• Lüdeking (10/5): Alles an der Unterkunft war super! - Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage und einen wunderschönen Ausblick und das Personal war super freundlich. Das Essen war total lecker alles war sauber und wunderschön gemacht. Auf dem Balkon haben wir einen Affen gesehen, der uns leider die Sonnencreme geklaut hat. Deshalb passt auf wenn ihr Sachen draußen liegen lasst aber das war natürlich ein Anfängerfehler von uns!

The owners are such sweethearts and if you’d like they can give you a city tour, organize the tour guide for the mountains, massage and taxi to the airport for you. Very helpful. • Laura (10/5): Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick - Eine super schöne, total saubere Unterkunft mit unglaublicher Aussicht auf dem Berg! Die Gastgeberin ist total nett, hat uns ein leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen zubereitet und dafür gesorgt, dass es uns gut geht. Absolute Empfehlung!

Fine if you have a driver, fine if you’re able bodied, but if you have suitcases or mobility difficulties and no driver then you NEED the number for a tuktuk.

• Melissa (9/5): Fab stay - The view was amazing and the sunset perfect as it’s high up above the city with lush views. It’s not easy to reach however, our drivers car did slip several times on the very steep hill and it was a tough walk back after we popped out on foot. Room was comfortable and clean, with a balcony. Be aware it’s not private and is shared with all guests as it’s a shared house and not a hotel. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner and breakfast, plentiful and tasty. Location a bit tricky.

• Elisabeth (9/5): Logement au top - Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit au Dream House Résidence avec un accueil très chaleureux. Très gentils et arrangeants, très bonne cuisine généreuse. Lieu avec une vue absolument magnifique et proche du centre ville à pied ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter. Pas d'eau chaude dans la douche, mais nous n'avons pas demandé à regarder pour autant car il faisait assez chaud donc ce n'était pas insupportable ! Un petit détail je pense bien compensé par le reste !

Die Gastgeber sind wirklich unglaublich herzlich, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen 🙂 Die Zimmer sind sauber & die Aussicht vom Balkon aus ist wahnsinnig schön, man überblickt ganz Kandy. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb des Zentrums aber per Tuktuk wunderbar erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr sehr reichhaltig & lecker. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Nichts :-)

Colazione super abbondante e buonissima. Un ringraziamento va alla signora della struttura che è sempre stata presente e gentile. Attenzione perché la struttura non è proprio nel centro di kandy ma con un tuktuk si raggiunge in 10 minuti (la vista ripaga la distanza)

Sicuramente un posto dove tornate più volte. La strada per arrivare è in salita ma ci sono i tuktuk che ti ci portano abbastanza facilmente e eventualmente delle scalette se si vuole salire a piedi. Tutto perfetto

High up on the hill, the views were amazing and it was great to have breakfast looking out over the hills. Ze raadde ons ook verschillende bezienswaardigheden aan en boekte de tickets (bv. de lokale dansshow). Ze gaf ons info rond alles. Vriendelijkste eigenaren van heel sri lanka!

• Berger (10/5): - Unglaublich freundliche Besitzer und Personal. Die Besitzerin hat uns mehrere schöne Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben und beim Transfer zum Flughafen geholfen. Sehr schönes, neues und sauberes Zimmer. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Rundum ein toller Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist ok, die Unterkunft liegt auf einem Berg. Von der Hauptstraße aus (ca. 200m zu gehen) fahren aber TukTuks für wenig Geld in die Stadt.

Dalla sua posizione riesci a vedere tutta la città e il paesaggio meraviglioso che la circonda. Tutto molto pulito, e veramente di altissimo livello considerando la cifra spesa. La colazione buonissima, ha qualche tocco di “occidentale” ed è servita in questo salotto vetrato bellissimo. Rispetto ad altre strutture lo staff è un po’ meno accogliente, però comunque gentile e disponibile
• Steffie (8/5): - Mooie locatie iets van het centrum af maar met een Tuktuk ben je binnen 5/10 minuten in de levendige binnenstad van Kandy. Wij vonden het wel fijn om iets van de drukte vandaan te zijn. Schone kamer en heerlijk bed. De badkamer was iets minder schoon en bleef lang vochtig na het douchen maar was verder prima. Ontbijt was erg uitgebreid en lekker. Je hebt vanaf het dakterras een mooi uitzicht op de Knuckles Mountains. Bij de accommodatie kan je ook koude drankjes krijgen. Van te voren via Booking contact gehad met de eigenaar over het wandelen in Knuckles Mountains. De eigenaar regelde een gids zodat wij een wandelingen konden maken in de Knuckes Mountains. De badkamer bleef lang vochtig na het douchen.

• Trudi (8/5): Very good - The views were amazing! The hosts were friendly and helpful and the food was great. The steep drive to the property. We were only there for a night so not a real problem however if I were staying longer getting up and down could have been a problem.
• Frantzeska (10/5): Stunning View - The owners of the house were very accommodating. Basically they rent out 3 rooms of their house, but you can use the common spaces without a problem. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view is amazing. You should definitely try the breakfast. The road to the house is a steep incline, just fyi. Also keep in mind that you don't book the whole house, just the rooms of the house.

The hosts were very welcoming, caring and ensured our needs were met. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and recommend it as a must stay for anyone visiting the area.
• Morgan (10/5): Lovely stay with a beautiful view! - The property had a lovely view over kandy. The room was spotless, had good aircon and the bed was comfortable. The owner was very friendly and smiley and offered to make us breakfast and dinner. He also helped us organise a tuktuk for a transfer to the train station. There is quite a steep hill to get to the property but the view makes it worth it.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. With a fantastic view you could sit and enjoy your own breakfast or food prepared by the staff. Although the hill up to the place was very steep, it was well worth it with the lovely view. 10/10 would recommend❤️

Hosts and house manager were super friendly and nice, including giving us a quick ride up the hill and shat9ng somw first aid stuff when I had a minor injury. Only difficulty was getting up to the place - our driver couldn't really get his car comfortably up the steep hill as the road isn't fully paved. the stairs aren't finished. I'm not sure that the property has any control over those things, though. Toilet was a little finicky - had to press flush twice for it.to stop flushing. Otherwise, a great stay, would stay there again.

For me the bed was not comfortable, the sheets were not natural so I didn’t get a proper rest. But I am very sensitive to the places where I sleep. So maybe it’s my personal opinion.

So day time is noisy also at night when we come back, house was full of paint smell. Bad to breathe the paint . They should have refresh air with fan or something. The only issue was the driveway it is steep but so worth it! The view was amazing.

The owners were very friendly and the communication was superb. One of them lives in house but they don't bother you. This is a good place for a family gathering as well as for a group of friends. The price is also reasonable and fair. They have all the amenities and cutlery including a refrigerator and a rice cooker if you want to cook for yourself.Highly recommend!
