• jun (7/5): Nice quick stay for a night with onsen - Traditional onsen with sauna, ice bath, indoor and outdoor onsen. Room was big and spacious and quite. 13 mins drive away from airport. Hallway has a very strong mustard smell. The curtain in our room wasn’t blacked out so it woke us up early. Doesn’t live up to the price when you’re not in a big city/town.

• Calista (2/5): Disappointing - Hotel amenities were well equipped We had a disappointing experience with a front desk staff member, believed to be in a senior position and dressed in a grey blazer. When we politely asked about extending our stay, he immediately declined without checking the system or offering any alternatives. His abrupt manner left a poor impression. Despite the decent facilities, this experience was enough to make me reconsider staying here again. As a hotelier myself, I found the lack of basic courtesy and willingness to assist quite surprising.

• Lea Beatrice (8/5): - At first the hotel looked too dark and kind of old. But actually everything was very comfortable. The onsen was beautiful, especially the outside one. Considering it was just a stop on my long journey from east to west of Japan, I had an unexpected good stay. I would come back for a more deep experience of Monbetsu, especially in winter. 🤷🏽‍♀️

• Marie-Laure (9/5): - The onsen is fabulous, it has a sauna and a cold bath too. In general the hotel is pleasant and doesn't provide kitchen but does provide micro mave, ice, water. The family room was a bit small for 4 with luggage but ok for one room.
