Everything that you could possibly need is there. 2 mins walk from the sea, 5 mins walk from the town and some amazing restaurants. We had a lovely walk along the beach and coastal path to Mappleton. Amazing views and close up to the disappearing coastline. Nothing!
• Jayne (9/5): Great find - Lovely house near the promenade with easy access to town pubs, shops and restaurants. Everything that you need was there, it's a home from home. Beds comfy, loads of space and great to have parking outside. Would definitely return if staying in Hornsea. House was cooler than our preference, but easily sorted by boosting heating.

• Susan (8/5): Relaxed, refreshed, ready to start again. - Lovely modern interior. Quiet area, central to town and beach. All the essentials. Comfy beds. Nothing to complain about without being very picky.
• Ann (7/5): NY Eve in Honsea - Very spacious & we'll equipped When we arrived we soon realised that the property hadn't been cleaned, however upon contacting Kate she was very apologetic & organised the cleaners immediately, there had been a mis communixation & she also offered us a discount. There was a slight problem with not enough hot water in showers & we felt cold at times due to the open staircase even with heating on high. We felt that fires in both fireplaces would have enhanced each room.

Communication with host is great. Beds are very comfortable and nice little touches like games and toys are there for children to keep them busy. Nothing

• Amanda (10/5): A little Seaside paradise!! - Close proximity of house to seafront & the town itself & yet the property was tucked away in a quiet lane. I came with my mum & sister on a bit of a pilgrimage to bring my grandmother's ashes home. Wonderful stay & so pleased to see Hornsea is still thriving! Have so many happy childhood memories spent here, right up until my early twenties when my grandmother moved north to be closer to the family. Could not fault anything. Altogether a very memorable stay & would definitely return to Hornsea Holiday House! Thank you 😊

• Julia (10/5): Beautiful Victorian Terrace - The size of the house is fabulous. Great for the family to spread out with 4 tvs and a lovely garden. Kitchen is very well equipped and the the bedrooms and bathrooms all very spacious. Beautiful Victorian property and only a stones throw from the beach and the town. Definitely recommend this property. -
• Frances (9/5): Lovely place to stay - Fabulous location. Really quiet. Everything is done to a really high standard. Beds very comfortable. Everything is catered for. Would definitely recommend 😊 There is a lack of seating to eat if there are more than 4 people. Short people find bar stools awkward. Could do with a full length mirror and dressing tables in bedrooms. Outside space is a bit soulless. Also baking trays needed

• Mark (10/5): Stunning - An amazing, stunning 3 bedroom house in a brilliant and very quiet location in Hornsea. There's nothing not to like, everything you need for a short or long break. We stayed 2 nights, but could have easily stayed a week or longer. Beach/ promenade 2 minutes away and town centre not much longer. Free parking, always a bonus. 4 massive tv's with Sky. Gorgeous bathroom with roll top bath and rainfall shower. Comfy beds, 3 double bedrooms, one ensuite. Massive thank you to our host, Claire. Deffo recommend, we'll be coming back soon.

Such a lot of care has gone into the decor and everything you need and more is provided. Claire is a great host and answers any queries very quickly. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach and shops and restaurants. We will definitely be booking again. There really is nothing negative to say about Hornsea Holiday House

• Andrea (8/5): Beautiful house perfect location. - Location was perfect, house was very well equipped and looked amazing. Beds comfortable and owner friendly. Lack of seating for 6 people to eat. Easily solved by removing very large … and wobbly armchair and bookshelf and putting a table there instead. Had a slight issue with some leftover food but owner very receptive to messaging and apologised. Could maybe just do with a simple instruction booklet for bins/fire/dishwasher etc Hasn’t put us off I’ve already booked again for January

• Naomi (10/5): A perfect place to enjoy Hornsea from. - Beautiful house, very thoughtful host with little added extras like biscuits and ice pops. Exceptionally well furnished. Lovely location so close to the beach and town, but in a private road so felt nice and quiet.
• Zoe (7/5): Good base for exploring the east coast, plan to eat out unless you want to eat in front of the TV. - Location, size of the house. Multiple bathrooms. Televisions in every room. Satellite TV, Internet worked well. Sufficient towels provided. Large fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave provided. Nice house. Downstairs bathroom, no table to sit and have a meal, insufficient matching plates,glasses, cutlery. Kitchen cupboards very untidy and haphazardly stored. Difficult for 6 people to sit comfortably anywhere in or out of the house. Felt like the house needed a deep clean, it was tidy and superficially clean , but we had to wash everything before using it, a greasy film over everything, windows very poorly cleaned.

• Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - The house was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a weekend away with my grandchildren, close to the beach which was very child friendly. They loved the back garden and the green at the front of the house playing in the trees and on the grass. The 3 showers were perfect so there were no arguments about who could go first!!!

• Sarah (10/5): Peace and quiet, luxury, space and at one with nature - So much Space!, comfort, spotless clean, fab bed and pillows, terrific shower, close to the sea, so peaceful, the ‘wader’ bird sounds from my bedroom on a night were just terrific, the mature trees behind the green offered so much privacy Nothing
• Jude (10/5): Super in every way imaginable - Location, facilities, cleanliness, everything Struggled a little with the back door locking system but that wasn’t a huge issue. Also couldn’t find the every day glasses, this was mainly a miscommunication thing as the house information wasn’t available - again not a major problem as the very friendly owner happened to be nearby to advise us.

Recommended! - Brilliant overall stay - fantastic communication from Claire, great property location and the house itself is out of this world! Five guys from Liverpool felt like kings staying here after completing our C2C bike ride along the TPT. Many thanks! :O) Slight confusion between Wilton Road (where we initially went) and Wilton Terrace but not a major issue as we soon resolved with the appliance of science.
• Colin (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and spacious house, renovated to a high standard. The best of Hornsea's facilities within easy walking distance. Had a pleasant and relaxing short break with our granddaughter and daughter in law. Nothing really.
