• ROCIO (1/5): La peor experiencia en años. - Lo único bueno que puedo decir y no tiene ningún mérito es la ubicación cercana al aeropuerto. Nada. Comunicación con el dueño casi inexistente. No nos dio las pautas para el check in hasta las 15:00 de la tarde y no nos daba señales de vida desde el día anterior. Tuve que mandar un correo y hablar con atención al cliente para conseguir las indicaciones. A nuestra llegada es un sótano. Que eso dentro de lo malo nos daba igual. Pero estaba sucio todo. Adjunto fotos. Sábanas rotas, sucias. El retrete lleno de orina cómo se ve en las fotos. El ruido de los habitantes del piso de arriba (que es la misma casa pero separada por una puerta) era insufrible. Eran las 23:00 y ahí arriba parecía que bailaban con tacones. No vayas con la idea de descansar. Llevo muchos años viajando y nunca jamás he tenido estos problemas y esta suciedad en un alojamiento

• Silke (8/5): Very good - Very nice landlord, even though the apartment was overbooked, the landlord offered me another, better apartment at no extra cost.
• Fariba (4/5): Disappointing - .The location was good, near downtown and bus station and restaurants. The mattress and towels were not cleaned and were stained. There were two plastic glasses that are unsafe to use for hot drinks and no other glasses. There were no paper towels and tissues

• Joseph (10/5): Name says it all - David has amazing communication. There was no issue finding the place. He was very descriptive on where to go his instructions were great. Felt right at home when I arrived. I was hoping to get the place for a few more days but was already booked. Recommend definitely looking at staying there on a trip. Close to downtown and there is a tim Hortons just down a block I have no complaints about anything
• Steven (10/5): Affordable Option Close to Calgary Airport - Very spacious and clean basement apartment near YYC airport. Complete with appliances and furniture. Fast internet with a big smart TV. Easy self-check-in and out. Would have been nice to meet the owner :)

• Hadi (8/5): Communication should be made a little bit easier by using WhatsApp instead of text message. - The location The sound of people walking, talking and showering from upper unit. The pillows are too thin.
• Mason (1/5): Worst I’ve ever seen in my life - Didn’t get through the front doors to like it. He double booked us on the room, ignored all calls and text for a week. Finally he answered and wouldn’t give a refund! The people who stayed in our booking instead of us said he double booked a lot and it’s a few reviews on here about it.

• Génesis (5/5): Cheap for one night stand… no long stays recommended. You won’t rest here - The location is central, and the manager try his best to accommodate your needs (and the service the reservation said you should received) The living room smell like food since the moment we entered, we never entered that room again. The place was full of bugs when we arrived (we had to spread off all over the rooms). There was no hair dryer and towels when we arrived, so we had to wait for them to bring them over. The bed is not comfortable at all. And it’s impossible to have a good rest, since you will hear everything from the department above of you (everything, including when someone walks, it seems like heavy steps but it just bad sound isolation)

We did not realise it was a residential house in an ordinary (non commercial) street. We thought Google maps had incorrect address..Drove around the block twice!! A lovely neighbour ended up helping us. Perhaps a sign indicating “Holiday Stay” would help, plus a clearer description on booking.com

• Nicole (6/5): Pleasant - The accomodation had everything we needed for our short stay. It is located in a quiet street and parking was easy. The host didn't answer my message via booking before our arrival, so as we arrived at night we stood in front of closed doors. After calling him and clarifying confirmation via whatsapp with the help of our neighbours, he finally gave us the code for the door. It wasn't a nice experience at the arrival. Furthermore, you could hear everything from the upstairs neighbours and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Host the whole day was not responding to my emails (that was preferred way of contact) where I was asking about check in information. When I got to the property 3 hours after check in time and finally got to talk to him on the phone he didn’t believe me I reserved the apartment and wanted me to send my passport and confirmation of reservation pictures as a proof. He was rude and was acting strange, when he was still on the phone with me he was sending me text messages. The whole situation was bizarre and little bit too shady for me and was taking very long. It was already way past the check in time and I was running late for an event I came to Calgary for so I decided to go to another place. After I told him that, he started to answer to my emails from earlier and informed booking that I didn’t come so now it’s harder for me to get a refund. Also, some people I met on the property told me that the day before there was lady who had exactly the same problem and she also didn’t stay. !!! I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS HOST!!!

Also, the wall have no isolation, we could hear everything from the neighbord. The owner propose us a compensation for the inconvenience of the broken tv and he didn’t do it

Owner seems nice but he was a little hard to get ahold of and we weren't able to check in until an hour after the stated time. Overall a pleasant stay just a couple of things that need improving.
