Terrasse auch gemütlich, lädt ein für eine Verschnaufpause von Baris Trubel. Man teilt sich die Unterkunft mit einer weiteren Mietpartei. Wenn man im unteren Zimmer ist, hat man unter Umständen ein ewiges Auf und Ab vor der Tür, die steile Treppe machts laut…

• Mike (8/5): Pleasant - room comfortable and well located for old town. - Location good. Host was fine but not overly attentive. Once the room was available we were on our own from there. Good location for the Old town ( Bari Vecchia). List of restaurants sent by whatsapp with locations etc. The spiral stair is a bit daunting but we were forewarned about this.

• Trisha (10/5): We had a wonderful stay. Great location and helpful host. - The location is very central on one of the most popular streets in Bar Vecchia. The room was spacious and quiet. The bed was comfortable and very clean. We loved the decor and vibe. The host was very accommodating and met us early to check in and arranged transportation for us to the airport. He went above and beyond! It is not accessible by car so be prepared to walk with your luggage.

• Lubica Kanichova (10/5): Perfekt! Top-Lage, gute Ausstattung, Terasse, Gepäckaufbewahrung und Professionalität. - Alessandro war ein sehr aufmerksamer und herzlicher Gastgeber. Die Schlüsselübergabe verlief völlig unkompliziert, und zur Begrüßung standen sogar Mineralwasser und kleine Snacks für uns bereit. Im Zimmer gab es eine Kaffeemaschine, und in der Gemeinschaftsküche konnten wir Wasserkocher und Tee nutzen. Das Apartment ist sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, außerdem war alles ausgesprochen sauber – was wir in Italien nicht immer so erlebt haben. Die Lage ist hervorragend, die beste Focaccia gibt es gleich um die Ecke. Alessandro hat uns zudem tolle Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge gegeben. Am Abreisetag konnten wir unsere Koffer problemlos im Gemeinschaftsraum lassen und sie erst kurz vor der Fahrt zum Flughafen abholen. Besonders schön ist auch die Terrasse mit einem tollen Ausblick – leider konnten wir sie wegen des Regens nicht nutzen. Dafür gibt es Klimaanlage - die man auch zum Heizen nutzen kann (im Bad gibt ein Heizkörper, der sehr schnell den Bad warm macht) Die Treppe zum Zimmer und Terasse ist sehr eng und steil, damit sollte man rechnen.

A recommander sans hésitation ! - L’emplacement parfait, le calme le soir, l’accueil pro et chaleureux, la décoration de bon goût et raffinée, les équipements et la terrasse . L’escalier est très raide MAIS une personne a pris en charge nos bagages. Ce qui est un vrai plus !!!

Wrócimy tam na 100%. W obiekcie na dachu jest taras z meblami ogrodowymi do wypoczynku. Z okien apartamentu widać jak Włoszki produkują makaron!!!!

Dando todo tipo de indicaciones antes de la llegada , una gran recepción y nos posibilitó servicio de Taxi para las 04h de la madrugada hacía el aeropuerto que nos facilitó mucho el final de nuestro viaje, esto fué muy importante . Nos recomendó muy buenos restaurantes típicos de Bari Habitación de buen tamaño, confortable, muy bien decorada y ambientada, muy cómoda las camas, cuarto de baño perfecto , con una ducha maravillosa Máquina de café con pastas y chocolatinas , botellas de agua y unas roscas típicas de regalo de bienvenida Situada en una de las calles más conocidas de Bari Vecchio donde las señoras hacen a mano y en la propia calle las pastas típicas de Bari. Localización perfecta para conocer y disfrutar de la estancia en la ciudad TODO PERFECTO

• Linda (10/5): Stunning and unique property in the heart of Old Town Bari - highly recommend. - The room has been designed exceptionally well with access to a rooftop space and communal kitchen. The location is perfect for exploring the old town and host, Alessandro very welcoming and helpful. Nothing we didn't like, however the spiral staircase up to the room is as described at the time of booking and therefore would recommend minimal luggage (although Alessandro is happy to help guests).

• Diana (10/5): Torneremo. Da non perdere! - Bellissima torre medievale ristrutturata tre anni fa con grande gusto. La terrazza sul tetto con vista sul castello svevo! Eravamo stati avvertiti della stretta scala a chiocciola, che per noi non era assolutamente un problema.

• travel24 (10/5): Soggiorno a Bari vecchia - Alessandro ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo mostrandoci la camera e tutti gli spazi (purtroppo a causa del tempo e del freddo non abbiamo potuto usufruire del terrazzo). La camera è all’interno di una torre ristrutturata molto bene e con ottimo gusto, dimensioni della stanza adeguate, macchinetta del caffè e dolcetti in stanza super apprezzati, oltre a un piccolo cadeaux di taralli. Host super gentile e disponibile, ci ha subito condiviso le informazioni sulla città e i posti suggeriti dove poter mangiare. La struttura si trova nella zona di Bari vecchia, nella famosa via delle orecchiette. Assolutamente super consigliato! Nulla

• Sue (9/5): Characterful room in a fabulous location. Informative & friendly host. - Our host was in touch on WhatsApp from making the booking. He was waiting for us when we arrived, even though our flight got delayed (we kept him updated by WhatsApp). The accommodation is in a historic house and the spiral staircase was exactly as described, and reiterated by our host. It wasn’t a problem for us but would undoubtedly need to be a consideration for some. Our host kindly helped us with our luggage up the staircase. Even though we didn’t use it, there was use of a shared kitchen area with dining table. The roof terrace was a lovely place to relax. We had arrived at night so woke up to discover we were staying just inside the famous street where the ladies make orecchiette. The location couldn’t have been better - next to the fort, just inside the old town so we had all the atmosphere and character of the old town but didn’t have to trek through the maze of alleys to get anywhere. Small fridge and coffee machine in our room was a nice touch. There was a bigger fridge in the shared kitchen. Our host was helpful, friendly & informative. Would have liked a bigger set of drawers for our clothes but that’s just a personal preference.

Das Haus was eher ein Turm ist, macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas besonderem Es gibt gar nichts auszusetzen. Der Gastgeber ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war alles vor Ort alles wie beschrieben. Es gab sogar eine Kaffeemaschine.

Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, schöner Blick von der Terrasse über die Altstadt. Matratze neigt sich zum Außenrand des Bettes, was ein Gefühl des Abrutschens verursacht. Bettwäsche für unsere Verhältnisse ungewohnt.
• Peter (10/5): It’s a great to place to enjoy Bari - right beside the hustle and bustle of the Nonna’s during the day but quiet at nigh - The room was beautiful with modern decor and lots of amenities…and we could have not been closer to the Nonna’s making their famous orechiette. The owner was very helpful with details before we arrived and took lots of time to explain everything to us when they met us at the property. The spiral stair is not the easiest way to get luggage to the rooms. Fortunately we were travelling light as anything bigger than a small case or backpack could be a problem.

Staff were super helpful with suggestions of restaurants and how to spend our time in Bari. Uncle was super helpful taking our luggage up the very steep spiral staircase and Alessandro offered to bring them down again at the end of our stay. The super steep spiral staircase! Even though we were alerted to access being via a spiral staircase before our arrival and we don’t have mobility issues it is super steep. Because if this I didn’t feel we got to enjoy the fabulous rooftop terrace as much as we would have if access wasn’t so tight nor the shared kitchen downstairs.

• Matthew (8/5): A lovely apartment in a good location, we enjoyed our stay. - Location was great. Easy walking distance from everywhere in the Bari ‘old town’. Good room, with just about everything we needed. The host Alessandro was very helpful. The Arco Basso Suites consist of two individual rooms. Soundproofing between rooms is not good, and on one night we were kept awake after midnight for over an hour by other guests making an unacceptable level of noise.

• Kathy (10/5): Amazing location! - We had an amazing stay at the apartment, great location right at the entry of the old town, right where Nona’s knead pasta with church bells in the background. The host is very hospitable & helpful and the apartment is clean with all the amenities needed. Whilst disclosed upfront by the host upon booking, it’s worth noting the staircase is narrow and steep and is tricky with large bags. We did however have the host help us carry our luggage up and down which was extremely appreciated. Parking is available via a secure parking station close by the apartment (300 meters) which was very handy for us. Overall, excellent stay.

The kitchen area was great, and the bedroom was gorgeous. Alessandro did a great renovation job. Location is perfect as well overlooking the 'ladies of Bari' - not the red light kind :)

• Hans-Peter Krakehl (10/5): Wohnen in einem historischen Turm - Super Lage, direkt am Eingang zum historischen Zentrum. Ein historischer Turm mit Terrasse, liebevoll saniert und ausgestattet. Perfekte handwerkliche Ausführung. Sehr schönes Bad. Insgesamt sehr gelungene Ausnutzung des schmalen Turms beim Ausbau.
• Christoph (9/5): Historische Unterkunft im Herzen von Bari - Suite Torre Arcobasso liegt namengebend direkt an der Via Arcobasso und damit an der berühmten Gassen mit den Herrinnen der Nudeln. Originaler kann man in Bari nicht wohnen. Die Unterkunft selbst ist uralt, aber mit wirklich viel Fingergefühl für heutige Zeiten adaptiert. Eine historische Unterkunft in konkurrenzloser Lage. Die beste Parkgarage ist 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Ansonsten ist man im absoluten Zentrum von Bari. Unser Zimmer war großzügig, auch das Bad war gut eingerichtet. Das ist keine Kritik, es wird von vornherein festgestellt: das ist ein historischer Turm, zu den Zimmern kommt man über eine sehr steile Wendeltreppe. Man sollte also gut zu Fuß sein. Ein kleiner Bon für ein einfaches Frühstück wäre nett gewesen, aber das ist Jammern auf höchsten Niveau.
