- Errol (6/5): Small room with lovely view from balcony - The room is within an apartment that you share with the retired hosts on the second floor in a complex which offers lovely views of the ocean and mountain. Within walking distance to good restaurants and the beach There is a TV in the bedroom but has no channels. The WiFi was not working. The bar fridge was not in the room as in the pictures but in the lounge. After returning from the beach on Thursday afternoon we both had a shower and very soon had no hot water. On mentioning this to the hosts partner Tabea she switched it back on and said that she switches the geyser off in the mornings. We had to send copies of both my partners and my identity documents, cell phone numbers and vehicle make. colour and registration number several days prior to checking in. We experienced major problems in gaining access to the complex and on the 3rd day we were notified that our access had been denied. This was taken up with Cliff the host who was very apologetic about the situation, he was unable to have this resolved. For our entire 8 day stay we had an issue with the security who control the gate access which wasted ten minutes each time when leaving or entering the complex with the vehicle

- Nomer (3/5): Disappointed - Booking.com did not tell us that we were sharing our accommodation with the owners Sharing with the owners. We felt like staying in a jail as when we were at our accommodation we only stayed in our room as we felt like intruding into the privacy of the owners.

- Pienaar (9/5): Accommodating and a pleasure to stay with people that understand all my needs - I was happy with the communication up on arrival and before departure. I was able to move from a room with a sharing bathroom to a room with my own bathroom, this made the stay much better as I am a very private person. Will definitely call again when I am visiting cape town again.
- Noluvuyo (1/5): Horrible hosts with a horrible room - Nothing I didn’t like anything about the property as the host did not let me stay, he turned me away when I was trying to check in, telling me that he is fully booked, was blatantly rude during my call to find out why I can’t stay. Ignored me and blocked me, then came back the next day to unblock me and pretend that he wants to help me in getting my refund from booking.com, which he clearly doesn’t care about.
