It looked run down and needed some - I like the location and the facilities been here before this room was not like the others we have stayed in. The ceiling was mouldy the walls where broken around the bottom there was no cutlery in the draw 1 folk No knives the bathroom was not clean.

Our cups/mugs had chips and stains on them. The fridge was literally falling out of the cupboard space. The bin in the kitchen still had food in it from previous guests. The balcony has bird poo all over it. Overall, the apartment needed a deep clean.

• Kristy (3/5): Didn’t feel clean - That it had a kitchen Dirty and uncleaned upon checking in- bin wasn’t emptied, dirty floors, bed sheets had stains, dirty couch/couches, ripped/dirty dining chairs. (Toilet made noises all night) we have two small children so was very disappointing and felt very germy having the children on the floor.

• Riddhi (3/5): Definitely one to put on my "never stay there again" list - The location was good as it was tucked away from the main parts of the citt The carpet smelt funny, the kettle has a thick layer of build up on the bottom, there was no extra blanket in the wardrobe, no bottle/s of water complementary in the fridge, no complementary milk in the fridge to go with the coffee sachets they provide. There's probably more but at this minute do not remember.

• Beckymae (6/5): OK apartments at a good cost - These apartments are fine, well priced and clean. There is free parking which was great for us, even though it does get busy. Staff were lovely too. Beds were very comfortable and we slept well. There's no sink dedicated for kitchen stuff, so you have to wash everything in the bathroom sink, not very hygienic. There's a kettle, toaster and microwave and that's it for cooking stuff. The pool did not look appealing, it had a scum of oil on top and was kinda murky. The location is quite far from the main town, reflective in the price, so if you do not have a car, it's only Ubers/taxis or a 30 min walk into town. There are no shops or cafes etc nearby either and the fridge is tiny, so you cannot really stock up. You can't really visit the nearby beach due to crocs

• Wittmann (4/5): Find elsewhere to stay very disappointed - The location of the property was ideal for us but unfortunately that was all we liked. The property was dirty and had a incredibly unpleasant smell of cigarette through out the moment you open the door, there was dirty tea towels and pillow cases left on the table in the kitchen, the bedding was dirty and blood stained, there was dead cockroaches through out the cupboards and accumulating dirt and dust everywhere the back door could hardly open due to damage there was also hair all over the couches. for the amount we paid for one night we were very disappointed we raised concerns with the front staff an nothing was done.

• Ashleigh (3/5): - It was clean The aircon didnt work, barely got to 24degrees, the tap in the vanity was loose, the blinds didnt even cover the windows and the sunlight was unbearable and I couldn't sleep. The hotel was NOT sound proof. I could hear absolutely everything. I was disappointed massively considering I was there to get away from a DV situation and needed to feel safe and get some sleep.
• Maree (8/5): Very comfortable - Comfortable and well-appointed as far as amenities. Short walk to a very nice park and the beach. Beach is just for walking, swimming is not encouraged according to signage, however there is a very nice swimming pool at Pacific Sands. We did not have a car, so it was a little too remote from shops and restaurants. There was the bare minimum of detergents, soaps and coffee cups. I could not find the hair dryer.

• Jana (5/5): Nice place just needs more attention to the cleaning. - The location has a nice view It could have been cleaned properly. And although I had stated that there would be 2 adults aged 41 and 19 and a 17 year old boy it said there was 2 single beds and a double there was not. We were happy to split the beds in half but in doing so there was rubbish under the bed. When we emptied the rubbish from the bin all of the bottom of the bin looked like it had never been cleaned and then the doona that my daughter got out of the cupboard to use had stains all over it and again looked like it had never been washed.

The sheets and quilt were stained with who knows what. The curtains were torn. No globe in the bedside lamp. Not enough parking. Fridge door opened the wrong way. Holes in the corner of the walls. Reception not very friendly and no interaction when coming in and out Of the building.

Extra bedding was good but wasn’t sure if they were clean as they weren’t folded like everything else. The cleaners that came next door were extremely loud, banging and slamming. The yelling down the corridor also. Mattress was old you can feel the springs.

I took photos and these were emailed to the staff, who did respond very quickly, however even through promised to do a deep clean, issue was still not rectified. unclean, service promised but not adhered to. Dissapointed. it wasnt cheap accomodation. Rating does not reflect actual property.
