Guest Reviews
- Luuk (9/5): A comfortable villa, ideally located with lots of hotspots in and around the area - The villa is perfectly located – about a 35-minute drive from the airport – in a quiet and peaceful environment. There is a road nearby, but once inside the villa you immediately feel relaxed and comfortable. The house itself is wonderful: spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and all the (basic) comforts you need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen may look a little outdated, but it’s fully equipped, including a BBQ that we used often. The outdoor area is very spacious, with plenty of grass and a beautiful swimming pool – ideal for playing games, relaxing, and cooling down.
The nearby village is within walking distance and definitely worth the stroll. It has a cozy main street filled with restaurants, tourist shops, and entertainment. At the end of the street you’ll find a crossing that leads to the beach. The beach bar is set in a beautiful bay and offers comfortable and affordable sunbeds, perfect for spending a day by the sea.
A supermarket is just a 10-minute walk away if you cross the riverbed (or whatever it was). Be sure to wear proper shoes, as flip-flops aren’t suitable for the path. The supermarket itself is modern and well-stocked, comparable to large supermarkets in most EU countries.
Another big plus is the number of activities nearby. Seven Springs, Butterfly Valley, Lindos, and Rhodes Town are all within a 20–30 minute drive.
As a bonus, we were welcomed by four friendly cats who seemed to guard the villas. Since we love cats, they were a delightful addition to our stay. The only minor drawback – for which we found some workarounds – is that there’s just one parasol by the pool. In other words, there aren’t many shaded areas available until around 3–3:30 pm.
- Amanda (9/5): Amazing holiday! - The villa exceeded our expectations. It was lovely and clean, which was refreshing. We were very grateful for the complimentary bottles of water, cereal, biscuits and wine.
The beds were extremely comfortable with extra blankets if needed. Air conditioning in all the rooms was good. All the windows had shutters and most had a mosquito screen on them.
There is a plentiful supply of towels for the bathroom and pool.
There are most things you may need in the kitchen to prepare food.
Villa management responded to any enquiries quickly.
The pool was great and provided endless fun for our boys. The pool guy also checked it regularly (possibly daily) during our stay.
A lovely group of ladies came by half way through our stay to change bedding etc and clean.
It's a very quiet area which was a bonus. Make sure to keep the gate closed, we didn't one night and had sheep in the garden the next morning much to the boys amusement.
We had a few feline visitors too that we all fell in love with.
Check-in and check-out were easy with the use of a secure key safe (that the owner emails a code for) to be able to gain access to the villa.
It is a short walk to the local supermarket, pharmacy, atm's and Tavernas, although you do need to walk alongside the busy main road for a short distance.
A car is a must for this villa if you want to explore. Nothing
- Jane (1/5): Stressful! - Loved the pool area and how quiet the surroundings were. The property was not clean when we arrived and having contacted the management company they assured us the cleaners would go and inspect so we nipped out, when we came back it was exactly the same not clean. I had to spend the first two hours of my family holiday cleaning the villa. The toilet didn’t flush, there was a drain hole collapsed in the bathroom which was dangerous, (the maintenance man did come and fix those) and then two air con units gave up and broke and we were left over night and most of the next day in 37 degree heat before the technician came out to fix those. It’s been problems after problems and a stressful time away, I’m awaiting to hear back from the management team regarding a refund of the property.
- Sampo (10/5): Ordinary tourist family - Top notch place with all necessary amenities ready to start the holiday.
Very good and reachable customer care. Some mlnor issues were addressed seriously and rapidly. Customer service was easily available via whatsapp. Nice pool area. Own garage was really nice because car was not hot when going out. Peaceful area. Own car is almost a necessity due to slightly far distances to places. Although shop is close. But with rented car this place is in really good location.
- Magnus (10/5): Exceptional - The villa was tastefully decorated, and the pool was a fantastic bonus! Whether we were relaxing by the water, enjoying the beautiful large garden, or exploring the surroundings, every moment was perfect.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - We spent a lot of time at the pool and enjoyed the nearby local attractions. The hosts were friendly, quick to respond, and had great recommendations.
- Georges (10/5): Exceptional - Great villa, nice outdoor area, fully equipped kitchen and extra welcoming hosts! Would come back!
