• Rebecca (8/5): Location excellent - Location was excellent. Everything so easy. Restaurants at your doorstep. A bit dated but for the price I paid i cannot complain at all. No blinds on the windows but I saw someone else had wrote that in a review so I was prepared with a sleep mask! Towels smelled musty but that was an easy fix as there was a washing machine in the apartment and detergent. Again, for the price I paid it was a steal compared to everything else around. All the above were easy fixes. No drama. If you want your luxury go pay €300 a night some where else! I would stay there again in a heat beat.
• PZB123 (8/5): - The view was amazing. Location was better than you can imagine. Right on the marina. Alot of stairs upto the appartment. The appartment was decorated quite unique. The drawers in the kitchen were half hanging on and half hanging off. When we arrived there was washing in the washing machine, not sure if it was clean or dirty 🙈 for the price it was fine.
• Hayley (10/5): A gem of an Apartment - The apartment is in a fantastic location. The view from the picture window is stunning. Well kept, a great welcome and shown around the apartment on arrival. A little gem of a place Nothing I didn't like but the seats in TV area could be more comfortable.
• Gary (7/5): Our stay was great, the location was amazing although the stairs were a bit of a nightmare - Location was outstanding The property is tired, some of the kitchen drawers were broken and the overhead shower doesn’t work so had to use the hand held shower, needs investment asap.
• Leticia (10/5): Incrível - Boa comunicação com a Dona Manuela. A casa em si tinha tudo o que era preciso para 1 semana de férias, casa com vistas incríveis, bons momentos passados na varanda. Cama super confortável. A casa de banho é do tamanho necessário para 1 pessoa. Cozinha com todos os equipamentos necessários. Não tivemos problemas com nada, sempre que tínhamos alguma duvida ligávamos a dona Manuela que ela prontamente estava lá na casa. O ponto muito bom é o estacionamento privado visto que para estacionar lá em vilamoura é complicado. Os armários da cozinha estão um bocado estragados mas é perfeitamente normal devido ao uso que leva. Tenciono voltar O único problema pode ser ter de subir 3 andares com escadas mas já é um problema externo aos donos do apartamento.
• Ciaran (7/5): Super location but in need of a makeover! - The location is absolutely perfect! The people looking after the property were just lovely and so helpful. The concept of the apartment is fantastic. The issue is it's really very dated and in need of some work. It is a bit of a 'bachelor padish' apartment but in my opinion, it's tired and in need of a good refurb! I feel it's over priced but I don't think it's fair to judge, so I'm not going to post photos, but I'm happy to share with the owner or rental company because it can be so much more than it is and the people looking after it, can't do that!

• Becca (5/5): Needs a lot of work - Great location, close to everything you’d want in the area. There was plenty of closet space and the whole property itself was spacious. The bed was comfortable. It needs a very thorough clean, it was incredibly dusty and the shower needs a very very good clean. The bathroom needs a revamp, the toilet seat has been replaced but it’s clearly the wrong one as it was too small for the toilet itself. The whole bathroom smelled of mould and mildew, the curtain needs replacing and the drains need a proper clean. The shower itself is absolutely tiny, I’ve not seen anything like it. The main light in the kitchen is coming away from the ceiling and needs reattaching. All the rugs and furniture throughout the property are worn and need cleaning/replacing entirely. There is a big side cupboard in the downstairs area which is just full of items that appear to have been left by previous guests, including a pair of flip flops which is quite gross. There is also a random door to a cupboard that is just leaning against the shelving. There is one plug upstairs by the bed that needs urgent attention, when anything is plugged in you can very clearly hear the electricity - this is a major health hazard. Despite having a good sized balcony, there is no outdoor furniture, despite the advertised photos of the property. Finally, this property is not accessibility friendly. There are 7 flights of stairs and no elevator which made dragging a suitcase up and down the stairs a real challenge. Fortunately we were able to do this ourselves but others may struggle. Ultimately this property has excellent potential, but I would recommend it not be rented out again until it’s clean, tidied up and refreshed where desperately needed.

• Ben (7/5): Good - Booked here for 3 days as we wanted a base to explore Portugal and vilamoura marina is a nice little port. I’ll split this review into a few different sections to try and help people out and although there are quite a few negatives, for less than £50 a night this really is a bargain! Check in- This could have been dealt with better, in fact a lot better. I contacted the host 48 hours before as it states to do on booking.com and never heard anything. Once we arrived in Vilamoura we contacted the number provided and was then sent a WhatsApp message with a contact for Manuela, who is infact the lady who lives next door and manages the apartment. Manuela is lovely and very friendly but does not speak English. Parking is available but you need a fob to open the barrier to access the carpark, this fob (or what was left of it) is attached to the apartment keys so you need to find somewhere else to park before you check in. McDonald’s car park is large, free and close by so we used this. Access to the apartment is via a shared stairway and the apartment is on the very top floor. We didn’t mind as are both relatively young and fit but if you have accessibility issues then bear this in mind, it should really be mentioned in the advert. The apartment- So this is a decent sized apartment but not as big as it looks on the photos. A lot of the walls are mirrored which is difficult to see on the photos but still more than adequate for 2 people. It has clearly been designed to be more aesthetically pleasing than practical. We quickly realised however that the place was pretty tired and dirty, see photos of broken draws, missing cupboard doors etc. Given the amount of tiny, greasy handprints we found I can only imagine someone’s darling little cherubs have used this place as a Wacky warehouse and likely caused most of the damage.
• Elisha (8/5): Fab location and very spacious - The apartment was spacious, modern and in a great location on the Marina. Host was friendly and able to organise an early check in which was great. Some of the wardrobe / cupboard doors could do with fixing and the whole place could do with a deep clean (mostly dust). Cleaning cupboard was accessible so the areas we used we wiped down ourselves.

• Scotslass (5/5): Passable - The beds were very comfortable and very clean. As was the bedroom. The apartment was reasonably well stocked but having condiments such as salt, pepper would have been appreciated. Location was excellent Was reasonably priced for an apartment TV was wall mounted with a great selection of channels Mrs Manuela, the neighbour who gave us the keys was a very friendly, helpful lady. The host failed to mention that this apartment was up 3.5 flights of stairs. Not suitable for anyone with a mobility problem. It was also not disclosed that there was a small continuous leak in the apartment, exacerbated by using the washing machine. Despite the fact that it is advertised as free WiFi, for some reason the hostess was unwilling to give me the WiFi password and code. However the hostess was not responding to ANY messages apparently, not from myself or from the booking platform when I complained. When running a business, customer care and guests needs are important. Sadly there was little interest by the owner in addressing any problems, leading us to finally leave a day early when we managed to secure reasonably priced alternative accommodation. The lighting system is a nightmare and one light in particular failed to go off, leading to broken nights sleeps in a lit up room! It may be modern but it needs to work properly! The apartment badly needs curtains or blinds to block out the light. I imagine it would be a nightmare in the summer! The apartment has the potential to be lovely as it is in a great spot - it's a shame these issues have let it down. Seating was totally inadequate in the lounge - four pink velour swivel chairs, a very low down recliner, and a black swivel seat - randomly put together and not suitable for all. A lovely long sofa and the black swivel chair would have been so much comfortable and better. The kitchen unit cupboards and cutlery drawer were not closing properly and the door had come off one, displaying all the cleaning materials in fill view! The grey concrete walls made the rooms look very small. Bathroom was very small and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. This apartment needs some maintenance to fix doors, lighting and plumbing issues. The apartment block needs good stair lighting as it was off on more than one occasion leading us to use phone torch.
• Karl (9/5): Tivoli Vilamoura - Great location, close to the Marina and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Loved the beach being right next to the pool, so we felt safe and had no issues with road traffic. Food was just OK, personally I found most things lacked a bit of seasoning. The only real downside was the ongoing building work to extend the Marina although it was only an aesthetic thing, never a noise issue.
• Leonie (4/5): Dissapointment - The location was okay if you like a harbour life style. The matrassen were comfy. We had booked for 4 nights but left after the first night. The neighbor had welcomed us kindly although communication in English was hardly possible. She lent us kindly a clothes horse for a wash. The tourist location was noisy and the apartment was an industrial uninviting place. The bathroom was a concrete vault and very cramped shower. In the photos it seemed big because of the large mirrored walls. The kitchen was outdated and little, not really clean and no kettle. The towels smelled musty like the whole apartment did not smell really fresh. We did not feel really comfortable there and decided in all friendliness with our findings to check out. The owner did not respond, the neighbor apologized. We are rarely negative about our stays but this time it really deserves an improvement given the luxurious harbor location and expectations. But maybe you can't expect much for that price... it became an expensive stay -without refund- but in the end, we found a very nice replacement for the same money.
• Susan (7/5): Good - Location was fantastic, nice apartment, modern. Great views of the harbour. It wasn't that clean, lots of dust where you hang your clothes & that hangers were sticky. Needs a good thorough clean. Bathroom was really tiny.

• George (9/5): Great place to stay, would recommend. - Great apartment in a great location. Close to beach, restaurants and shops. Lovely hosts, who are very helpful. Also the bar downstairs (can’t remember the name) does €2 super bock during happy hour!! Shower is a little small in size. There are no curtains, so would recommend bringing an eye mask.
