- Smita (9/5): Best location. Must visit spot for a relaxing and calm stay. - Best location, absolutely overlooking Bhimtal. Its more like a cosy house. It is the last property at the end of the road, in the middle of the market area, so access to basic and quick amenities in not a problem at all. Sightly elevated so free from the noise of the road and market. Just outside the homestay there is a walk through by which the lake can be accessed and ample lake side seating is available. We missed out due to time but the boating in the lake must be relaxing and the ride takes you to a mid lake breakfast cafe ! I just wish that the homestay had an in house restaurant or some sort of food option. The caretaker Mr. Gaurav Negi and his team of boys, tried his level best to provide us the best of food options available in the vicinity, which was average.
