• Sue (10/5): A wonderful holiday in a superb apartment, located in a spectacularly beautiful part of Italy - The apartment was superbly located in the older part of town and only yards from the beach and some fabulous restaurants. A 10 minute stroll from the railway station - we flew to Girona and took the Aerolink bus from there to Sesti Ponente Station to get the train to Alassio (buy tickets online so you don't have to have your ticket validated at the station and risk a fine if you don't). The apartment was spacious, extremely well appointed, equipped with every possible requirement for a very comfortable stay and spotlessly clean. We particularly loved the cafe/bar down the road towards the beach opposite the church with the spectacular display of plants and herbs. Great for lunch and post beach drinks and complimentary snacks. We also arranged with the cafe owner to collect fresh paninis from her for our journey home. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like. Some may be disturbed by the distant noise of trains. We solved that by closing the shutters at night and slept like babies!

The location is perfect for our family – close to everything, especially sea. The host was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. He made us feel at home. Overall, a great experience! The apartment doesn’t have private parking, but this was clearly stated in the description, so it wasn’t a surprise. The host kindly helped us find a solution, so in the end, it wasn’t a problem.
