Guest Reviews
- Peter (7/5): - Basic, but nice staff. Too basic

- Jess (7/5): - Staff were very friendly but not a lot of English. Great location and our room had a lovely view but there were a lot of stairs! Breakfast was nice, simple bread and jam with coffee and juice. Bathroom was old and little rough but the room was clean. Lots of stairs, we were ok but was quite tiring to get there but nice and close to the main square. Bathroom was old and little rough.

- Jonathan (9/5): - Es hat alles gepasst 👍.
- JAYAVEERA SANKAR REDDY (10/5): Value for money - The property was quite clean and peaceful. The good thing I like is they start breakfast for 5.30 which ver comfortable for tourist who visit 7 am slot. The staff was so friendly. There should be ventilation in bathroomis the only thing I suggest
- Sofia (6/5): Could be better, good location - Good position in the center, comfortable bed and clean. Shower didn’t have enought water for two people, the breakfast was very poor and the room was humid.
- Anonymous (10/5): Quiet and comfly room in the center - The local is pretty good near everything yiou.
The size of the room was great with hot shower and clean and comfy bed.
It was quiet the entire stay, só it was perfect to sleep!
The host was very nice and solve everything we needed.
The breakfast was great. Simple but good. The only think they must fix is the outlets of the Rooms. We had to change the room because they didn’t work properly ( but you can also charge the phone downstairs ).
For the amount we paid it was pretty good.
- Gutierrez (10/5): Cleverest good -
- Cédric (1/5): Scam hotel - The hotel is a scam.
No responses to any inquiries or issues. The host wasn't even present to check us in. They were at a local party. We had to book another hotel.
Didn't even get our money back.
- Vishnu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emmy (10/5): Amazing stay - We had an incredible experience staying here. The service was truly the best — the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk from everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!
- Vasilis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mmg (1/5): Mould everywhere. Forced to pay extra taxes which isn’t written anywhere. - Not a lot. The rooms are full with mould. We told the receptionist that we are allergic and it‘s very unhealthy. They wanted us to cancel the booking online which resulted in us having to pay the full amount to booking (paid at the hotel already). We obv. Didn’t do that and the manager ended up canceling so we couldn’t give a review. They also made us pay for taxes which is not written online. The couple checking in after us didn’t have to pay the booking taxes.
At the end they didn’t give us the breakfast bc they said we got some money back ( which were the taxes we didn’t have to pay anyways).
- Kamon (4/5): Disappointing - I like the location of the hotel, it only takes a couple of minutes to downtown, but it's very high with so many steps. The wifi in my room is not working, and the hot shower is not quite working overall just stays for 2 nights for Macchu Picchu
- Mandy (2/5): Do not stay here. - Near station at night. Moldy, run down, paint falling off walls. Toilet seat broken. Breakfast was not edible. Felt just a small step above a hostel
- Susan (7/5): Good - Good quiet location 5 min walk to buy next day tickets Breakfast supposed to start at 5 am but not til after 6(a problem when bus leaves at 6)Bed bugs !!
- Coppari (6/5): Ok - Great location The hotel was loud at night, toilet have flushing problems ( guys at the reception was very nice and got it solved).
- George (7/5): Good -
- Kathy (4/5): Disappointing - The location is great, and the breakfast was good. Our room was pretty dirty. There was hair on the floor and the bedding, and a dirty wet washcloth hanging on the shower bar covered in hair and brown stains. There was no shower curtain so the entire bathroom was soaked every time we showered. The pillows were not comfortable either.
- Wendy (8/5): Great experience - The staff is excellent and the breakfast was really good. The location is good but too many stairs.
- Yumiko (7/5): Good - Friendly staff When arrived they said they have upgraded my room with my expense as they didn’t have the room I booked available. That wouldn’t have been fair if I got charged extra which wasn’t my choice.
- Chander (5/5): Low end budget hostel type accommodation. Not a 3 star hotel. - Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The rooms were not clean and noisy. No closet for hanging clothes.
- Yi (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff, good breakfast, convenient location. The shower was good.
- Coulange (8/5): Very good - The stuff was so friendly and very helpful.... breakfast was nice freshly made.
- Peta (10/5): Exceptional - Rosie who was mainly in charge of things was exceptional. She took us to the ticket office to get bus tickets for Machu Picchu the night before, to save us standing in a longer line the following morning and made sure our breakfast was right on time. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful.
- Carolanne (8/5): Very good - We immediately felt welcomed by the staff. The girl at the reception (I am so sorry I couldn't remember her name, as I have a terrible memory for names) showed us around town, walked us to where we could find our bus tickets, and then to the bus stops, just so that we can be comfortable when we want to go to the Machu Picchu. She was really nice. The town was cute too, extremely touristy so my guess is that people probably go there mainly for the MP. The location was great as Aguas Calientes is very tiny so everything is near everything! The room was extremely humid, but Aguas Calientes IS a humid town so I can imagine it's hard to control for the hotel. It made the nights a little bit less comfortable because the blankets were always a bit moist, but we still liked the hotel very much!
- Eduardo (2/5): Very poor -
- Martyna (5/5): Don't trust the description:/ - The hotel is well located, a bit further from the noise of the center, but still close. Polite, helpful staff. ATTENTION! The owners are cheating! The hotel description does not correspond to reality. There is no heating or air conditioning! I chose this hotel ONLY because they provide heating, and there is none in the room! The staff offered me an extra blanket as compensation, it's a joke. If you arrive late and just want to go to bed, that's fine. But if you want to spend at least an hour in the evening reading or watching media, you have to stay in a jacket and all warm clothes! The nights are cold (May) and the humidity in the room is high. In the morning our clothes were damp.
Additionaly, the towels we received were DIRTY and had orange stains.
The equipment (mirrors, tiles, walls) are old and stained and there was no glass in the window above the door, so we had no privacy and silence, because we could hear everything that was happening in the corridor and hall (and some guests get up at 4 a.m. to climb Machu Picchu).
Due to the shortcomings, I asked for a price reduction and was offered -18 sol, another joke.
I don't understand why the 9.1 rating for this place comes from. The hotel has a rating of 3.1 on Google Maps and this is more adequate. You can get this standard of service at a much lower price, there are plenty of offers in the area. Save yourself the nerves and choose something else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
- Kamal (10/5): Wonderful !!!! - Very helpful and accommodating.
- Dmitrii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (9/5): Great place to stay removed from the noise of the more touristy area - -Somewhat away from the touristy area so it was quieter
-Great value
-They were able to hold luggage on the morning of check out for a few hours, which was super helpful
-Rossy who works there was the absolute best! Helped us find a guide for Machu Picchu on short notice, showed us around the town, and even took us a great local place to eat. -Listing said there was air conditioning, but couldn’t find it in the rooms. It cooled down by evening time so I didn’t ask about it.
- Nissim (8/5): The place is not luxurious but it’s comfortable and excellent value. - The staff at the property go above and beyond in helping organize your trip to Machu Picchu. The host went with us to get our bus tickets, and then even walked us too the bus station in the morning. The host doesn’t speak English but between the minimal Spanish that I know and Google translate there were no issues. Breakfast was simple but home made. The room was comfortable and the shower has plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure, even on the fourth floor.
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional -
