Guest Reviews
- Darlene (10/5): - Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Hosts were fantastic to communicate with and all instructions were clear. We had a really memorable, lovely break that was much needed at the Poolway Cottage, thank you so much.
- Robin (7/5): Lovely area. Incredibly peaceful. The trail to the walking area around Hepburn springs is quite unstable. Maybe update t - Great communication from the owner. Unit was waiting for us with music and the table was set. The cleaning staff need to do a better job of checking the cleanliness of the crockery. All cups and plates were ‘grimy’ and needed a good scrub before they could be used.
You are in a local area famous for its mineral water. Why stock the fridge with coles brand plastic bottles of water? Leave a bottle of fresh mineral water and directions of where to go to fill your own bottles to take home.
- Michelle (9/5): - The beds were so comfy beautiful peaceful location
- Susan (7/5): Pleasant - The location wad great and it's very quiet. Beds are comfy for 1 person in each, lots of blankets. Fireplace was nice. Cottage was reasonably clean and private. A bit cluttered, lots of uneccessary nic nacs.
The bathrooms really need renovation but they're functional enough. There's no bench space in 1 so it was difficult getting ready.
No aircon in the bedroom would be an issue if it were hot.
A selection of lightweight blankets for the bed would have been good so one can layer, rather than 1 big warm doona
No dishwasher.
Needed more smaller kindling for the fire rather than 2 small pine slabs of wood as kindling which were a bit large to get the fire going. They could be cut in half.
- Jackie (10/5): The cottage was ideally located in a quiet setting amongst trees and catered for everything you might need for a wonderf - Such a beautifully situated setting amongst trees; so quiet and easily walkable to mineral springs and coffee shops. The cottage itself was toasty warm; clean and very welcoming upon our arrival. The fire was set up with extra wood for a cosy night in. It was all lovely.
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Cosy beautiful cottage. All facilities & some!
- Janine (9/5): Definitely a place we'd stay at again. - Great location and very peaceful and private. Living area is spacious and we stayed warm and cosy with the fire. Has a good kitchen that supplied everything we needed as well as a nice supply of staples. Very comfortable bed too!
- Nicole (8/5): Relaxing comfortable stay - Lovely cottage well presented
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous cottage with everything you need. Super comfortable bed.
- Leonie (8/5): Lovely cottage. Very warm. Just off the main street of Hepburn Springs so very handy to restaurants. -
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Benjamin (9/5): ChillOut weekend getaway - Great little cottage only a few mins away from Rubens @ Hepburn. The property was clean, comfortable and spacious too. Perfect for our group of four, plus it had a great layout with the bedrooms (with ensuite each) on either side of the main room. Would definitely recommend!
- Lauren (10/5): Easy, private and relaxing. Lovely surroundings, with walks, restaurants and day spas nearby. - I lovely, spacious cottage set amongst the trees. Great bird life, it was nice to have an ensuite each and the beds were super comfy.
- Andrew (9/5): A cozy country house very close to Hepburn Springs attractions. - The location is one block away from all the shops etc on the main road, but feels very isolated. It was a short walk to the mineral springs reserve (and the brewery!). There is a specific car space that's easy to get in/out of. The main room is a large hexagonal shared space with plenty of room for up to 4 people. It's tastefully decorated, and feels like a really cozy country house, polished floorboards and a wood heater for example. The views are lovely and even though there are residences close by, you don't really notice. At opposite ends of the main area is a bedroom, and off that a bathroom, so each bedroom has its own bathroom. It's a clever design. There were some food items provided for breakfast, as well as milk and coffee. It was hot the weekend we stayed (36 and 38 degrees) but the aircon did a good job. When you go for a walk to the nearby shops, there's plenty of bird life to enjoy, such as cockatoos, rosellas, rainbow lorikeets and yellow tailed black cockatoos. It's a lovely little house and if I ever stay in the area again, I would happily stay here again. The aussie alarm clock (the cockatoos) start screeching pretty early! That's the only thing to complain about, so not really a complaint.
- Karen (10/5): It was peace relaxing and the owneres couldn’t do enough for us to enjoy our stay , - The minute you walk into the cottage we all say wow wow , this was the best ever place we have all been to , l would highly recommend this place to visit, you wont be disappointed There was nothing, we all loved the place
- Gayle (9/5): Superb - Lovely cosy cottage, very comfortable and a beautiful location.
- Aidan (9/5): Superb -
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional - Ecerything
- Lance (10/5): Amazing little hidden gem cottage - Lovely cottage, everything clean, fireplace was perfect. Outside deck was amazing in the morning listening to the birds. Comfy bed. Nothing
- Stefanie (10/5): Gorgeous cottage, perfectly positioned—would recommend! - My friend and I really loved our stay here! The building itself is charming and perfectly sized, styled and positioned. Very comfortable facilities and thoughtful touches by the hosts. I particularly appreciated the mosquito spray provided so I could still enjoy the deck even though mozzies find me delicious! If I am being picky, the bathroom door in my bedroom stuck and could use a little TLC. Also, the super steep driveway was a bit terrifying for this timid driver! But they are tiny, inconsequential things.
- Pingbo (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay very much. We didn’t use the cooking stove, the bathtub, and the showers this time. - The cottage is quiet and close to Hepburn springs. It is even better than what we had expected. Nothing
- פרי (10/5): Exceptional -
