Hayden (6/5): Nice place but customer service could improve. - We were so happy to find a property large enough to accommodate our group. The property itself was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Our first night at the property, we realized that the cot was not functional. The bed was originally listed as a sofa bed. After our first night, we immediately contacted the owner to inform her that the bed was broken and one of our group members was sleeping on the couch. A maintenance person arrived and informed us that it was unlikely that a replacement would be in before our stay ended. Instead of offering us a partial refund, which we feel would’ve been appropriate given one of our group members slept on a small couch for the entire trip, the owner told us that she “wouldn’t charge us” for the ALREADY broken bed in exchange for a positive review. We certainly don’t feel as though that customer service was at all deserving of a positive review and don’t appreciate being blackmailed for something that was not our fault and not on our responsibility.
