• Emma (5/5): Dirty apartment when we arrived but else overall okay - Overall an okay stay. The apartment contains the most basic equipments you will need. We liked that the doors were locked electronically. Very dirty apartment when we arrived 😩 The floor was sticky and dirty everywhere. There were stains on the floor, walls and one on the duvet covers. At least the cleaning staff arrived the day after but we had to spend the first night in dirt. The apartment is not very soundproofed.

• Jeff (7/5): Overall, great place for a week's stay in Tokyo. - Great location, just outside the busy Shinjuku area but close enough for a 5 minute walk there. Close to transit stations too to get you antwhere in the city. The building was secure and apartment had enough amenities to make it comfortable (but tight). Great food choices within a few blocks. The apartment was small for 3 adults and had a bit of a moldy smell especially in the bathroom. Apartment was clean though. No bidet, just a heated seat. Could have used curtains on the kitchen windows, it would have helped with the bright lights from the video boards on the buildings.

Had everything you need for comfortable stay for 2 people. There was no laundry detergent in our apartment, I texted the staff about that and they brought it to us in a matter of hours. Great service It was a bit loud at night because of the ambulances passing by

• Gal (6/5): Small place, amazing location. - The location was Amazing, right next to the apartment you can find Convenience storss, Don Quijote and a lot of places to eat. We book for 4 days and another apartment from the same for the another 11 days. This was the first apartment and when we arrive, the place wasn’t clean and there wasn’t a place to hang the laundry. There was laundry hanger, but no place to actually hang it so we improvised. The place is very small and not fit for 3 people with luggages. The second apartment (same host, same building) was much cleaner and a little bit more spacious.

We book for 4 days and another apartment from the same for the another 11 days. This was the second apartment and when we arrive to the first apartment (same host, same building), the place wasn’t clean and there wasn’t a place to hang the laundry. There was laundry hanger, but no place to actually hang it so we improvised. The place is very small and not fit for 3 people with luggages. The second apartment (this apartment) was much cleaner and a little bit more spacious, and the hanger for the laundry was in a place we can actually use it.

• Alexandre (6/5): Good overall but staff did not notice us that we couldn’t lock the door. - Good location It was not possible to lock the door. Staff knew it and did not tell us ? How is that even possible to not being able to lock the door and do not give a notice to the users ? We had to call the call center and talk with someone who has a really low-level English even if I pressed « English » before talking to someone. Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with people that don’t speak English but if you give me the possibility to discuss with someone that speaks English, I would like to speak with someone who knows more than 50 words in English.

• O (8/5): - Godzilla head is a 5 min walk south. Donkijote is a 2 minute walk and its not crowded with tourists. Restaurants are near and lots of fun things to do are near. Mostly Everything about this place was great except..... Ambulance sirens......sirens sirens and more sirens. It's like someone passes away or injured every 5 second. It's hard to sleep with the place being near a main road.

The hair dryer and TV remote were broken. We were 4 people staying for 5 nights, but we were only provided with one and a half rolls of toilet paper. It was too loud at night to fall asleep.

• Porchia (7/5): Nice stay in the heart or the city - The apartment is in the middle of Shinjuku. Close to tons of restaurants, bars, and convenience stores The washer/dryer combo didn’t work very well. Clothes didn’t seem as fresh afterwards and often needed to hang dry after each use

• Stephen (8/5): Great location, convenient and ideally located to enjoy Tokyo. - Location is great - in between three railway stations. Easy walk into Shinjuku Centre. Washing machine gave us the opportunity to travel light. Can get noisy sometimes with sirens, but you are in a city of 40M people. Not a real problem. This is not a 5 star apartment and they dont claim to be. It certainly is a good mid range apartment.

• Sarah (5/5): Passable - Good location. Nice access via the codes (no key to carry round). The washing machine was good. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Towels provided also with toothbrush and the razor was a nice extra. It's really could do with a deep clean. There was lots of dust, the controls on the cooker were dirty and greasy (we didn't use this though) and the bathroom could do with mold being removed and clean sponge. The balcony could also do with a clean. Pillows were like bean bag material - these were not comfortable. Dryer (function on washing machine) was temperamental. We cleaned out the fluff trap restarted the cycle and it came up with the same error again. Luckily it was warm enough to dry clothes on the balcony the next day. Could have done with some hand soap. Sign in the ground floor lift says these apartments shouldn't be used for holiday let's, which made us a bit uncomfortable.

Dust, hair and mildew build up in the corners and there was a dank smell from the washing machine. I’m sure it would be back to its usual good mid-price option with a decent clean.

However, I noticed that while the common areas were well-maintained, hidden areas such as corners, under furniture, and less visible spots had a significant amount of dust. It would greatly enhance the overall experience if these areas received more attention during cleaning. Not far from a few different stations but about a ten minute walk to three or four stations. It's very close to ShinOkubo which is full of awesome Korean restaurants. It's also near a lot of girls clubs and things like that. Not a problem if you don't want it to be but good to know. The price is very good. The towels didn't smell very clean. The whole apartment was dusty. Like the top of the fridge area was very dusty. Also a weird thing is that there are signs along the outside that say the apartment doesn't allow vacation rentals. Overall the room just felt a little dingy. Also the pillows felt like bean bags. Not comfortable at all.

Host is helpful and responsive. Ambulance noise at night due to location near hospital, room is a bit cramped for family of 4. Property is hard to find at the first place and unfamiliar/unclear check-in process.

• Maree (8/5): An ok place to stay. - It was advertised as an apartment but was, in fact, a studio. There's a small table and some stools but no comfortable chairs. The bathroom plumbing needs some maintenance but there is a washing machine. Taking all of that into consideration it was still a better place to stay than a hotel. It's really noisy at night, ambulances were constantly going past all night and we could hear the neighbours moving about at 4am every morning.

• Roschelle (8/5): Good little apartment close to subway - Nice little apartment close to the subway and short walk to Shinjuku. Has everything you need for a week long stay. Very clean and tidy. The washing machine was a blessing after days of humid heat. Thoughtful extras like soaps, toothbrushes, razors, Washing detergents for dishes and clothes. Close to many restaurants in the area. Supermarket next door. We needed to buy bottled water as the water tasted terrible. The fold out bed was not functional as a bed (due it being so uncomfortable with very little padding) and or as a lounge( the metal frame protruding out). A toaster would be a welcome addition.
