There were over one hundred cockroaches in villa boomkip. The moment pest control arrived, they could smell a large plague was present at villa boomkip. The hostess and owner addressed it as something that was normal on the island. We were also made aware that the hostess entered villa boomkip on multiple occasions without prior notification. The lounge cushions at the pool were riddled with mold and the pool was sagging which made it easy to stumble and fall. There are no shadowy places by the pool and the sun umbrella that is provided gets blows into the air when opened. Lastly, the car rental agency that is recommended by villa boomkip in Curacao is unreliable, as we reserved a rental car months in advance and did not receive the car during our stay. The pictures of this accommodation are beautiful but the real situation is far from beautiful.
