Guest Reviews
- Petr (9/5): Superb - Royal Pyramids Palace Residence, April 6–17. 2025
The apartment is huge – it provided plenty of privacy for two two-generation couples. The spacious terrace with a view of the pyramids was absolutely stunning. The kitchen is decently equipped, and the bed linen and towels were clean. The bathrooms could use a bit of a refresh, but they fine. There’s really nothing to complain about – communication with the apartment owner was great, and the property manager, Maha, organized trips for us based on our own itineraries.
A special mention and thanks goes to our wonderful driver Hassan – a great, kind, attentive, and caring man, who safely took us wherever we wanted to go, including a long trip to Amarna, and amazing monuments in the desert. Request it for each of your trip.
Two things that might bother some people – the ever-present dust, which is completely normal for this location (and pretty much any neighborhood by the desert). Nothing can really be done about it, and we didn’t mind. Also, neither the occasional street noise nor barking dogs were an issue for us. However, the apartment is in a building where large families with children live – and some of them are active even throughout the all night. There’s no such thing as nighttime quiet hours here, it is audible, but we solved it with earplugs. The roads aren’t quite finished yet, but it didn’t matter – taxis can easily reach the building. There are plenty of grocery stores, bakeries with delicious treats, pharmacies, etc. on the nearby main street. It felt completely safe, the locals are friendly – some even greet you and wave.
Near the neighborhood gate (the entrance to the district), you can catch a taxi to anywhere in Cairo or to the pyramids – just be ready to haggle over the price (for example we paid 250 EGP from Giza to the Egyptian Museum, it is ok). Uber is even cheaper.
If everything goes well, we’re planning to return to the apartment for a few days this October.

- Salma (10/5): It was an amazing holiday and we really enjoyed Egypt. - Property was beautiful just overlying the pyramids.
The streets were a bit busy underneath and the area is not very developed. The property is beautiful and with beautiful views
- Sai (10/5): Very Good Stay - Very good stay address on booking.com does not match with google maps
- Sarah (10/5): Dreams come true - Beautiful and location was amazing. Everything was perfect
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - We are a family of 6 from South Africa. The property was on a great location close to Giza. Wonderfully spacious and we loved the antique furniture, felt like we had our own palace! We only had a short stay but will definitely book again on our next trip! On top of that, Jana was an extremely wonderful and friendly host, organizing our entire schedule in Cairo!
- Van (10/5): I loved it - The balcony was amazing with pyramids veiws
- Stewart (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and amazing residence!

- Wheeler (9/5): Superb - Exceptional Stay with an Amazing Host
Our stay at Jana's villa was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Jana genuinely cared for us and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. When we faced an issue, she resolved it quickly and efficiently, which made a huge difference in our experience.
The house itself was beautiful, and the wrap-around deck with a view of the pyramids exceeded our expectations. We were treated to a delightful dinner at the accommodation, complete with a cook and groceries provided by Jana, making our evening truly special.
The location is perfect, just a short distance from the Grand Egyptian Museum and the new gates to the pyramids, making it convenient to explore the area.
Overall, we had an unforgettable time, and we can't thank Jana enough for her hospitality. We highly recommend Nothing really to not like if you enjoy having your own place and not staying in hotels.
