- DippyDoyle92 (10/5): - I loved my 2 night stay, the house is immaculate. A lovely 2 minute stroll into Ironbridge.
- Christopher (9/5): Perfect for our needs! - The booking and check-in was seemless. The kitchen was well equipped - important to us as we cook most meals when away. We both work remotely and the WiFi connection was good. Location-wise it was quiet and just 10 mins from the Telford International Centre where we were attending a weekend event. Cake milk and butter was a nice touch. Shower was adequate but more powerful would be a bonus
- Peter (10/5): - Excellent location, spotlessly clean.

- Andy (10/5): We have used before and knew what to expect. Excellent stay, great location that was very convenient - Cleanliness, comfort and convenience. Location was superb, a quiet area, no night time noise. Pubs, restaurants and store within easy walking distance. Rooms were clean and tidy with with everything needed to hand. Nothing to note, everything was where it should be, cannot really find anything to complain about.
- Ian (10/5): Perfect - Nothing
- Rabia (10/5): Great place, welcoming, clean and comfortable stay! - I had a wonderful stay! Everything was amazing. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt warm and homely. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, they even left a little welcome cake, which was such a kind surprise. They also provided clear instructions for everything, including how to use the heating, which was especially helpful given the cold weather. There is dedicated parking for 2 cars which was also very convenient. All the facilities were great and made the stay very comfortable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!😊😊 Having to leave :(

Very clean
Comfy beds
Great location
- Dawn (10/5): Comfortable, cosy & convenient - Excellent location. Two dedicated parking spaces. Very clean, nicely decorated with added extras to make it homely. Kitchen had supplies above and beyond the usual tea & coffee - cupboard stocked with condiments, sauces etc. A cake and a welcome message was also a nice touch. We used this as a base to attend a wedding and will definitely use again (if available!) when visiting family that live in this area. Main light in the living room a bit too dim for our old eyes!
- BRYONY (9/5): - We loved the location, next door bakery, lovely pubs & co-op over the road.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great location, comfy beds. Nothing.
- Carol (8/5): Sisters birthday weekend - Style of the cottage, beautiful decor, cake was a nice touch, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, felt like home from home, appreciated the early access and that we could control the heating ourselves when needed, really nice to have the option to sit outside and have a coffee. Location was perfect for our visit to Blists Hill Victorian Town and the co op at the top of the road was handy. Friendly welcome in the Swan Taphouse where we went for lunch. Overall we had a lovely stay for a birthday celebration. Not that we didn't like but the bathroom needs updating to bring it to the same standard of the rest of the cottage. We found the lounge to be a little dim in the evening perhaps an extra lamp or a brighter light bulb in the overhead light.
- Emma (10/5): Beautiful cottage - Beautiful cottage with everything you need. We loved our short stay. None
- Charlotte (9/5): - Great location and everything you could need in the property
- Drew (10/5): Would love to stay again - Beautiful property, clean, great location, great host! NA
- Veronica (9/5): Comfortable stay right in Ironbridge in lovely well equipped house - Lovely property set right in Ironbridge - nice walks directly from the doorstep even to the museums - along the river or,if you’re fitupthe hill !
It’s well maintained and well equipped - comfortable and warm
Private designated parking outside the door.
The kitchen was well equipped too and the cake was a lovely welcome -Thanks for a great stay We thought it was a little dark until we changed the light bulb !!
Slightly noisy from motorbikes having fun on the main road but cannot help that !
A dishwasher may be the only extra I can possibly think of
- Jonathan (8/5): Lovely stay - Great location. Great cafe next door. Very well equipped Twin bedded room was a squeeze forc2 adults
- linda (9/5): Ironbridge Stay - Lovely cottage decorated well - thank you for the cake and milk.
Lovely area outside to enjoy a glass of wine or two ,- just a 10 min walk to the Water Rat where we had an amazing lunch staff were sensational would highly recommend- beds comfy Lovely bed linen and pillow couldnt fault that Settee and chair uncomfortable to sit for a while
- Roksana (10/5): A cosy, spotless cottage with everything you need and a super comfortable bed – we felt right at home and can’t wait to - We had a wonderful stay at Salthouse Cottage in Ironbridge! I’ve never slept so well in my life – the mattress was incredibly comfortable, even with occasional cars passing by. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen had all the essentials we needed.
The cottage felt so cosy and welcoming – it truly felt like a home away from home. The host was also fantastic, communicating with us regularly and responding quickly to all of my questions.
We’ll definitely be back! 🥰
- DAWN (10/5): Excellent location and host - Location is excellent Nothing to dislike
- Wilson (10/5): It was our second time of staying in this property which gave us a real home from home feeling as ev - The property had everything we needed the beds were comfortable and the place was spotlessly clean. Location is ideal for visiting Ironbridge museums and Blists village. The busy road and traffic noise was off putting especially when needing the windows open due to the hot weather. A recycling bin inside the property would have been good.
- Juliet (9/5): A perfect base for the Ironbridge museums and Shropshire - Salthouse Cottage is a very comfortable and well appointed cottage. A lot of thought has gone into the furnishings and decor.
Bec is a perfect host with excellent communication.
The decking was lovely to be able to enjoy the summer weather. As we visited during extremely hot weather, we had all the windows open. The only downside was hearing all the passing traffic, which was loud at times. For very light sleepers, this may be of concern.
- Beverley (9/5): Superb - Great location with good parking
Clean and comfortable
Could not fault it we had a lovely stay
- Helen (9/5): Lovely, clean cottage in a great location 😊 - Lovely cottage in an ideal location. Only a few minutes walk to shops & pubs/restaurants. It was clean & well equipped & we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were really friendly & left milk & a cake for us which was a lovely gesture. We would recommend Salthouse cottage for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the local area. Nothing
- Hollie (10/5): Cosy house in the heart of ironbridge - Our second time staying in this lovely place.
The house had everything we needed and is a super location too. We liked everything
- Valerie (9/5): Great little property in a fabulous location. - The location is fantastic and in strolling distance to the bridge. It has restaurants, pubs and amenities close by.
The cottage was beautifully presented and very comfortable with 2 parking spaces. The only negative was the shower which was a little more than a trickle of water. Luckily there was a hand held shower that worked off the excellent water pressure.
- Lorraine (7/5): Pleasant - Clean and exceptionally well stocked Very noisy floor boards which woke me up if anyone used the bathroom at night
- Zena (10/5): The perfect stay in a lovely property, close to all the attractions. - The property in an excellent location, and close to the local attractions. It was in an ideal position, tucked away off the main road but still in easy walking distance to the local shops and pubs. Nothing, our stay was really enjoyable.
- Rhiannon (10/5): Perfect - Convenient to explore Ironbridge museums.
Welcome cake and milk in fridge.
Tastefully decorated.
Safe and convenient parking.
- Vikki (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect cottage in a perfect location. Very clean and comfortable.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Wow, what a great property. Perfect central location, good sized property with everything you need, including pint of milk and cake! Thank you
- Sophie (10/5): Beautiful house in a brilliant location! - Beautiful house in a brilliant location! The house was absolutely perfect for me and my family, beautifully decorated and very clean, it felt like a home away from home. The location was brilliant for exploring Ironbridge and only 10-15 away from Telford shopping centre. We will definitely recommend and be back again ourselves 😊
- Michelle (10/5): Lovely cottage. Definitely a home away from home. Location was ideal for us - Cannot fault this cottage and the nice touches by the owner.
Location is ideal for walking along the river with plenty of places to eat if you don’t want to cook.
Has the convenience of a supermarket across the road too.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - The place was a good size and well and tastefully furnished and equipped. The location, next to the Severn, is very lovely.
- Linda (10/5): 10/10! - My colleagues were very impressed with the accommodation, they had nothing negative to report and would very much like to stay again! Location was very much enjoyed. Thank you so much for providing such a lovely property. Nothing
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Beautiful accommodation, very homely On a very busy road. When you open window in bedroom traffic noise very disturbing
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirsty (9/5): Superb - The layout, decor, location. Everything you need. Very cosy and cute. The heating downstairs, felt quite cool but blankets did the trick.
- Emma (9/5): Friendly feel and welcome to the place. Extremely comfortable beds, bedding and furniture. Immaculate and extremely we - Immaculate. Well laid out with lovely decor and plenty of storage. The power shower. But the alternative shower attached to the bath taps was available.
- Kieron (10/5): Will be back for sure - Everything I would buy the property given the chance one day 😁. Perfectly located .....very tastefully decorated tidy and clean warm and cosy .Felt like a proper home . That I had to leave ......

- Aliki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): Lovely cottage in perfect location. - This was a lovely cottage. warm and cosy and clean. Slept very well. Friendly vibe. Great parking and facilities. perfect location. Easy access to streaming channels. welcome cake was nice and heating was easy. communication with host was warm. Nice pubs in walking distance. Only minor, but a standing lamp in the corner of the lounge to the left of the kitchen door would enhance the lighting. Road noise soon settles in the evening. would stay again.
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Tracy (10/5): chilled in a perfect location - The location was perfect. The house was beautiful, clean and all facilities needed were provided. It was so nice to have milk and a cake left for us on our arrival, thank you :)
The weekend was planned for me and my sisters to go to Much Wenlock Christmas market, however the Great British weather had other plans. We didn't let this put us off, we still went into Much Wenlock, braving the wind and rain, and what a beautiful place. We visited a couple of the local pubs in Ironbridge, all very welcoming, the community and the people so so nice. The weather, but there is absolutely nothing that can be done to improve upon this.
- Deborah (10/5): This was a perfect location for visiting the ironbridge museums. Everything - It was clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming with everything we could possibly need. The recycling system was a bit confusing.
- Robin (9/5): Fitted our needs perfectly - Good clean and Well presented property had everything we needed including off road parking for two vehicles. supermarket across the road
- Andrew (10/5): Fantastic, will definitely rebook as it had everything we needed and more... - Superb accommodation, home from home and just what we needed for a busy stay over in Telford. The location was easy to find, spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a stress-free visit. Fresh linen and bedding provided. We took two cars so the rear of the property's two-car allocated parking spots was a nice touch as it meant we could leave one car all day with no worries. Also within easy reach of the high street, a large well stocked Co-Op and more importantly pubs and restaurants. Great area to explore. Nothing really comes o mind...maybe a pizza slicer!
- Sarah (10/5): Nice stay in a lovely little cottage. - Lovely little house, a short walk from the centre of Ironbridge, very clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed, handy coop across the road and nice cafe next door. The communication with the owner was good and she was very kind and helpful when we left some of our luggage behind. Nothing
- William (10/5): A comfortable, cosy stay in Ironbridge. - Well presented, clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen with all necessary utensils to cook for a family. Really well situated to walk into Ironbridge, and to explore the local area. Nothing, everything was finished and presented to a high standard.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Just like a home from home. I can't think of anything. A dishwasher might be nice, but that makes me lazy.
- John (10/5): Family weekend in Ironbridge - Perfect location, great communication with owners and property spotlessly clean
- Sandra (8/5): Very good -
- Abbie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place very clean and decorated lovely. Had milk coffee tea and cake available there for us aswell which was a lovely touch.

- Gary (9/5): Perfect accom for exploring locality incl parking for 2 cars - Welcome note, complimentary cake and milk and tea/coffee All good
- Deborah (9/5): Very nice, lovely property in a fantastic location - Lovely, very nice. Everything you would need. The door in the master bedroom was very slippery and the couch was quite low.

- Lynda (10/5): Excellent property ,fantastic location - Fantastic location- lovely property- very well equipped- terrace at the back was a bonus as was the parking- so close to high street and within walking distance to museums ,cafes and shops- lovely walks nearby Nothing- all excellent- we hope to return. We also had fantastic weather!
- Nicola (10/5): Fantastic stay, looking forward to coming back again 😊 - This is a beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you could need. It was clean, well laid out with lots of space for a family of 4. The location is brilliant, with a fantastic cafe right next door which we visited for a breakfast one morning and a convenience shop 2 minutes walk away. The 2 bonus parking spaces are handy and right next to the property. The owner was great at communicating and we were welcomed with fresh flowers and a coffee cake! So thoughtful. Ironbridge is also stunning.
- Penelope (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great stay here, everything you might need in the kitchen is there, so many places don’t have scissors in the kitchen drawer, this place had 3 pairs. Plenty of everything else too. It is in an ideal location, fantastic cafe just a short way away, the co-op at the end of the road, and pleasant easy walking into Ironbridge. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend
- Steven (9/5): Saltash Cottage is a fantastic place to stay - The location was excellent, ideal for the Bridge and most of the museums, the only one to drive to was Blists Hill.
Parking was a bonus as well, as we only used the car a couple of times for trips out of Ironbridge.
- Stacey (10/5): We will be back! - The house itself and the surrounding areas were both beautiful. The hosts had left a little gift for us and a lovely note wishing my daughter well in her competition! The cafe right next door was perfect for a lovely breakfast before a long day! Nothing. It was all perfect snd couldn't have asked for anything more
- Abby (10/5): Great cottage, well equipped, perfect location. - It was such a great location. Such easy access to everything and a cosy base to return to. Nothing
- Hollie (10/5): Gorgeous cottage, perfect location. - Absolutely gorgeous cottage!
It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. We would love to come again! Everything was great.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Location, outdoor patio
- Marilyn (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Spotlessly clean. Bedding Towels all top quality. Tea Coffee milk and a cake left how lovely I would highly recommend this accommodation.I have stayed in a 5 star Hotel and Salthouse Cottage is better by far. There is nothing negative I can honestly say .
- Clare (9/5): A brilliant choice for a stay in Ironbridge. - Charmingly decorated, spacious, well equipped cottage and very close to the amenities and sights of Ironbridge and surround. Beds very, very comfy and plush towels / linen. House smelt lovely from all the candles etc. Plenty of tea etc, (thanks for milk and cake) and cleaning supplies if needed, and even toiletries. Good to have a downstairs cloakroom. Handy to be able to enter from the back door by the parking space (also a bonus to have parking right on the door step). Sadly weather meant we couldn't sit on the terrace! Would def recommend for a stay in the area. If you're not a deep sleeper, the road noise can be a bit disturbing in the main bedroom- because of the wooden windows (which look nicer than UPVC so a trade off!). The other guest in our party was fine in the other bedroom.
- Christine (10/5): Thank you for the stay it was fantastic - Fabulous location definitely will spread the cottage and location to friends and family N/A
- Claire (10/5): We had a lovely time. -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing interior, beds were sooooo comfy!
- Tatat (10/5): Exceptional - Location, cleanliness, the cake and milk is an added bonus apart from there's a coffee and tea if you arrive late and have not bought any supplies. There is a convenient store and a nice cafeshop at the antique store. Parking area is a big plus. None
- Tamsin (9/5): Superb - Really good location for exploring all the Ironbridge museums. Clean and well equipped.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- B (9/5): Well maintained cosy cottage with gracious host - - Location (close to the tourist spots at Iron Bridge, good base for nearby places like Telford),
- Walking distance to the Co-op,
- Warm and cosy rooms (heating was perfect as it snowed during our stay there)
- Reasonably well-equipped kitchen
- Plumbing which works
- Lemon cake was a lovely welcoming gesture
- Bec responded quickly to our queries :) NIL
- Helen (10/5): Fabulous cosy modern cottage - We had a fantastic stay at this cosy modern cottage. Everything was clean, warm and welcoming. Lovely decor inside. The cottage is well situated at the foot of the village with plenty of walks nearby. There's nothing not to like! Could have done with a colander in the kitchen - but that's a very minor point.
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Great little cottage perfectly located in ironbridge. Fully equipped kitchen with nice little extras like tea and coffee and milk, seasonings!! Very handy thank you. We had a great stay.
- Manel (9/5): lovely cottage, throughly enjoyed everything. - Location, facilities and parking were all perfect!
