• Joanne (5/5): - Amazing spot. As clean as it could be. The bathroom was unsafe. The floor is sloped and it's always slippery from either leaks or poor design, despite the fact that we mopped constantly. Some maintenance on the broken drain and and ever present water is essential otherwise people will get hurt.
• Hywel (10/5): Great view with easy access to everything - Great view, comfortable apartment. Good access to all of Hydra with easy access to the quieter areas. The kitchen setup to cook if you want. With the view comes all of the stairs. They are okay but not for everyone
• Mike (7/5): We enjoyed visiting Hydra but our accom did not represent value for money - Great location with great views and the property was clean. Unfortunately, we were not able to contact our host for several hours even though the property was apparently ready for us to move in earlier than expected. The bathroom was unsatisfactory and the shower was ridiculous and leaked substantially to the point where we had to use all available towels to mop up. We would not stay there again. The bathroom but the shower especially had major issues as articulated above,

Parvekeella oli mukava istua illalla. Lähellä oli useita kauppoja ja ravintoloita. Portaita oli paljon ja se oli tiedossa, mutta en tiennyt että polveni olisi kipeä. Pärjättiin silti. Huoneen sisustus vaatimaton ikea-kalustus, noin upean asunnon saisi helposti vielä viihtyisämmäksi ja toimivammaksi. Kylppäri ahdas ja lainehti vettä. En löytänyt kuivauslastaa, vain mopin.
• Despina (8/5): Delightful experience - We recently spent two nights at this charming apartment in Hydra, and it was a delightful experience. Our host was exceptionally friendly and proactive, providing us with all the necessary information before our arrival, from accessing the keys to detailed directions for locating the apartment. The apartment itself has an old-world charm but is well-maintained and comfortable. Its location offers breathtaking views of Hydra, a reward for the effort needed to conquer the numerous rocky stairs and uphill paths leading to it. Overall, it was a good stay that combined hospitality, charm, and stunning vistas. The bathroom could use some renovation.

Le suivi de notre accueil par notre hôte, ses réponses rapides, l'équipement global de l'appartement et le ménage au milieu de la semaine. La qualité du 3e couchage et le manque de certains ustensiles basiques pour la cuisine (pas de planche à découper, spatule, grande cuillère).
• Lisa (8/5): - L’appartement est climatisé, proche du port et plutôt spacieux. L’hôte est très sympathique et répond très rapidement aux messages. La douche pourrait vraiment être changée, elle inonde la petite salle de bain, même en faisant très attention.

• Elvina (8/5): Vue magnifique et calme - La vue! Magnifique, sur les hauteurs du village. Appartement calme, très propre, assez grand. De gentilles intentions pour notre arrivée (eau fraîche, café). La communication très facile avec la propriétaire. La salle de bain est très petite et surtout on inonde à chaque douche. Il n’y a pas de clim pour ceux qui dorment dans le salon, seulement un petit ventilateur.

• Georgios (9/5): Great choice in Hydra - The view is stunning. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. The apartment has everything you need. The shower cabin has a tendency to leak so while it’s fine for two people staying, any more might be problematic in terms of how wet the bathroom floor gets.

• Mdr (9/5): Perfect view, lovely place - with some faults - The location and the price: Hydra is expensive and this flat is really a bargain, with a dream view over the city and for us (couple with toddler) very spacy. The balcony is lovely. The kitchen had some giveaways (coffee capsules for machine in addition to pouder), though still one of the least equipped we had on our trip. The bathroom does have issues as other reviews mention it: the shower walls are leaky...so you do flood the bathroom. Given the price and view of the place we lived with it. And yes, you have to walk there but honestly we did not have an issue with it - maybe because we do sports...
• Evy (7/5): Great views, many steps to reach, bathroom needs an urgent upgrade. - The view makes it up for the basic accommodation structure and furniture. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower spreads water all over the bathroom, it’s a very easy fix with a silicone strip that the owners refuse to do it for some reason.. the water drain inside the shower also is unglued and I hurt my foot why showering… toilet sit is also broken. Closet in the bedroom is very poor and not aesthetic.. very basic and old furniture.
• James (7/5): Amazing views of Hydra and harbour - It was very clean and had a great view of the town and harbour. Unfortunately the bed was very hard and uncomfortable and we didn’t realize you had to climb 235 steps to reach it! As we are in our mid-70s, that was a challenge each day!

• Graeme (8/5): Helpful host, good space, bathroom needs work - Pleasant views, decent size, friendly and helpful host. It can be tricky to find at first, but once you've memorised the route, it's easy. WiFi wasn't working when we arrived, but host Christiana got this fixed asap, which was appreciated. The bathroom definitely needs attention. The windows rattle a lot when it's windy, but if you close the shutters and put a pair of socks in between the shutter and the window, it helps.

• Alexis (10/5): Perfect - Everything was perfect. We came earlier than expected to Hydra and our host made it very easy for us to have the keys earlier. The flat is perfect for 3/4 people. Very cute, and the view is amazing. I strongly recommend! Thanks again for an amazing stay
• Svetlio79 (9/5): Great view from the balkony and the room windows - The view is really amazing, both from the balkony and from the windows of the two rooms. This is actually what would make someone go for the property. The owners were easy to reach, provided instructions and additional information. There were some breakfast supplies as well. The apartment needs some renovation. The main double bed is situated between two bathrooms - the second being in the apartment next door. The lighting could be improved as well.

• Pmuricata (9/5): Hydra is a great find and the view from Alpha View was as good as it gets. - For us everything was the superb view that made our visit just wonderful. Each window has a view of all of Hydra. A little difficult to find the first time (it's actually just off the main walkway right above the school) and you do have to drag your bags up there too. The place was quiet, spacious and central. Restaurants and shops just minutes away. Cooking was fine on site. Internet? We used our hotspot. Would stay there again for sure. HIkes all around the island were just lovely. Directions to get there could have been better. We ended up on a few dead-end stairways, but the problems were soon resolved.
• Audra (7/5): Great location with incredible views. Cute apartment, but not the best for a super hot summer visit. - The location and views from the room were epic! The place was very clean, comfy bed and seating and nice little kitchen. Very walkable to the harbor which had tons of restaurants, bars and shops. There was also a super close market. Upon arrival, all the windows were wide open and the AC was not on. My stay was in near 100-degree August heat, so this was miserable at first. We ended up figuring out how to turn on AC (located in bedroom) and also move a fan into the bedroom in order to cool off the apartment. Given the size of the AC unit, we knew it'd likely would not cool the entire apartment for our 2 night stay, and opted to simply close the bedroom door to keep that room cool and comfortable. The rest of the apartment was very hot and humid, even with windows open. I love summer and warm weather, but this factor made our stay a bit uncomfortable. Especially after the 284 steps from the harbor to the apartment each day. Regardless, the apartment was cute and you simply couldn't beat the views from the bedroom, patio or living room.

• Christopher (7/5): The hosts have done what they can for this level of property. - The view was fantastic, and thats why we stayed there. The hosts left some wine, jams and cake that was appreciated. The hosts communication was excellent and met us at the ferry. Its an effort to get there but nice with the Great views. There were a lot of steps, but this was expected. It was also expensive compared to other like accomodations in Greece but unfortunately Hydra overall was expensive.
