• Kym Helena (8/5): I had a lovely stay in Symi and would definitely return. - Location was great, not in the busyness of the centre and only a 5 minute walk to the centre and to the beach. Lovely view from the upper rooms with the balcony. The rooms had everything I needed and were very clean. The hosts were very accomodating to my requests and needs.

• Michael (8/5): Beautiful island location perfect. - Location great quiet part of Symi. Easy to get to. Beautiful view of harbor from room. No bathroom on 2nd level with bedroom. Ceiling a little low in sleeping area that was upstairs. Sleeping area was an upstairs loft. Anybody over 6’ feet could not be in bedroom due to ceiling. Better suited to younger people or kids. Stairs were quite steep & slippery since they were painted. Not a lot of room on steps to climb safely. Stairs quite steep, needs lighting to see at nighttime since no bathroom upstairs.

• Giuseppe (8/5): - L’appartamento è ristrutturato con cura, dotato di tutto il necessario e con una bella vista. Ottima la posizione, lontana dal caos ma vicina a spiagge e locali. Utilissima la lavatrice! Da lodare l’assistenza ricevuta sia da remoto, prima e durante il soggiorno, sia sul posto: un vero valore aggiunto. Purtroppo inizialmente abbiamo avuto qualche problema con degli scarafaggi, dovuti al caldo eccezionale del periodo sull’isola. Il personale però si è attivato prontamente per offrirci tutta l’assistenza necessaria e risolvere la situazione. Grazie!

• Vlasios (8/5): ΙΚΑΝΟΠΟΙΗΤΙΚΟ - Το κατάλυμα είναι ανακαινισμένο και σύγχρονο με εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα, πολύ άνετο και ξεκούραστο κρεβάτι, ψυγείο, κουζίνα, πλυντήριο ρούχων. Πολύ εξυπηρετική η διαχειρίστρια και ευγενέστατη. Η απεντόμωση θα έπρεπε να είναι πιό συχνή (κατσαρίδες). Για να είμαι δίκαιος μάθαμε ότι το πρόβλημα ήταν γενικότερο αλλά περιμένεις περισσότερα από ένα τέτοιο κατάλυμα. Η καμπίνα για το ντους είναι πολύ μικρή και αν κάποιος έχει λίγα κιλά ή είναι ψηλός θα δυσκολευτεί. Η σκάλα που οδηγεί στο κρεβάτι είναι στενή και απότομη. Η πρόσβαση στην τουαλέτα ήθελε το ανέβα- κατέβα στις σκάλες και για ανθρώπους κάποιας ηλικίας που έχουν τακτική επισκεψιμότητα την νύκτα....Αν υπάρξουν αυτές οι προσθήκες το κατάλυμα θα είναι πολύ καλό

• Elissa (7/5): It was OK. The Poseidon boat tour was a highlight however, I probably would not visit the island again. - The property is new and spacious. We were in apartment 1 so I can only comment on this. Unfortunately, I thought I had booked an upstairs property with a balcony but evidently I hadn’t which was disappointing. The property is quite away from town, so the location was unexpected. It was right in front of an area where boats get repaired, which was unsightly. I had had conversations with the property with regards to taxi transfers, and I had believed that they had organised a taxi to pick us up from the port however, this was not the case. We were stuck at the petrol station near the port for at least half an hour trying to work out how to get a taxi. Finally I was provided with several phone numbers that I could call. I had to call 4 different taxi companies before I found someone to pick us up. My husband is 6’3”and when he stood up in the mezzanine which housed the main bedroom his head touched the ceiling. Because we had no balcony there was nowhere to dry clothes. The staircase is quite dangerous as you hit your shins as you walk up and the length of the stairs does not allow you to walk down properly making it feel like you are going to fall down the stairs.

• Mark (10/5): We had a magnificent time in Symi , our apartment was great and a short walk to both the main Port and a small wonderful - Spacious , tidy , clean . It has everything you need for a self catering holiday . The stairs up to the bedroom are steep , very like the stairs in Amsterdam bars . The shower is a bit tight for space

• Joanne (9/5): Really good, it’s the second time we’ve stayed here and will certainly be back in the future - Nice and spacious, very clean and a good location. Near the boat yard away from the centre but close enough to walk in and the supermarket is just 5 minutes away. Had a washing machine which is great when traveling light. Communication with host was easy and efficient. Nothing to dislike really, Greeks need to discover fitted sheets, they don’t seem to be a feature in Greece. I would suggest having some cleaning equipment, dustpan and brush, cleaning spray and cloth. When staying over a week it would be good to be able to freshen up a bit.

• Janis (10/5): Marietta was a delight to deal with. THANKYOU. We loved our stay. Symi was everything we hoped it would be, plus more. P - Mostly everything. The view was beautiful, and in the quieter end of Symi town. Easy walk into main part. Wouldn’t suit visitors that didn’t like stairs to entrance, but they were safe and had handrail. Being on first level gave us the incredible view.

• Ros (9/5): Superb - Location. Location. Location. Porto Harani Seaside Apartments is the BEST location with an amazing view. Close enough to swimming, the Yialos town centre, supermarkets and tavernas. The boat repairs and launching provided great entertainment. This new accommodation is fresh and clean, and our housekeeper, Valentino, was a delight, keen to ensure everything was perfect. As I stayed for six weeks, adding more cookware, a good knife, some larger bowls and bread and butter plates are necessary for an extended stay. Great accommodation. Ros The kitchen bin was awful.
• Debbie (7/5): The view from the small balcony was lovely and location was fairly close to everything. - Fairly close to the port, but needed a taxi with heavy suitcases. Apartment was clean and view was lovely. Didn’t see anyone the whole time we were there, just collected a key and returned it to a box, although communication was quick via WhatsApp. No cleaning service or change of towels, the sheet didn’t fit on the mattress so lay in a wrinkled bed. Whilst there we had problems with the smoke alarm bleeping all through one night, too high to get to it but managed eventually standing on a chair on a table to take the battery out. We were without electric on and off for 3 days, there was also a water leak on the island so the water was turned off, we recognised that this was out of the hosts control though. It’s located next to where they repair boats so could be a bit noisy.

• Gk (3/5): Disapponting stay - unreated vacation - The property is easily accessible on the main road and it is a newly renovated property in a very good condition. 1. Very bad Noise insulation: I could hear all the noises from the apartment above and the noises in the middle of the night from the road (the property literally on the road). 2. Smell of painting: unbeatable smell that doesn’t go away 3. The apartment is very hot and probably in the summer would be even more. 4. Very tiny shower without a shelf to put on the shampoo 4. Service: I sent messages and complained at midnight and afterwards about the noise from above without results.

Marrietta was great even organised our lift to and from the ferry. The little tavern 3 paces away was great, just sat watching and feeding the fish.. fab Gyros. The beach is also great, small, clean, empty.. 1 min walk. Perfect place to stay.. booking again next year. Nothing
