviera agua templada para poder hacer uso de ella.

• Wenke (9/5): - Das Hotel hat eine wunderbare Lage, nur ein kurzer Weg zu Fuß in den Ort. Eingebettet in einen Golfplatz und zugangskontrolliert. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfreich bei Ausflügen (Danke an Haydee). Das Restaurant ist gut, auch das La Cantina kann man für Snacks oder Cocktails gut empfehlen. Das Zimmer (Altavista) fand ich ganz nett, normale Größe mit separatem Bad, Toilette und Kleiderecke. Hängematte auf der Terrasse würde es perfekt machen. Das Frühstück hatte leider keine große Auswahl, was für die Preisklasse anders sein sollte. Dass man für das bisschen Wellness Bereich extra zahlt, finde ich nicht in Ordnung (nur Pool, Sauna und Dampfbad, beides funktionierte nicht). Wenigstens bekommt man einmalig eine 30 min Massage dazu, sonst lohnt es nicht. Bei Feiern ist die Musik/Bass sehr weit zu hören.

• Yasibel (10/5): UNA EXPERIENCIA RELAJANTE Y ENCANTADORA - UN LUGAR DE ENSUEÑO - Me encantó el lugar, la habitación, el desayuno, la naturaleza, el entorno, las amenidades y la capilla, todo era espectacular. La atención del personal muy buena. Caminar en la mañana viendo los riachuelos y oyendo el ruido del agua y los pájaros no tiene precio.

• Colorado Hiker (4/5): Great eye candy but I probably won’t stay here again - The views, grounds, buildings, etc. are beautiful. Wonderful landscaping. Staff at restaurant was excellent. Absolute nature and beauty. Great location. Quiet and peaceful. Good air conditioning in the room. Reception staff weren’t very friendly. Within the resort, you have to walk on the roads (no walking paths!) and hope you don’t get run over by (fast driving) traffic. Very poor and slow WiFi. Limited breakfast selection and VERY small portions. Thin walls are very obvious when there are people in the adjoining rooms.

• paul (1/5): Beautiful location, awful staff/mgmt service - Boquette and the VE resort location next to the river are majestic. The hotel management needs to learn how to treat customers. Very bad service. (1) I booked through booking w/ a breakfast option. Then when I checked my Booking reservation, Booking had done a bait n switch on me by giving me a no breakfast option. (2) Seems Valle Escondido) (VE) mgmt gives you subpar service/rooms when you book through booking. They gave us a room w/ a bad AC (boquete is warm). We were sweating at night. Had to call VE staff at 1:30am to give us another room. We moved to another room at 1:30 am, but suffice to say, we did not sleep that night. Next morning I ask if i will be compensated for an awful night/stay so far and they did not- Simply said they were sorry and that was it. Avoid VE, at least until VE mgmt learns how to treat customers better. Also Avoid booking through Booking since they are sneaky with their reservations. i.e. offer breakfast, then give you a reservation w/o breakfast.

• Dorothy (10/5): Lovely surprise retreat vacation in the rainforest of Boquete - The hotel was exceptionally clean. We received an upgraded room because of the length of our stay. The onsite restaurant had delicious options for breakfast (included) and dinner. We rarely ate off-site because the hotel restaurant had vegan, vegetarian and meat options that were fresh, farm-to-table and excellently prepared. The staff anticipated our every need and provided terrific services for transportation and excursions. The pampering began when they picked us up at the hotel with fresh pressed beet juice and warm face cloths for the travel-weary and ended with our boxed breakfasts the day of our departure as we were leaving before we could have breakfast on-site. The hotel was an easy walk into town which we did daily in addition to adventure excursions. Nothing. It was perfect.

• Anne-marie (7/5): In need of customer service training - This is an utterly gorgeous spot, immaculately maintained and with flowers everywhere, set toward the end of a valley with creeks, streams, ponds and flowing water throughout. The rooms are large and facilities top notch but they n lack comfortable chairs inside the room. There is, however, a private patio with a hammock and comfortable arm chair outside the room. The staff: unsmiling, formal, no warmth and the food was awful. Breakfast was buffet style the usual American motel fare. Lunch and dinner were smothered in sauces.

• Guillaume (9/5): Best hotel in Boquete - beautiful surroundings - Nice and comfy room - great view over the valley. Reception staff was very friendly. Wifi in the room was very patchy (at best) and tv was not working.
• Sue (10/5): A stunning, relaxing and rejuvenating experience - Wow - this is a stunning property. It’s just beautiful- nestled into the valley - it’s peaceful, serene and relaxing. Our room was perfect. The facilities are great - the gym and pool are fantastic and the restaurant is excellent. As a vegan it was great to have really good food options. Also the staff everywhere were fantastic - in particular Roger, Luis and Hadee on the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
• Mario (7/5): Boasting an excellent location with beautiful scenery and a good breakfast, this hotel would benefit greatly from expand - Excellent location. Beautiful scenery. Good breakfast. The bathroom is too small, they should invest in modifying size of the entire room, to give more space to the bathroom. Poor wifi signal in my room.

• Yvette (8/5): Charming Hotel in Boquete. - Beautiful location with flowing rivers and gorgeous landscaping. The villas are charming. Meeting the owner of Valle Escondido was a hilite. She was lovely and interested in our experience at her hotel. The service at the restaurant was very slow and the spa was average.

• Patricia (9/5): It was relaxing to breathe such fresh air and be in touch with nature. - The landscaping, the view, the feeling of being in the great outdoors! For some rooms one had to park in front but the street is not a parking space.

• Leo (3/5): good start, horrible finish - great location important to avoid weekends as the location is a prime site for parties, next to the suite’s and they last until 2am. forget about a solution or any understanding from the management. Use this hotel during the week but forget about the weekends.

• Ann (9/5): Superb - The accommodations, food and staff were very good and helpful. The outdoor pool was not open which was a huge disappointment. At the end of a long trip, we like a resort that we can sit outside and relax and do some swimming. I had stayed here before and thought that it would be perfect. There was no mention that it would be closed for cleaning while we were there for 5 days and only the indoor pool available. The indoor pool is way too warm .
