• Nguyen (10/5): Exceptional - We love the house. Marissa makes sure there is everything you need even spices in the kitchen :). The location is near the Prospect Lake, we went for a run in the morning and an afternoon sun bathing. It's near downtown and most attractions in Colorado Springs. Definitely rent this again when we come back to Colorado Springs. Thank you Marissa for your friendly and excellent host. None.

• Natasha (10/5): Great getaway - This house was convenient to downtown Colorado Springs. It was so cute and had everything you would need and then some. It included all kitchen necessities and non-necessities and all bathroom items like shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even face wash. No detail went unnoticed. The pillows were my least favorite part, but that was not a big deal at all. Overall, no complaints.
• Danielle (7/5): Great location for easily getting around the tourist sites of Volorsfo Springs - Location is ideal, so close to everything and nice quiet neighborhood. Couldn’t get ceiling fans to work in either bedroom, sink in bathroom clogged up—think design prevents water from flowing into drain properly, floor in primary bedroom was sticky fans hadn’t been dusted in ages, house smelled like pet urine or mustiness. There are uneven steps to enter kitchen from main room, would suggest a motion light to help people notice steps. Kind of dangerous.

Location is in Colorado Springs but you NEED a car or use transportation as Lyft or Uber as you will find nothing around the house.

The bathroom door isn't very private. And as a parent I wish there could have been an extra lock of the doors, my 4 year old would always unlock the deadbolt.

• Christine (8/5): Lovely holiday property with lovely host but the location let me down big time. - Very helpful friendly host. Easy to contact the host by messaging. A small and clean holiday cottage with all the kitchen essentials in a quiet residential area, suitable for 1 - 3 people. Ideal rural retreat away from hectic city life only if you have a car with you to get to the property and to drive around the area. The location was not ideal if you decide not to drive yourself or do not have someone local to drive you around. You do need a car to get to this place from downtown or airport. I flew from London, arrived at the city centre of Colorado Springs at 9pm (booked a taxi in advance but it did not turn up. Booked another one after 1.5 hours' waiting that didn't turn up either!). No local taxi service to get to the property from downtown Colorado Springs. It is NOT within walking distance from downtown. I had to stay in a hotel in downtown for my first night after waiting for a taxi for over 3 hours in freezing cold (Minus 20 degrees in Celsius), having to pay for the hotel despite I had this place booked for the night just because there was no means to get to the property from downtown. I was nearly frozen to death until I got myself to a nearest hotel in sight in downtown. No local information centre or police station to get help if your are stranded in the city with no one to help locally as I was. This is a very rural area if you are used to big city conveniences. Warning: There are 2 streets with the same name as the property's which are totally different areas (they are NOT connected! Misleading! One in downtown, the other where the property is away from downtown.) - if you find the street name of the property from downtown, that ends in dead end with unused bush land, you cannot pass through this area to get to the property. You have to take a very long detour to get to the street where the property is. Even with google map or sat nav, it is hard to find the actual street where this property is from downtown because this property is far away from the named street in downtown that is not even connected. I wasted hours looking for the property from downtown with sat nav google map, walking down the named street which turned out Not connected to the property. Very frustrating. Lovely holiday property with lovely host but the location let me down big time.

• Christoph (9/5): When we came back to colorado springs, i would look here first, if the Tiny House is available - Thanks, Merissa for sharing your tiny Colorado Springs House! it looks so nice, as if it it comes out of the 'fixer upper' series :-) We we were abosolutly positive surprised how calm and safe the East Cucarra Street is! And direct in front of the house is a street lantern, so it is bright and safe in the night :-) The House is bigger than described: I estimate the bigger Sleeproom 16m², the smaller 12m², the kitchen 15m², the living room 14m² and the bath 5m² The Washbasin in the Bathroom shold be 4cm nearer to the water tap, then it would be easier to wash your hands....

• Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - This house was wonderful and was exactly as it was described. It is close to everything that you want to do in Colorado Springs. We did Garden of the God's, Pikes Peak, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, the Olympic Training Facility, Cave of the Winds, 7 Falls, and so much more! Communication with the owner was amazing and she was quick to respond!
